First Watch was a place I hadn't been to yet so we gave it a try. We arrived around noon but it was barely half full at that time. We were seated quickly but unfortunately we sat there for quite a while before a waitress finally showed up. Seating was good. Lots of half booth/table and chairs. On to the food! We ordered the million dollar bacon to go with our french toast with a berry compote and the biscuits with turkey sausage gravy and eggs. The bacon was amazing! Sweet with a bit of spice to it. My challah bread french toast was good but not as custardy as I'm used to with french toast. The berry compote was great with it. We were given a warm bottle of syrup to use which I love but I wish the bottle was clean before being put in front of me. There was a buttery smug probably from the last users. Mom's eggs and biscuit was great according to her. Food was ten outta ten but the service was slow to non-existent. If it had been a full house I shudder to think how long a wait you may get for service but then again it might have been a fluke. Either way the food was delicious.

Went with crispy as they were crispy on top and soft underneath. Yum, yum and dragged them through my two over medium eggs. Eight grain toast topped it all off, along with nicely strong black coffee ($3.69). Have to mention that the two restrooms, I checked both, were spotlessly clean. There was not an empty table for lunch and we had a quick wait of maybe ten minutes before we were seated. Even though it was 12 noon, I wanted breakfast which is served all day. I ordered the Southern Sunrise Breakfast and was not disappointed at all. I got with two fried chicken tenders with sausage gravy, grits, two fried eggs and a biscuit. The plate was full and I ended up not eating the biscuit. It tasted very good. I was very happy and look forward to my next time there where I plan to get the same thing, The staff was friendly and attentive, and the place was very clean.

Our waitress came to our table and asked what are you drinking? She brought our drinks to the table. Then left, came back a few more minutes and asked if we were ready to order. We placed our order. Might I add it really wasn't busy at the time and the food doesn't take very long to deliver. After we were waiting, a table of nine came in and sat down. They placed their order. Our waitress did come by a few minutes later and drop two pitchers off of drinks for our refills but after this we didn't see her again. The table of nine received their food. At this point we had been waiting for about thirty minutes. I asked a different waitress at this time if she could check on order as it had been a bit since we placed ours. She acknowledged this and went to find our waitress. The other waitress we asked to check on our food then came back asking what we had ordered. Ready to take our order again. I got up and came around the corner to find our waitress going through the tickets at the register. That's when she proceeds to say that she can't find our ticket. That she handed it off to the kitchen but the kitchen didn't have the ticket. I asked her two questions. How did she lose the ticket and how does she not check on her tables? She pushed the blame to everyone else and never offered to make it right. That's when we decided to leave and not wait any longer. When we came back around the corner our old waitress asked the other waitress what we were doing and she said they're leaving. The initial waitress then shrugged her shoulders at us. I asked for a manager and then was told they wouldn't do anything. The service here is awful. I have been coming for years. Unfortunately the waitresses do not care to check on your table nor your order. We just waited over thirty minute for our order that never came. People came in behind us only to get their food. The waitress told me she couldn't find our ticket. No offers to make things right. Told me don't bother talking with a manager because she had been there for thirty years and he would do nothing about it. Wow! Let down.
