I mean it's Waffle House. It's one of the newer cleaner waffle houses. So you really can't complain. They get a bad rep for always being the space for fights lol so much that I saw there is a petition to have a Waffle House location entered into TEKKEN as a stage lmbo. Anyway the food more the bacon is so good. I low key only come for the bacon and everything else on the all star is a side haha. But never thought I'd be dropping $30 For two people.

Rushed waffle after 25 mins wait to be acknowledged

I loved this location so much i would drive past the 1960 location just to come here for the best waffles and never had an issue with service. Today my little 3 yr old and i sat for about 25+ mins at a table without being acknowledged. We saw about 3 pairs of customers come in and leave due to the empty seats still not being cleaned while they waited over 5 mins to be acknowledged. I understand it gets busy at 11am on a Saturday but 25+ mins with a lil one that keeps saying "im hungry" and we get glances from the employees but still no one even asked for our drinks is ridiculous.... I hope to come back and this was one of those "bad days" that wouldnt happen again. Waffle didnt even look like a waffle either.. at this point i dont recognize this place like its always been!

Me and my friends went here at around 9:30pm on a Saturday and it was a great experience. The restaurant was clean, the staff was really nice, and the food was delicious. I have no complaints. I got the texas sausage, egg, and cheese melt, and my friends got the all star breakfast and the cheesesteak melt hash brown bowl. All of the food was delicious and so cheap! I was really impressed with Waffle House for the food and the price. The waitstaff at this Waffle House was amazing. It was a little busy, but the waiter still made sure we had a great experience and was kind + talkative. The manager checked on us as well. The actual restaurant was well lit and really clean. The booths were nice. I have no complaints. I would definitely go here again! Water rating 4/10. Good

Came back for lunch. Arrived before 11 am. Place is still packed like the first time. My server Meagan is very sweet and attentive. Got my order in quickly and processed well. Ordered Texas bacon egg and cheese Melt with hash brown scattered well with American cheese on top. Food tastes very well. The cooks are well trained. Got my food in less than 10 minutes. the sandwich is still steaming when it hits my table. Love it! My waitress checked on me occasionally to make sure I'm taken care of. Will be back and recommend to my neighbor. Good job management

Waffle house, you know what it is. So good American breakfast food. May not be the best for you but it's so so good. I have a sausage egg and cheese hash brown bowl. I topped with chili, it's one of my favorites. First class

Dinner type environment always full for a brand new location... I think the place could double in size and still have a wait. Plates were spot on on good and plenty.. price is below the market value for the area. Service was great. If there is anything thing keeping this from 5 stars, it would be the packness of the restaurant and cleanliness... With the volume, keeping up with the tables and floors is a team job.

Brand new, and very busy. As the newest 24hr offering in the area, they get packed very quickly. Add to that three fact that the seating capacity is very limited (it's not very big on the inside), and you just might have a wait on a Friday night after the high school game is over. But the staff is wonderful - friendly and efficient- so that when you do get a table, you'll have a wonderful experience. My husband had steak and eggs, and the steak was great. My only negative: the coffee tastes almost like tea. Not a deal breaker, and I'm sure it'll get better as time goes on.

I was craving eggs so I came here for a "quick" to go order for breakfast. As I was inside after placing my to go order it took about 15 minutes (wish it was faster) to get the order. Over all the breakfast was good, eggs were cooked right, the hash browns were my favorite, the bacon tasted a little funky so I didn't eat it. But everything else was great! I'd come back for a $6 decent breakfast for sure.

    Hair in my food!

Hair was in my food, more time should be spent clean and making the restaurant sanitary instead of on phones.

So delicious! I love that the food is cooked to order and comes to you fresh and hot. I don't mind waiting longer for it because of this. I did mind waiting forever for my coffee as I like to sip some before my meal arrives. Had to ask a different server for it to be brought to me. The pecan waffle and the hashbrowns are the best thing here! Oh and the coffee! Don't underestimate Waffle House! I have enjoyed expensive meals in fancy restaurants less. The waffle is large enough to have leftovers and the prices can't be beat. If it wasn't so caloric I would eat here way more often. Can't wait for the to open up that's even closer to my house! My only other complaint was a chunk of waffle batter that was on the side of my coffee mug. I'm sure it fell on there post washing and it wasn't anywhere near where my mouth was going to be so I let it go. All staff was super friendly and sweet. Craving an awesome breakfast don't hesitate to come here. It's fun to dine in because the place is so tiny you can watch your food being prepared right before your eyes. Excellent to go containers! Fit the waffle perfectly!

Service was fantastic with our server (Will) being very knowledgeable and friendly. Drinks and food arrived quickly and were fantastic - the drinks were on point, the food ample in quantity and flavorful in taste. The Fudgy Brownie was divine! Well-done! As I mention above, the final tally was a bit shocking. Otherwise, a great place to hang out; planning to return to avail of the Mon/Tue $25 Wine and Bruschetta Board special.

[EDIT only to correct to "Postino"]…read more I use the one-stars sparingly, I really do. This has nothing to do with the food, as we never got that far in the course of my miserable experience at this location (not sure if it's a chain or not). Walked into a relatively quiet restaurant somewhat later in the evening after strolling a bit in the summer Houston heat around the Woodlands. A couple of people recommended Postino. The issue arose when I asked for a possible menu modification. Specifically, I was trying to avoid GOAT CHEESE on the meatball dish I had my eyes on (which otherwise looked pretty tempting). The server indicated that they probably couldn't do it but I nevertheless requested this... a couple of minutes later the server returned with the bad news. Apparently, it simply had to be served as-is, according to the menu. This in itself wouldn't have got me to the point of writing this review. However, I, incredulous, was kind of laughing (you have to laugh) and said something like "so I can only order exactly what's on the menu, and the kitchen can't do anything different?" (slight paraphrasing, perhaps). There wasn't much further conversation with the server but within about 30 seconds of this exchange, a "manager" stormed over to the table and borderline-abusively shouted "is there a problem?!". This "mini-manager" as I will refer to her, proceeded to inform me that they could NOT accommodate changes because it would "violate the integrity of the restaurant" ... I of course I also found a bit humorous, and in this state inquired further about what sense it made to be so obnoxiously strict for someone just trying to grab a quick bite about 30 minutes before closing. I'm sensitive to the work involved in running restaurants and serving obnoxious customers, but I was NOT rude, obnoxious, or difficult. Just blown away by this treatment. I was then informed by the mini-manager that she was from LONDON which I assume meant I should accept that her cosmopolitan background and (I assume vast and high-level culinary experience) meant that I should shut my trap and stop being so picky. At this point I was compelled to mention that I, too, grew up overseas and was very surprised at this complete lack of flexibility. Within another 30 seconds or so of this dialogue, the mini-manager tipped the menu over on the table and abruptly shouted, "you know what, I'm refusing you service!" That made it all easy from there as we promptly (while laughing, partly out of shock) exited the facility. Huge disappointment and embarrassing in my view for a restaurant that seems otherwise to have maintained a great reputation - and especially so for the fact that service (and people in general) in Houston tend to be kind and accommodating, not typically RUDE or reactionary. I'm encouraging this restaurant to have a look at the service model. I can't say I'll try Postino again the next time I'm in Houston, but I certainly hope it continues to truly earn its 4.5 star rating, 'cause they sure did NOT when I was there this weekend.
