The owner and staff are always pleasant, deliver your food to your table, and actually care who their patrons are! I think that sets them apart from other coffee places - this is where you become a regular. The history behind the storefront is also very intriguing and retained throughout. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. I ordered the Whisky and onion smash burger on a gluten free bun and it was so good I tried to replicate the topping with what I had back at the Airbnb we were staying at. When I get home I'll check out the ingredients better and give it another try. I had a side of green beans nicely seasoned with bacon as my side. My husband, bless his heart, ordered the honey pecan chicken salad sandwich on gluten free bread so I could taste it. It was also delicious and he had a side of home fries to die for. We would definitely come back and try more of their menu if in the area again.
