Without hesitation, he said that he loves serving the community and is appreciative for every single person who decides to buy food from their cart, especially since there are so many options at PSU and around the Portland. If he can brighten their day or just provide them with a delicious meal, he is satisfied. Wow! Wish all those in the food service business shared this perspective. Since their inception, NE Creperie has had a few locations around Portland starting in NE Portland, hence the name. Now their cart at the PSU food cart pod is permanent. Their bright lime green cart is actually on SW College across from the Chevron Station, perpendicular to the row of food carts on SW 4th. There is a parking lot right there making it super convenient if you are not passing by on foot. The bright "Open" sign is clearly visible from SW 4th so it's easy to see when they are open. With extended hours until 9:30 or so during the summer, when many of us are out and about and often craving a delicious sweet or savory bite on the way home, I love having this option available. To serve the larger community, NE Creperie has a mobile Food Truck so they are somewhere every weekend, late spring through early fall, when there are a plethora of festivals & street fairs (Cathedral Park Jazz Festival, Mississippi Street Fair, Portland Flea, for example) so look for their signature lime green cart and dine on crepes while enjoying the festivals. I think I should have gotten more meat and crepe for the price. I ate the entire thing in a few minutes and was still hungry afterwards. 12 bucks goes a long ways at the food carts and I can definitely find something tasty and filling (sometimes enough for 2 meals if you find the right place) for what I paid.
