You know what you're getting into when you go to a Waffle House, and this location is a favorite for me. I think of this location as the "clean" Waffle House (aka one I'm willing to visit when I'm sober and the sun is out) and the service here is just amazing. Immediately gets you seated (if there is a wait, they move through quickly). No pressure to order more, they are friendly and refill your beverages even if you are just sitting for awhile. I actually need some of the pricier downtown brunch places to learn what good service looks like from the kind folks who work here. Truly no one does an old school waffle + hash browns better than WH, for me. It is actually really confusing how difficult it is to find "shredded" style hash browns at breakfast/brunch places in Nashville and WH is still the good standard for me. Crispy on the outside, lots of fun mix-ins, absolutely must be eaten with hot sauce and ketchup. Servings are generous (how is it only $1 to double your order of hash browns??) and lots of parking, as this location shares a lot with Lowe's. My one minor gripe is they no longer have hot chocolate on the menu. But overall, this location is a real gem.

Zero complaints about this Waffle House. It was clean, service was super friendly and fast, and we ate entirely too much. I had the huge All Star Special, which is an insane amount of food for $8... eggs, hash browns or grits, bacon, toast, and a waffle! Look, it wasn't the most delicious breakfast food I've ever had, it's more 3-star level. The food isn't fancy or gourmet or upscale. But it is a classic diner where you'll fill your tummy without emptying your pockets, and it's tasty enough. You're at Waffle House. They're friendly, fast, casual, cheap, and something about it feels right. It's the South, after all. So I'm betting if you have realistic expectations, it will pleasantly surprise you, especially this nice new location in Cool Springs.

I was told come to waffle house and you will see opposum. There were none. Only racloons. A few bites and I might have rabies. My son has food poisoning from the bottomless shrimp & steak. Terrible

So we had to try a Waffle House. There are so many out here in Tennessee and in the 9 months we have lived here have never tried one. My wife is pretty picky with our every Friday breakfast out and I was surprised she wanted to try this "diner". It exceeded our expectations. Now that's not saying a whole lot since we were expecting to just walk away while saying "at least we can say we tried a Waffle House"! It's diner food but tastes better than expected. Waffles are not thick ones but hey... their logo is embedded in everyone they make. Never seen that before! Toast is Wonder Bread and I didn't eat it. The stars I give represent the quality and experience for the "type" of restaurant it is!

Hash browns. Smothered, double covered and diced .

Normally that's enough to make me reconsider brunch, but after eating here, I'd happily do it again. We were seated outside on an incredibly hot day, and our server--lovingly known as "Slacker"--absolutely earned a shoutout. He somehow managed to keep our table of indecisive food-sharers organized, never let our water glasses get empty, and made the whole experience feel relaxed instead of rushed. The only disappointment? They had already run out of gravy, which meant no biscuits and gravy for us. (My heart still hasn't fully recovered.) Instead, we leaned into sharing everything else. The fried green tomatoes absolutely lived up to the hype, the OG Bennie was fantastic, the avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and because apparently self-control wasn't invited to brunch, we finished with the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes for "dessert." No regrets. Great food, fantastic service, and a perfect stop while exploring downtown Franklin. Just do yourself one favor... Get there early if biscuits and gravy are calling your name.

There are lots of places here for breakfast and all good and all menus a little different from each other. Ruby Sunshine is located in the roundabout on Main Street in an elegant building with an upscale feel. Picking up on the Nashville Country vibe, you'll find a wall of red Cowboy boots; but all are right-footed! The service is friendly and attentive, your coffee won't go cold, and you won't go thirsty either. We had the Southern breakfast and the friend green tomatoes Betty (benedict) What is interesting about this place is, although a chain, everything is home cooked and tastes like it too--biscuits, grits, gravies, sauces! Enjoy!

We asked for recommendations and boy did we get it, we got a plain biscuit with the most delicious jam. Flakey, fluffy and layered so it's a good size. We order the Southern Benny with chronic bacon on top (best recommendation by the staff) instead of ham and a poached eggs. The gravy was phenomenal and flavorful and it's a plate lickin meal. Grab a Waffle and Berries if you want a little sweet but together you could share it all, which is what we did. I couldn't have picked a better place to try on the first day in Franklin. The staff was so sweet and the restaurant even had a coffee bar, upset I didn't order coffee but always next time!! Cute outside patio and the most adorable bathroom... Who doesn't love Dolly

The warm, inviting vibe immediately drew me in. Since I was dining solo, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, which the hostess kindly pointed out was available. Considering the restaurant was packed and there was a long wait for tables, I was more than happy to skip the wait and settle right in. Behind the bar, the team was hustling, expertly balancing both coffee and cocktail orders while keeping things moving efficiently. I was greeted right away, handed a menu, and after a few minutes decided on an iced lavender latte and the lemon poppyseed waffle. My server offered a few side options, but I had a feeling the waffle would be more than enough. The lavender latte was fantastic, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of lavender syrup. It was flavorful without being overpowering and made for a refreshing start to the meal. Then came the waffle. The presentation alone was impressive; it looked more like a piece of art than a breakfast dish. Naturally, my phone had to eat first. But once I finally took that first bite, I understood what all the hype was about. The lemon flavor was subtle, bright, and refreshing, while the poppy seeds baked into the waffle added both texture and depth. Honestly, it was one of the best waffles I've ever had. Every bite was delicious, and it's a dish I'll be thinking about long after this visit. If you're looking for a standout breakfast in a lively atmosphere, Two Hands is absolutely worth the stop.
