I stopped by here on my way home from work on 4/19/22 as it was a "fend for self" type of day for dinner. I had been craving Waffle House, so I decided to stop on by. There was only 1 couple in the restaurant, so it wasn't busy at all. I was able to Waitress said they got new menu a few months ago and will be getting another soon. She added that they get new menus often and the prices go up. I ordered my food around 7:52pm and they started working on it pronto. I ordered my usual, Texas bacon cheesesteak melt (onions included) with regular hashbrowns and a sweet tea. Tabby said the tea was a fresh batch. It wasn't bad, but wasn't sweet enough for me haha. I added some sugar that was on the table and it was good to go! My food was ready around 7:56pm. My food was tasty and definitely satisfied my craving! You ever had over cooked hashbrowns?? Ew! These were definitely not it as they were cooked to perfection. My waitress was Tabby, per name badge. She, along with the female cook (Sandria), we're really sweet and friendly. When it picked up a little bit, I watched Sandria change her globes frequently and helped out Tabby when people started. It was great to see teamwork! After I finished eating, I had to use the restroom. I must admit that the restroom smelled funny... almost like dirty mop water BUT it was clean, nonetheless, for Waffle House. Overall, pretty good experience. If I wasn't playing games on my phone, I would've been in and out in 25 or less minutes. There is a jukebox by the window if anyone wants to listen to their favorite tunes. No issues or complaints for this visit. One suggestion (as if any manager is reading this, would be to have a way to utilize coupons without printing them off. Let me start by saying I absolutely love waffle House. It's definitely one of my favorite breakfast places. Unfortunately this Sunday morning, I had a negative experience. It was rainy, cold, and early and my husband and I decided it would be a great time to go get WH and beat the breakfast rush. When we walked in, a very lackluster service member told us sit anywhere. We picked a nice booth in the front. I think we were there for 10 minutes and nobody acknowledged us. Nobody brought us a menu, nobody spoke to us, no drinks, nothing. My husband and I tried to pull up the menu on our phone and continued waiting for somebody to help us. Nothing. After waiting there and being ignored the whole time, we left and went down the street to Route 66 Kernersville Diner instead and had excellent service and food. Don't go here. Went there back to back nights. Night 1 ordered a Texas bacon and egg sandwich meal for $8.45 and $5.25 sandwich It was around $18 and some change, tonight I ordered the latter and it was $15 and some change. We haven't been to this Waffle House in several months, so we decided to go for breakfast this morning. The quality of the food has changed soooo much, and not for the better. We ordered hash browns, pecan waffle, ham and cheese omelet and sausage. The first time the omelet came out, I was trying to figure out what the heck it was! It's like they took a pan full of grease and then let it start to burn, then put the eggs in and cooked it. It didn't even look like an omelet! I asked for a different one, and when this one came out, it looked better, but then there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the plate. I had to use a bunch of napkins to soak the grease up, but then it kept leaking out of it!! When I cut into it, grease just oozed out of it... needless to say, no omelet was eaten, pecan waffle was under cooked and a bit doughy in the middle, so only a few bites were had. The only things that were edible were the hash browns and the sausage. I definitely think we are done with this particular Waffle House. read more

For a while, Waffle House has been providing decent breakfast food for 3rd shift professionals, truckers and those nursing a hangover. It's always a good meal at a good price. They are known for waffles and their hash browns - not chicken salad. The five star review is for this visit... And no different than other times we've eaten here, my wife and I had a good breakfast. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was diner clean. The food was cooked as ordered and delivered quickly. We both had the big breakfast (I forget the name) and really enjoyed it. Although the price has gone up over the years, it's still just as affordable. Typically this is the place I recommend to someone who wants a quick and cheap diner breakfast. This is the worse Waffle House I have ever been to and they are always my go to place for breakfast as I travel a lot. Service might possibly be the worse of any where I have ever been except Denny's on Post Rd. Indianapolis. Three mornings in a row and eggs ordered over medium, all three times raw not to mention COLD why because the cook makes the eggs right off the bat then does the bacon, on average 20 minutes from order to table. I ordered the biscuits and gravy but the sausage was undercooked and red and the gravy was so salty like someone dumped the whole salt shaker in there.
