Talk about first impressions. My wife and I were excited to try the new place. We figured late Monday morning, shouldn't be an issue. Wrong! We only made it as far as the door. There were about 20 people waiting to be seated, although restaurant seemed only half full. No hostess, people running around and peeking at the growing waiting crowd. We decided to walk out after 15 minutes. I understand this is a soft opening, but being inattentive, disorganized lets me believe that this will be another failure for such a spot full of potential our area. Very disappointing. read more

Tried this place for the first time today and we were extremely disappointed. Our food was cold, the couple at the table next to us warned us that the food would be cold, the cheese on my scramble didn't even melt, and to make matters worse the waitress kept getting our order wrong. They only offer beef and pork for breakfast meat, no chicken or turkey. She substituted my meat with fruit, like is that even a substitution? A scramble comes with eggs which I got none of till I asked. My order also came with toast, I asked for wheat toast I got sourdough told the waitress about it so she took it back and brought me white toast, at that point I was done with that place. read more

The chili cheese fries are good, the pastrami is great, the nachos were good until we found burnt pastic in the beans, the tacos are nasty, the burritos and quesadillas are ok, the waffles are good, the fajitas are ok. Attended the soft opening this evening. I was very excited about the restaurant. We ordered the Chicken and Waffles plate. It was very delicious. Not sure what was in the Waffle but it had a hint of a cinnamon kick. The plate comes with 2 Waffles and 4 pcs of chicken. The chicken was very crispy and delicious. We also ordered the appetizer plate. Can't recall the name of the plate but it contained onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. The service was a bit slow but since it was their soft opening, I'm going to oversee that since all of the servers were very nice and attentive. Definitely coming back for breakfast. Had chicken and waffles and it was pretty tasty. Half a chicken - more than enough for one meal. 1/2 a Belgian waffle. Daughters had biscuits and gravy and a make-it-yourself omelette. They said their food was okay. What brought it down was the poor coffee. Tasted like coffee-flavored water. You look forward to good coffee with your breakfast food. Service was good. Wait was about 40 minutes for a table for 3 adults and 2 children on a Sunday late morning. Place is run by the same people who run Primo's. I'd try it again just to give it a 2nd chance. read more

So let me start out with the service. the swrvice is the only thing that makes this place okay. The staff were nice and were glad to help. But the food was trash the chicken and waffles were trash. the chicken was bloody and extremely undercooked. The waffles were still doughy and undercooked. Now i got a western style burger. Walked in around 7pm on a Sunday night. The parking lot was nearly empty - should have been our first clue. Walked in and stood by the Hostess Station. No one. We stood there and looked at each other - you would have thought the place was closed if not for a table of customers off to our right. We waited for a few minutes and then my husband spots a female employee through the clear glass behind the Hostess Station. She's laying flat on her back on the bench seat, arms extended playing on her cell phone!! We just shook our heads and left. I had heard from one friend that the food was delicious and reasonable and from another friend that the food was not edible. We were willing to give it a chance - but I won't be back. Went across 47th to Panda to just grab something quick - the line was literally out the door! Panda is not cheap anymore Waffle Kitchen - some of those customers should have been yours??? By the way - we ended up getting take out from a little mexican restaurant in Littlerock. They were getting ready to close but happily made us an order to go and thanked us for our business. Waffle Kitchen tastes just like precooked cafeteria food.....I have such high hopes for new restaurants in Palmdale. My wife ordered the corn beef hash and it was clearly straight out of the can. I ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffle was delicious.My chicken did not have much flavor it seemed like prebreaded fried chicken or the batter was just flour no seasonings. Great for brunch and happy hour! Their waffles are really great, super crunchy and still soft on the inside. Chicken and waffles is my go to at this spot. I love there melted butter they give you with the waffles. They also have great Eggs Benedict. The happy hour has cheap beer and drinks and great deals on appetizers and wings. They have TVs playing all the sports, perfect for those later games. read more

New restaurant so there out of specific items on the menu. (Baked potato, strawberries) the food was ok, the service was great, made up for the food. I had a western burger which was ok, nothing special at all. This place is more or a breakfast all day type of restaurant. Waffles were fresh and good. Food was good but very disappointed with the waffle, I asked for the strawberry waffle and paid extra to add Nutella on it well... that waffle didnt look nothing like the menu specially the strawberries and whatever chocolate syrup they used is NOT Nutella so I have no idea why I had to pay extra for something that wasnt given to me.
