Let's be honest, you don't come here because it's the cleanest place on earth, you come because the food hits the spot. Our server was so kind, kept our drinks full the whole time, and even sent us off with to-go cups for the ride home. I went with my usual order: a well-done waffle, well-done bacon, and hashbrowns smothered, covered, chunked, peppered, and country. The waffle could have used a little more time in the iron, but the bacon was absolute perfection, and the hashbrowns were exactly what I was craving. We chatted with some locals about the Huskers' big win at Arrowhead the night before, and everyone was so welcoming. True, I did stick to the floor a bit thanks to some mystery syrup on my shoe, even though I didn't use syrup, but honestly that just feels like part of the Waffle House experience. A very decent Waffle House. My family comes here a few times a month - my toddler loves to look outside and watch the cars while practicing restaurant etiquette (screen free lol) and the people are always nice. The staff and service is generally ok - I think half the time we go it seems some people act like they don't want to work but as soon as they step up to the table to take our order are really nice to us. My only thing is I always ask for burnt hashbrowns but they never do anything to darken them. I eventually stopped ordering them lol it's a 10% chance they get it right and I got tired sending them back to be cooked more lol! read more

Well, this was my first time trying Waffle House ever - and it was pretty below average. The waffles were by far the best part of the meal, and the rest of the meal was just okay (eggs bacon toast). Waffle House doesn't do omelets which was disappointing but to be expected I guess. Service was very slow, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking, I wouldn't recommend with all the better breakfast options, but I guess I wouldn't mind returning as a last resort option. read more

I had insomnia, one night and rolled in here about four in the morning. Denise took excellent care of me. I enjoyed the all American breakfast with two eggs, sausage, a waffle and toast. Oh my gosh, I can't forget the hashbrowns! I chose mine to be chunks, diced and peppered. I opted not to have them covered as usual. I also ordered a blueberry waffle, which wasn't terribly great. Everything else was very delicious including the hot, well-made coffee. I will down here in the future when I'm in the mood. And not looking to spend much money. Just a note they have raise their prices, which is not uncommon these days due to inflation or price gouging; I'm not sure which. But they did have a giant basket of eggs above the grill. Service - We ordered a Sr Meal, 1 egg, grits and coffee, a waffle and has browns w/gravy. We got one cup of coffee, no refill. We had to ask for creamer twice. Then she brought a handful and threw them on the table. When we got our food, she forgot the waffle and we didn't get any gravy either. We couldn't get her attention and she didn't check on us until my husband was done with his meal. For all the trouble all she did was not charge us for the food we didn't get. So I was hungry and visiting the hospital across the street and this was the closes breakfast place. Plus I didn't feel much like hospital cafeteria food so Waffle House it is. First impression wasn't bad. Restaurant was clean and I appreciated seeing a clean kitchen because I have been to some sketchy ones. I sat at the bar and was serviced immediately. I ordered the peanut butter waffle and a side of eggs. Order was on the table in less than 10minutes. Fit my needs for the time. Really I have no complaints but I do hate those plastic cups. They never quite look clean to me. Anyway it wasn't a bad experience. Service was great. Our server was super friendly. I eat out at breakfast spots 1-2 times a year. I got the all star breakfast so I could get a little bit of everything. The server was great with recommendations. I ended up switching the grits for hash browns and I added chocolate and peanut butter to my waffle for a Reece's waffle. Our food came out fast. Does any Waffle House deserve better than two stars? Not Really. These aren't even waffles, it's pancake batter poured into a waffle iron. It's a greasy choke and puke. Great greasy spoon for breakfast. Salad was good, eggs, chocolate chip waffle , biscuits and gravy. I am not fond of the hash browns or steak. The meats are of the lowest quality cuts to keep the price low and the bread used for the sandwich melts is just a nice quality wonder bread. For the cheap price you can get a lot! It has been well over five years since I have eaten at a Waffle House. It was Saturday morning this past Memorial Day weekend and I wanted breakfast. I thought it might be fun to give the Lee's Summit Waffle House a try and I was very impressed with my breakfast. I had one of the combo meals: The raisin toast, scrambled eggs and cheese (which were perfect), THREE slices of bacon, and grits. The coffee was good and hot too. The only thing that would have given this meal and experience a 5 was if REAL BUTTER would have been served rather than margarine. I will be back. Ok, this was one of the worst Waffle House experiences I've ever had-based solely of the cook. our poor server, I didn't catch her name, but there were dishes piled all over the place-literally, most tables, stacked all over the counter, she was running 4+ tables, with a smile and cooking half the food...after we received our food, the lazy slob of a cook sat at the counter watching videos on his phone while she fixed the food that he put out cold, ignoring her when she told him that our food wasn't right. when I asked her why he wasn't helping she said because the cooks aren't responsible for helping. I've been to dozens of Waffle Houses across the country and what I saw from this one cook was the worst I've ever seen in any food establishment ever...I work in the service industry, and I know that we left her feeling appreciated but the cook that worked 2/22/2024 at 3am should be fired. read more

Having overslept and missed the free breakfast at our hotel, we were desperately hoping something was open on XMAS Day. Enter the Waffle house next door. Thankfully, they were open. I frequent this Waffle House on occasion but todays visit was not one of the good ones! If you want to be inundated with music blaring from their system go here. I asked the waitress to tone it down a bit and she did. Only a bit! One gets the feeling that the music is for the employees certainly not the customers. Just finished eating here. I had the All-Star Breakfast with basted eggs, bacon, wheat toast and tomatoes. My waffle was epic. EPIC. I loved it. Everything else was really good. I knocked off a star only because my seat was slightly uncomfortable. Could have just been my big butt. I would say for a diner type of place, it's relatively clean. Saw them mopping and squee-gee-ing the floor. The menu felt a like it had once had syrup on it that had been cleaned off.
