Excellent service and food give them a bump in pay! The crew was having fun and so were we.

Maurice was very nice she gave us good food and told us good luck when going to the restroom Lauren was sitting behind us and didn't give us a hassle. Overall the eggs were definitely the best part the bacon had a mind of its own The set up was sturdy and useful. In conclusion I now understand why they call it Waffle House

We had not been to a Waffle House in several years so since we were in Key Largo for 4 days, we decided to get breakfast there for 2 mornings of our stay. I called in the order and it was ready when I got there, all packed and ready to go. Easy Peasy! Parking was a breeze as they have their own parking lot. The cashier was super nice. The first morning we ordered the eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, and split a waffle. It was very good! The second morning we ordered eggs, ham steak and hashbrowns and split a waffle. Very simple. Stuff we don't eat at home. It tasted very good. We had a very good experience here on our vacation! Will be back next trip.

Hell yea! Haven't been to a Waffle House in years. Server Thalie was so nice; seems to be the trend in Key Largo. Food was plentiful and cheap. Restaurant was clean and they play music. Where else can you feed three people for less than $40?

The service was great, price was great, portion size was huge -- quality food and cleanliness was not so great.

Best Waffle House I've ever been to! I don't usually love it but my boyfriend has been to every Waffle House in every state there is one. I had the All-Star Special with cheesy onion hash browns. My waffle was THE BEST! I love the Waffle House logo imprinted in my waffle. My eggs were scrambled and everything was cooked perfectly! Our server Terence was awesome. Super helpful and quick, and even played great music on the jukebox! The cook was quick too and checked in on our food to make sure we liked our food. For sure we'll go back again! Thanks Waffle House peeps!

I honestly forgot to take a picture of my food because it was that good! I ordered a double hash brown with cheese and a side of bacon. I asked for the bacon to be super crispy and the server was kind enough to cook the bacon, come to my table and ask if it was good enough and if not she would cook it longer. I was super impressed with how quick our food came out! It's definitely a local spot you can't go wrong with.

Waffle House in Key Largo never disappoints. There may be a small wait at times but the food and service is typically great. Really enjoyed my usual sausage, egg and cheese biscuit.

My first time eating Waffle House, I was super surprised by the insane value ($5.00 including tax for a huge plate of hash browns, four slices of butter, toast, and eggs + $0.50/ea for add-ons). Staff was fast, professional, and friendly. They even fulfilled my request of peanut butter chunks on the side (instead of a waffle add-on). My friends: "Most Waffle House Waffle House I've ever been in." "The food actually tasted good. I did not expect that part." Hash browns - I ate a lot refrigerated hash browns from Walmart as a kid, and this was both tastier and there was more of it. Peanut butter chunks -- yummy add-on. I love peanut butter and they gave me a few tablespoons of small delicious nuggets. This made me very happy. Eggs (over easy) -- Two eggs, fairly standard and good quality. Toast - triangular slices with a dab of butter lining the side. Good balance of butteriness, softness, and crispiness. Ambience - 8/10 -- A janky diner. Good bathrooms cleaner than a gas station. A working jukebox which we greatly enjoyed. Booths sensibly laid out for efficient serving. I'm a fan of streamlined, well-lit, no-frills dining areas, and this is a logistical pleasure to be in. As pleasing as a cafe, just less fancy. Quality - 7/10 -- Quite unhealthy and simple, but surprisingly tasty! Service - 8/10 -- Professional staff. Offered us water refills periodically. They did forget one of our chocolate chip waffles, but no big deal. I admittedly haven't gone to a diner in a looong time (first time in Florida actually!) but service here definitely parallels $$+ restaurants I've been to. Value - 11/10 -- absurd amount of food, very American Overall - 9/10 -- cheap fare, cheap thrills. It's the little things in life you appreciate on a long road trip. We pulled up in a rented Mustang, came to Waffle House for memes, and came away happy and delighted. I was tempted to give 4-stars on Yelp due to the cheap fare, but this place really deserves better because we have real appreciation. Our gratitude! (we were moved to tip an unprecedented 30%). A 5-star experience!

Here's Katie for you guys on her phone! Hope she makes your food better than mine !!! :)

Worst Waffle House to ever exist! Not sure if Katie is a manager or cook but she is the rudest most disrespectful smelliest lady to work in the food industry. On top of the fact that I was nice enough to still eat there after the disrespect within the first five mins, she took forever to make my food that I believe she was doing on purpose to make matters worse. She was also on her phone while making my food. I believe corporate/district managers should really train this specific lady correctly and make her aware of her attitude and behavior.

We kept it simple with coffee, waffles, and scrambled eggs both days, but we were tempted by the grits and hash browns, too.

Update: went back on last day - just as good. Our son got the same meal (country breakfast); I went a little off menu and elected to have chorizo on the side rather than bacon/sausage. It was different that expected; I thought it would be like a sausage whereas it was more like chile. It worked really well on my eggs and mixed in with my home fries.

The prices on the menu are pretty reasonable. I was going to order the bagel and lox for $16 but then I saw that the lobster Benedict was also $16, so I ordered that instead. I was disappointed though because the "hash browns" on the side were not the homemade kind, but a frozen deep fried cake. I was also disappointed to find that the "lobster" was actually a breaded deep fried mixture, like a crab cake. I intentionally did not order the crab cake Benedict because I don't like that kind of thing. My daughter ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and Swiss cheese. It was good, and pretty big, so she could barely eat half of it. There is a nice view of the water from the restaurant. The parking lot is pretty small. I'd probably try a different restaurant if I'm back in the area.

It came with a pineapple-based sauce that worked really well with it, and the other sauces on the side had a nice mild kick without going overboard. If you go, start here. The calamari was light and crunchy, which is exactly how it should be. Nothing flashy, just solid execution with a standard marinara on the side. I asked for a piña colada and got something closer to a mango daiquiri hybrid. Honestly, I did not care. It tasted good and I am easy when the drink works. The fries that came with the Caesar wrap were crunchy, warm, and had some seasoning on them. Came with ketchup. No complaints. The teriyaki wings were crunchy and cooked well, but the sauce was not my style. It felt like it was just poured on top rather than worked into the meat. If you have ever had spare rib tips from a New York Chinese spot where they cook the meat right and then just ladle sauce over it at the end, you know what I mean. I prefer the sauce to be part of the experience, not an afterthought. The Caesar wrap was fine. I consider myself something of a Caesar salad critic, and this one was basic. Not bad, not memorable, just standard. The wrap itself held up though. Gus's Grille is a solid spot. Come for the crabcake and let everything else be a pleasant bonus.
