Went this morning and ordered French toast but asked for no powdered sugar. Waitress delivered the French toast with powdered sugar on top and apologized. She said, 'I'll get a fresh order out to you.' I then watched her go to the kitchen and dust off the powdered sugar and then with her bare hand flipped both pieces of French toast onto a new plate and walked it right back out to me. As it was my last visit, fast & efficient service and food delivery. I had the Salmon Benedict, which was very good. The only thing that would make it better, would have been to lightly toast the bread that it comes on. The salad greens with lemon dressing is a great touch. read more

We have been customers here for a few years. The cooks never seem to get things right on our breakfast orders. Overcooked or undercooked eggs, toast as hard as shingles, cold sausages, cold decaf coffee, and overcooked biscuits. The toast is so cold that the butter looks like mayonnaise. I've given up on this place. It's just not worth given them another chance. I hope they read this review and make an effort to correct their reoccurring mistakes. read more

Every time we've been here it has been a great experience. The service is always warm and friendly, in addition to being attentive. The restaurant is always clean and bright, with lots of natural light thanks to the big windows. The food is always really good, and they have a pretty extensive menu available. They also do a good job making gluten-free options available, including modifying existing menu items. We always have a great breakfast (or brunch) anytime we stop in at First Watch. read more

I absolutely love this First Watch! I've been three times now and have had an amazing experience each time. The servers have always been very friendly and kind. The food has consistently been delicious, fresh, and has come out with not too much of a wait - even on busy days. There is plenty of parking outside, so that has never been an issue. I've always sat inside the dining room, but there is also an outdoor patio option! We went here for breakfast on a recent visit to Nashville. We were on a weekday morning, it wasn't too busy. They do have a wait list feature you can use before you leave home which must be nice nice for busy days. This is a big inviting restaurant with an extensive menu. There are lots of breakfast standards and some special things as well. It is a bit pricey. My husband and I both had the elevated breakfast sandwich which was really good. Fresh bread, lots of bacon and nicely cooked eggs. The potatoes were ok, not spectacular. Friendly service too and good coffee. read more

Haven't been to a FW in sometime. I go to quite a few local breakfast places and based on my experience I would give this place a 2.5 Stars if I could (vs a 2 Star). The staff that greets you is nice and welcoming. We did go on a busy morning and it was packed. The place itself is large and lots of seating. We had breakfast for 2 adults & 1 child and it was close to $60 with tip (no cocktails) - to be honest expected a bit more in quality for what we paid for. Our waitstaff was nice, but not super attentive, then again she had a several tables and it was busy, so completely get it. The water glasses were dirty, so we cleaned them up. Coffee was okay. Ordered the Lemon Ricotta pancakes and I've had them at other places before and these were just meh, and the lemon curd itself was basic. The one thing that got me was that they ask if you want table syrup or maple syrup, so of course you say maple. So you get this small bottle and an additional charge of $1.59 for it to your meal. I think if you're selling pancakes or waffles on the menu, honestly that should be included. The Millionaire Bacon is bacon with maple syrup and seasoning, wasn't wowed by it. We had ordered a single plain biscuit which was close to $3 and it was meh. The other breakfast was standard eggs, sausage and potato, and everything was overly salted, way too much butter on the toast and some of the potatoes were not cooked all the way. Our little had a pancake and sausage, and pancake was standard. Also, when you walk towards the restroom you got a weird whiff of sewer smell that was unpleasant, right before the kitchen. Walked into the restroom, it stunk (not really ventilated) and was not really cleaned, so walked right back out. You pay at the counter and staff at the counter was pleasant. The food was pretty decent so this review is to focus on the service or lack thereof. We were seated at a table which had a bunch of spilled coffee underneath the table. Right where our feet would rest. Not a big deal but we didn't want to marinate our shoes in the liquid. We kindly asked our waitress Demetra if we could move or have it cleaned up. The response was less than friendly and took quite a while. Without going into all of the details, passive aggression was on the menu today. This was our first time at First Watch - and it won't be our last! I usually start reviews with the food but today I have to tell you about our service! Brittney was OUTSTANDING! It was the most pleasant, friendly, efficient service I have received, in years! The host was also very welcoming and kind on the way out! Good service is often harder to find than good food, but the team at FW was great! I also would like to add they looked very presentable and sharp - everyone in uniform and hair back - seems odd to say but it was noticeable! The restaurant was very clean and cute! Oh the food, delicious! Pancakes HUGE! I had the yogurt bowl, it was perfect and I wasn't feeling the muffin but she prepackaged it up for us to take with us (and by the way she brought it right away packaged so she didn't forget). This is always an old standby for us when it comes to breakfast. I love the TriAthlete doused in hot sauce! I also love the pancakes. The staff is always on top of things and so nice. Sometimes there can be a wait, but nothing too crazy at this location. My only complaint is the horrible tea option - they have so many cool beverage choices, I wish they would carry some legit tea bags as it's important for my breakfast as a non coffee drinker. read more

The oatmeal breakfast is the best coupled with a delicious blueberry muffin and coffee. Yum! I've been to several of these across the US and I am never disappointed. A good solid place for breakfast food that is much more presentable and delectable than WaHo or Denny's. This particular location had really great ambiance, very relaxed, could spread out and feel laid back even though it was busy. Highly recommend. Nice morning stroll from the Hilton. Quickly seated and quickly was served a pot of hot coffee. Ordered the Crab Avocado toast and per our server's suggestion, scrambled eggs with cheese (you do get charged extra for the cheese). HB had the same only with basted eggs and we split a side of grits with butter (huge dollop) and cheese (again costs extra). First timer at First Watch, not sure how I missed it for this long. We arrived on a weekday morning and were seated right away. Space is clean, neat, and it does give vibes of being a chain but I'm ok with that. Our server was prompt, took our drink orders right away, answered our questions regarding the menu and the seasonal specials. I ordered the Seasonal Truffled Wild Mushroom Frittata. It came with fruit cup which seemed fresh. Greens on top along with an herbed cream cheese. There was also a slice of ciabatta, which I used to chase around some of the cream cheese that escaped the frittata. Frittata was very good, nice flavor. We also ordered an order of the Million Dollar bacon to share. Sharing is the way to go on this, sugar, syrup and all kinds of goodness but so very rich, no one should eat an entire serving! Had a decent breakfast this today at First Watch. We arrived around 12 noon and was seated immediately. I had the Chile Chorizo Omelette and it was just okay. My wife had the Market Skillet and loved it! We both ordered a specialty pancake on the side and they were just average.Our server seemed super busy and was not very attentive. Thankfully, they deliver a coffee pot and water bottle to your table so you don't have to ask for refills. I was really impressed that the coffee stayed piping hot for the whole meal. The highlight of the meal was their whole grain toast that came with the meal. Good menu with a lot of options. Would definitely recommend but we probably won't return. read more

Got classic eggs Benedict and wouldn't get it again. The hollandise was strange, it looks like butter or whatever it was, separated...not appealing looking at all. One of the eggs was missing a yolk (guessing it broke and seeped into the sauce?). I should have taken a picture as I feel like it should have not been acceptable to serve it the way it looked. The waffle was good. The omelet with kale had hardly any kale it it - maybe 2-3 tiny pieces. Overall I'd give this place a 3.5. Would try it again but definitely order something different. read more
