Based on the recommendation of a local we decided to give this place a try. We found the place to have a very pleasant decor and comfortable. We got seated right away and were offered coffee immediately. We found the coffee to be very good. The menu is very extensive. They also offer some daily specials and early bird items. My wife ordered the waffle special which comes with 1 egg, bacon or sausage and waffle. She also opted for the real maple syrup. I decided to give the blueberry waffle a try with a side of sausage patties. The waffles were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The waffle was covered with freshly cooked blueberries but not like a compote or overly sweet. I also chose the blueberry syrup. The sausage was very good and had great flavor. Was not fatty or greasy. I don't normally give out 5 stars on a first visit but was very pleased and impressed with our experience. read more

It's not as good as Lone Spur, but the atmosphere is more like a Denny's and it's off the main tourist track so it's still a Prescott secret. Some people like stuff better if it's unknown, but for me it's about the food. In this case, it's better than average waffle house type food. The service is excellent. I had the worst service and worst breakfast of my life here during my trip to Prescott last weekend. I had to ask several times to get anything I needed. Someone came to fill my coffee three times but no one ever brought me my salsa for my breakfast burrito that I asked for twice. I could not get my bill to leave and when we did leave I saw my waitress smoking in the parking lot. It is of no wonder why she was not keeping up with her service. Ate here for the first time today. Staff is friendly and helpful. My husband and I both selected the create your own omelet. We each selected a meat, vegetable and cheese for our omelets. Base omelet price was $5.95, the meat choice added another $2.95, the vegetable choice added another $0.95 and the cheese was another $1.00. We also got two iced teas. The ingredients were plentiful in the omelets. You also got a choice of bread and potatoes. Now on to taste--the potatoes had no flavor/seasoning whatsoever. The omelets were just so-so--nothing spectacular. With tax and tip, our meal came to almost $35.00. All in all, the food was bland and rather tasteless. I have been here before and know about the ham and eggs. We took my Dad to an early Father's day breakfast on Saturday and it was great. I had the ham and eggs and the waitress warned me about the size (as big as the plate). I was glad to here it. Dad had Louisiana sausage and eggs. Very good except the skin was very tough. The biscuits and gravy were so-so but that was only a side for the ham and eggs. i will try something else next time - waffles!!. It is a very good place for breakfast and good prices. A great place for breakfast. Friendly, although not fast, service. Extremely large portions, so avoid over ordering unless you feel like stuffing yourself. The coffee was very good with seemingly endless refills. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an English muffin, which was excellent. My wife ordered an omelet, which was probably the largest omelet I've ever seen. You can build your own omelet, however the a la cart pricing of the ingredients quickly adds up to an expensive omelet. This place is no gourmet restaurant but it sure is delicious. I come here probably at least once a week. My favorite is the breakfast egg sandwich. You choose type of bread, cheese, meat, and they even have gluten free bread! At $5.69 this is a steal. My boyfriend always orders the Chicken Fried Chicken and it is soooo gooood. The white gravy on top is amazing. I think that is $8.69 or so and you get a big 'ole piece of chicken, your choice of potatoes, two eggs, and a starch (pancakes, biscuits and gravy, toast, English muffin, or regular muffin I think). Tons of food. Sometimes if neither of us is starving we split it. As other reviewers have said the coffee isn't great but they top off your cup about every two seconds so at least it's always hot. Also this place is CASH ONLY but has an ATM. If you like homestyle breakfast food you need to eat here ASAP. read more

orderd the sausage links and eggs the wife ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, let me start off with the sausage and eggs ordered over medium eggs overcooked, the sausage were not links they were cheap brown and serve sausage, hash browns were a very very small portion, biscuits and gravy had no flavor, chicken fried steak has a very thin peice of meat the rest is breading, again the gravy had no flavor, the pancakes are very thin, seems like this place cuts a lot of corners, they don't take credit or debit, cheaply made food. how they got a best of of Prescott is beyond me. read more

Went there today for the first time the food was amazing. I had the turkey & eggs special which comes with two eggs, 4 slices of thick cut turkey bacon, home fries, and half a waffle all for 7.95 the prices are cheap and the food is spectacular. I highly recommend the apricot syrup which is made with real apricots. The reason for three stars is the staff is mediocre my coffee was never empty but the atmosphere just wasn't there. Our server was fine just not as friendly and comforting as I would like. Plus he didn't split the checks like we asked so we had to figure out who's bill was who's.
