They had a guy who was suppose to be monitoring the door as a host however he was young and you can tell he really didn't want to be there. When we finally did get seated I asked him for a menu and he acted like I asked him to take my order. Now, all of this changed when Ms. Brenda, our server came to the table. First off she took a moment to sweep under the table - what the host was suppose to do - as there was dropped food beneath us. She took our order, made sure we had everything we needed and took care of us . . . However Ms. Brenda said she's been with WH for 40 years and she loves her customers. So if you can get Ms. Brenda to serve you, you will be taken care of and she will make sure you get what you ordered. read more

I literally just came from up there! they were so nice. everybody was friendly. however extremely incompetent and inefficient. they waited thirty minutes to start making a Togo order and when they finished they didn't get my order even half right. no cheese in my eggs, and left my drink out in a 50$ order. i talked about the cheese several times and they asked several times, and still forgot the cheese. the fact they made a big deal and charged me for it is amazingly disrespectful. My girlfriend and I placed an order online but didn't know the order would take 50 minutes. There was no way to cancel it on Sunday with corporate being closed. I walked in the restaurant and spoke to Tassi. She took care of my order in 7 minutes and provided exceptional service. I would give this place 0 stars but yelp is way too nice and makes you give one. Vida was our waitress and my 5 year old heard "Shit" and "Damnit" when she was cleaning the spot next to us at the counter and then heard "son of a bitch" when she burnt her arm washing dishes. As you can see my hash browns that were supposed to be covered were far from covered. The bacon was burnt and the cook was using his hands , that had plastic gloves on them, to move eggs around as he was cooking them. Yes Waffle House. I have been a fan of this chain since my husband and I first visited one while we were visiting good friend in Beavercreek, OH. Simple good ole diner cafe. Reasonable price and good food. How can you go wrong there. We've visited this location twice since it's right around corner from our house. Last time we went I ordered Chicken melt and my husband ordered hamburger and side order eggs. It was both good. I was pleasantly surprised with their Chicken melt. full of flavors. Unlike the bland ones that I got in the past from different restaurants. All I know is they need to put one in Southern California. They will definitely do well. read more

I always feel like a part of the family whenever I come here. The wait/cook-staff are always friendly and cracking jokes whenever I visit. My family and I are regulars so maybe that factors into the service we experience but overall this is a great location and food. I always get the all-star special. Super yummy! Worst experience ever!!! I'm from California, customer service is big! We tip big , and love and expect good service! I had seen and heard so much about "Waffle House" and was excited about trying it for the first time. My Fiancé took me to this location, first bad sign was the stench! We walked in, and it smelled like they had mopped with a dirty mop, our table was sticky and there was old food on the table menu! Then no one greeted us when we walked in. By far the best Waffle House experience I had in a very long time! They had old R&B music playing on the jukebox. The waitress was kind and everything was on time. The food was good and looked like it was prepared the correct way. I wish I would've took a picture. I ordered grits and they were not too runny or dry they were just right with the right amount of butter. The waitress was also very prompt when refilling our drinks. read more

This being my first time going to the Waffle House, I have to say I am impressed. When we first arrived here, two girls said "welcome" and then a couple of the cooks said "welcome". It was a loud yet nice way to be greeted. I had the Texas bacon melt special and my wife the grilled chicken breakfast meal. I was impressed with the taste of those two dishes. The seasoning on the chicken was very good. We also ordered one waffle to share. I tried the waffle without any butter or syrup first to really taste it. Very impressive! I liked the taste a lot. The only negative, this is a smoking restaurant. I don't have a problem with those who smoke, but I do not like the smoke indoors, so that was a downer for me personally. I hope the food quality at other Waffle House location is as good as it was on this one. I am a fan! read more

I had a horrible experience at this location the other day. It was a morning when I went out to get a bite to eat. During the time I was thinking of going to IHop down the street of WH,I should of went! I order a waffle but it never came but it took a while and then our drinks came. My girlfriend ordered orange juice but he never asked me what I wanted so he brought me the same thing. When he came back I corrected him and got a hot chocolate.
