Incredibly disappointing to see how the quality has slipped in this restaurant under the new management a.k.a. Keisha. She accidentally added cheese onto the burger and rather than be starting another just took the piece of cheese off and threw the meat back on the grill. This is an issue for two reasons one the food had already gone up to the table and she put it back on the grill. (that's a health code violation). And another thing if someone had a dairy allergy, that would be a trip to the ER. Oh well just becareful when dining here and Shes at the grill. read more

Sooo this has been my go to WH... But boy has it changed. The night crew with Daniel and his staff are EXCELLENT. But this day shift.. especially this older lady is horrible. She's being rude to the staff in front of customers. Not to mention they are not very crowded. However my food was good it came out quickly but the service is not good at all. They are fully staffed and still have people sitting that hasn't been served. I didn't even get a greeting when I came in the door. But Daniel WHERE are you?? I can definitely tell this is not your shift. Let me not forget to mention Ed my server. He was great and tried to be efficient but the ladies seem to run over him and talk to him like he's a child. The last couple of times that I've been here my waffle has been a tad bit too crunchy, but I guess people like them that way (I'm just not 1 of those people)!? With franchises it's about the customer service and cleanliness of the location. For a diner experience this joint fit the Bill! First, we got a pleasant greeting, coffee quick, hot breakfast, by a very sweet lady who I'd felt I'd known all of my life. We sat near the counter, she was nearby & if we asked for anything no sooner were the words out of our mouths & the item was on our table! We never had to request a coffee refill as you do in some restaurants! I had scrambled eggs & a biscuit & gravy & was very pleased. Breakfast here is very affordable. If you don't have your nose up in the air & expect the world to be handed to you on a silver platter this is a good down home hot breakfast place with a smile! Probably shouldn't be reviewing a Waffle House but this is my go to Waffle House. Danny kills the skillet but there is a early 60s aged African American waitress that is the absolute worst. Never that busy and have gotten to know the cooks that work here. They used to make the best cheesy eggs. Really pleasant visit. Met my mom for breakfast and she frequents this location. The server was Miss Shirley. She is a pure doll. A kind spirit and just the auntie/granny that everyone wants. I like Waffle House, also known as WAHO. They're open 24/7 rain or shine. If you're hungry on Christmas Day, and you have no family or friends, Waffle House is the place to go. Or when you're done partying late at night and feel hungry, Waffle House is the place to go. Some Waffle Houses are off of highways. I guess it's a strategic move by Waffle House Corporate to cater to the road trippers late at night. This one isn't. I'm happy because I live far away from the highway as possible. So this Waffle House is one of the closer one to my house. There is a Waffle House closer to my house, but I never been there. This one seems cleaner. They have a big parking lot. But even still, it gets packed. This, like all other Waffle Houses, are popular places. They serve waffles, eggs, grits, hash browns, and other breakfast items. If you want Pancakes, go to IHOP. This is where you go for waffles. They also have sandwiches, steaks, and other non-breakfast items. Everything on the menu seem cheap. So it's a great, frugal meal. Sometimes, I feel the people here are disorganized. Even when it's not busy, it takes a while to get my orders. Maybe it was just the people at the shift that day. One of my favourite Waffle Houses in the area. I moved to Cobb County a year ago, and the closest Waffle House to me on S Cobb Dr and Concord, and after a visit after my late night shift, I knew I needed to find a better Waffle House. This one is right next to IBM Credit Union, which is where I would deposit my checks. I started enjoying trips to the bank to deposit checks, because it gave me a good excuse to eat at this Waffle House. Overall great service, and great food. This waffle is normally so good but this day I don't know what happened. They ran out of burgers, they fixed none of our food the correct way and most of our food was burned. And their was a friend on the counter top if you get my drift. I have emailed them but no response yet for the awful service. I was really disappointed b/c I had been here plenty of times before but this was to bad. I'm crossing this WH off my list. It used to be one of the better ones, but after today, I'm done. I'm particular about my eggs. I like them poached hard because it makes it easy for me to separate the white from the yolk and just eat the white. They never cook my eggs long enough and the yolk is always liquid. I asked for cream when the waitress refilled my coffee. I didn't get it, I then asked for a to go cup for my coffee, I never got it. It was just one thing after the other and I just was not happy with the experience. I expect this kind of service when it is busy, but it wasn't and they had more than adequate staff to take care of the customers. It just didn't work out that way. read more

My last day on my first visit to Georgia and the Waffle House. I really wanted to give it 4 stars because during my weeklong stay in Atlanta, this was my first experience of southern hospitality. Had a really late breakfast at this Waffle House and am wondering what is going on .. Skipped the Mableton highway location because that place is filthy, skipped Thornton road because service and food sucks, staff do not wash hands and have witnessed them outside with aprons on sitting on the curb smoking so those are out ... Won't do the WH on six flags drive because that one is more filthy than the Mableton road location .. So we took a little drive and ended up at this one. The food was great but the service just sucked. We were ready to order when the waitperson took our coffee order then she disappeared. We had to ask another server to find ours so we could order and that was a bit over a 5 minute wait. The food came out as plates were put up and she needed a reminder for the requested grilled onions and jalapeños on the chili. My coffee was refilled without offering or adding any creamers so my guess is is that stock is running low. This location is not busy and there are two booths with food on the table plus our finished plates and three people behind the counter our server being one of them. She is standing there jammer jawing with the guy whose hands are in the sink, the cook is on his cell phone above the sandwich make up table and the other three have disappeared into the back. So, there you have it its either filthy or crappy and unhealthy service or both. Waffle Houses vary depending on management and staff, but this one has typically offered competent attentive staff, prompt service, and clean and tidy conditions. There are probably 3 or 4 other Waffle Houses as close or closer for me when I go to this one, but I pick this one because it usually offers the best service and conditions. 4 stars because this Waffle House is good at providing what Waffle House fans want, not because it offers a Zagat rated dining experience. read more

This is our closest Waffle House. We have been coming here for years, and consistently receive poor to crazy bad service when it is moderately busy. On a weekend morning we can plan on our order being wrong, cold or late. I would rate the food and service a 3 star if ya show up when it's slow. The service here was terrible. It took us 45 minutes to get seated and another 30 just to get our drinks. They sat people on front of us who got there after we did.
