Really easy to find, just look for the bright yellow sign out front. Parking is easy with a lot of spaces and easy access to the entrance door. Walking in we were greeted and told to sit anywhere. There were only two open booths so we grabbed the one along the side near the bathrooms. The first thing we all noticed was it was quite loud. The servers were all talking over on another and having lively discussions, which by itself is fine, but they were shouting across the entire dining area. While it's great to see employees enjoy working together it definitely made conversation at the table a bit difficult, especially when someone comes out from the back shouting to someone across the dining area. This continued the entire time we were there. While maybe not normally a problem this can be distressing for those with sensory issues, so be aware. Otherwise, the experience was typical for a Waffle House. The service was friendly and fast, the food came out quickly and as ordered, and the coffee cup was never empty. We've never tried Waffle House since we don't have them where we live. Figure we'd try it. Our expectations was low because we heard stories. However, it excited our expectations. Waffle House is absolutely my favorite breakfast food restaurant! I live in the Chattanooga, TN area, but I always drop just below the state line to Fort Oglethorpe, GA, to the one on Battlefield Parkway right next to the CVS pharmacy. It is the best one in the Chattanooga area and the only one I frequent. My girls Makayla, Larissa, Roo and Chasity always take care of us! They are the best! And they're very pleasant to look at! I work EMS and my partner and I go there every shift. There are regulars in there I talk to every time I'm there. The atmosphere is one of delightful conversation between customers and with the staff alike! If you live in this area and you like Waffle House, you will want to make this one your home location! Not sure why this store is rated so low. This has got to be one of the better stores I was in. I eat Waffle house every where I travel. This staff was great. Quick t get me a drink, quick to get my order and it wasn't even my waitress. They worked together as a team to make sure everyone in the store was being treated well. I would just like to say thank you so much to the lady working behind the counter tonight my roommate went there after he went to the bank and brought us something home to eat and I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted so I wanted everything I could have steak and eggs with hash browns and I wanted biscuits and gravy instead of toast but what she didn't know is I'm stuck in the hospital bed now I haven't sit up to eat I sit up on my left side as much as I can and it's usually cuz it's propped up with pillows so it really makes it hard to cut my food up and she cut up everything she cut up my biscuits even for the gravy and she cut up my steak it is just made everything so much easier and convenient for me everything is really delicious read more

To say i was disappointed is putting it mildly! Although the food was quite good, I couldn"t get a refill of water to save my life! I held up the glass multiple times and the waitress just went on like she didn"t hear me. 100 degrees outside and we're trying to stay hydrated but our server obviously didn't care. I could hear her asking every other diner but us which I didn't appreciate. My money spends just as well as the next one. I started to go get my own water but I knew that would be a problem! if you dont have enough servers then you should shut the doors. came in and place was packed. after sitting down realized there was only one server. Sat there for 20 minutes then another family walked out. A few minutes later two more people walked in and sat down. The server went over to them and took their drink order. I eat at this Waffle House pretty often and never have I had a worse experience. We weren't greeted at all, instead we got a "sit down over there". I asked for an OJ and revived a chocolate milk. The food came out nice that wasn't the issue. The issue was our server. Not once did we get checked on after we got the food, and she's not even the one that ran it. The cook did. This place needs a complete overhaul, from the building, the equipment, the staff and the food! First off, the ceiling above the grill area is falling in. It is patched with a piece of cardboard, but what's worse, it is also leaking water down on the grill and refrigeration units. The interior as well as the exterior needs a complete cleaning. A guy was there washing windows today, but clean windows cannot overcome a filthy entrance, floors and restrooms. The grill itself was caked over in grease, and appears to not be cleaned in months, Grease is even dripping from the exhaust vents located above the grill. The refrigeration area is in dire need of cleaning and quality control. Several bins of food are left uncovered in the refrigeration units. One staff member was preparing chili by mixing old chili with the ingredients for new chili. As for the food today, I had ordered a BLT with cheese, and hash browns, scattered, covered & smothered. The cook, took the bacon and cut the ends of it off to make the bacon fit the sandwich, never putting all the bacon on the sandwich. The lettuce had hard white pieces that had brown edges. The hash browns were only cooked on one side, not the other. had the raw taste to them. 9 employees just standing around, nothing cleaned, this is in need of a total rehab!!! read more

Me and my mother have been eating here every Saturday or Friday night for the last year and every time is great but tonight was truly perfect. The have received a new employee Chris whom me and my mother find cooks the waffles perfectly. He cooks them to a nice brown in the center without frying the outer edges. And the eggs were perfectly cooked and scrambled. All in all it was a perfect night. The last time I was in there,it was the wee hours of the morning,the food was OK,the only customer in there was me,there was only one person working in there,a guy.
