Upon entering it was a bit hard to tell who was waiting for a table and who was waiting on to go orders. I asked an employee and she instantly became rude. I believe her name was Tee. I asked if we could take the seats open along the counter (only seating for 2) she got nasty and let me know the seats go to next in line. Which I was. The others standing around had children and could not fit, where I was asking to sit . From that point on she assisted our server with our food drops and she was just rude. Unfortunately our food wasn't what we asked for but we just stopped to get a quick bite on the way to a track meet. We love Waffle House and always order the same items. This experience was one I would hope helps their staff become better with their customer experiences.

Next stop; the WAFFLE HOUSE!!!! So happy I passed by one of these on a mini road trip because it's been a minute and it was calling my name. The staff here is AMAZING & a VIBE!!! So friendly and welcoming plus remember me from last year lol. Quick service with a smile and laughter which fits my personality. I ordered a EGG & CHEESE MELT ON TEXAS TOAST... sooooo good, hot and delicious. Also, ordered a WAFFLE with CHOCOLATE CHIPS. Definitely did not disappoint at all and the butter melted oh so perfectly with the syrup. I was stuffed but satisfied beyond my eyes. I wish they had one close to the city but it's def a place to stop by EVERYTIME I pass one lol.

    Clean with very respectful patrons.

I am always a skeptic when I see less than 5 Stars. Just had a taste for pork chops and hash browns. The place was very clean and the staff professionally dressed. I was really expecting the social media drama associated with the brand. None of that! The only reason I did not give 5stars was the waiter I had seemed a little new and timid. Missed a few cues a seasoned server would have jumped on. It was kind of slow and the grill cook came by each table checking to see if they got it right. This never happens in the larger more popular breakfast chains. There was no overbearing music playing or chatter from behind the counter. I was pleased I gave it a try despite the stigma associated with their brand. I'll be back!

I haven't been to Waffle House in a really long time and man, it was sooo good! My partner and I got there at around noon on a Sunday and unsurprisingly, it was packed. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated and a waitress was taking names. There were a couple times when people were not respecting the wait. They would sit at tables that weren't cleaned or try to butt in front of others, however the staff was very attentive of this and shut it down immediately, making sure everything was clean and orderly. I ordered my usual: the All-Star special, but replaced the grits for hashbrowns. There are a bunch of different toppings you can put on the hashbrowns and in my case I got them covered (cheese), peppered (jalapeño), and capped (mushrooms). One really great thing about Waffle House is that it essentially caters to anything you want and has options for every one. My eggs were cheesy, hashbrowns and toast were crispy, and everything was hot! The only downsides were that the syrup dispensers were practically empty and there was no complimentary jelly with the toast, but neither of these things bothered me because each table was full and there was a line out the door and the staff was super busy.

This is a fast pace restaurant. The service was great and staff very friendly. Food is not gourmet but did its job.

Waffle House is a classic! It's only a few in MD, so going was a treat. I got the All Star Meal for old time sake and it SLAPPED (compliment)! Service was quick and honestly no complaints. The server we had was attentive and made sure we had what we asked for. The restaurant was pretty busy (as to be expected during breakfast hours), but tables came available pretty quickly and was cleaned fairly swiftly. Like any waffle house it was fairly noisy, but not unbearable. We were going to go back again the next day but decided not to. Lol. I wasn't mad at all.

A few months ago, I took my favorite little person here so he could experience the greatness that is Waffle House. We didn't have to wait too long and we sat at the counter for even more novelty. He had a great time watching the cooks and waitresses do their thing. When the food came, I thought he'd have trouble finishing a huge waffle all by himself. Yeah right! The service was actually awesome and they even gave him a little chef's hat to take home. We will definitely be back!

    Plastic coming from my sandwich.

This is already obvious but don't order to go from here and expect it to be right or edible. Sandwich we ordered had PLASTIC FILM from the cheese in it and they forgot our hash brown bowl. This is why I've only ever eaten here drunk, so I don't remember how terrible it was. Don't order to go from here...

And actually there was a table they just didn't want to take orders because they couldn't handle their job

Food is good attention its very bad I've been there 5 times and they take my order like 2 times they don't know how to handle their job I am very disappointed I will never come back

    So good

Delicious pecan waffles are so addictive. Friendly service. The restaurants could look nicer with renovation.

We went at 4:30pm on a Sunday night when it wasn't too busy. Our waiter was very nice and came frequently to our table to check on us and asking if we needed anything. You can also make reservations online. Since the restaurant is located in a mountain area, I had no reception or internet. All the dishes we had were pretty good. They start you with warm complementary bread with butter. The filet mignon was our favorite dish with soft meat and mashed potatoes. The sauce was a little sour to complement the meat. The linguini in the seafood linguine was cooked soft so it's good for little kids, but if you would like it more al dente, you'll probably have to let them know. There were 3 mussels, 2 scallops and several shrimp all cooked well. The green beans were cooked so they were still crunchy. Some of mine were a bit too undercooked for me. There as a good amount of meat in the veal and pork bolognese over pappardelle. The noodle were cooked well and long. The Maryland crab soup was part of the daily dinner special. Wish there was more crab in the Maryland crab soup since I saw a lot of vegetables. It was pretty spicy which wasn't noted on the menu. The crème brûlée was cooked very well. Crispy sugar top and creamy inside.

While the garlic sauce was generous and delicious, the quality of the mussels themselves was disappointing. They were all open, but they had that "off" taste associated with older seafood. * The Main: Things turned around completely with the pork tenderloin. It was cooked perfectly and paired with a very flavorful sauce. Highly recommended! * The Dessert: Finished with the coconut cake. It was incredibly moist--perhaps a touch too sweet for my personal preference, but tasty enough that I'd definitely order it again. Overall, a great find with just a minor hiccup on the seafood. We'll be back!

Started in their own homes, these two craft meals for fortunate souls who get the experience of great food, genuine humility, and free delivery. Our meal started off with edamame, which was lightly but appropriately seasoned (pepper is always a great addition). The beans popped easily from the pods and the flavor burst demonstrated a knowledge of exactly how these should be prepared. To complement that flavor, the next part of the meal was a delicious rice concoction heavy on spice yet balanced so each part of this dish was a star in itself! The determination to stay true to the taste was evident here, as the occasional extra pop of a small yet potent slice of pepper sent the tastebuds roaring. Simply "bangin'" was this moment of the entire meal. Pasta - who doesn't love the ever versatile pasta dish? Well, from non-vegetarians, let's just say we expected the norm and were set to be pleased but that was it. Well, what a surprise this penne dish was! So perfectly baked that we could have eaten it cold or hot! The vegetables were varied and plentiful, exquisitely matched so that nothing overpowered something else. Ever had that pasta that was so overcooked or oversauced that you couldn't finish it? This wasn't that! Exactly the right amount of everything...and full of nutrients! The portion was so huge that we'll be eating it for days, and for that we are especially grateful! Dessert - you thought they'd forget as some places do, but no, to finish we enjoyed a cake in the shape of a castle. Yes, a castle! It was complete with a homemade frosting whipped to be so light that you could eat it by itself OR with the berries (smart twist to add a little sour with the sweet). We admit we consumed some of this prior to putting it on plates as civilized humans do. It was just that refreshing on this hottest of summer days. After waiting a bit, we noshed on the final part of the meal. The gentlemen included some adorable little cookies that were crisp on the outside and held inside a nice dose of chocolate. The perfect end to the best of meals.
