One of the things I'm in love with completely in Prescott, AZ is this restaurant. I have no idea how in the world Lone Spur Cafe can get voted (...right) Best Breakfast in Pop Rocket when this place is 10x better. I would have to suggest ignoring the negative reviews because, I am telling you I've been coming here for almost 4 years and it rocked my socks every time. Great service and fantastic waffels! I typically never order sweet breakfast items so I really treated myself this morning when we went out with family. I had, what I think was called, the Hawaiian Delight with bananas, pineapple, coconut- added whip cream and boysen berry syrup. SO tasty. My boyfriend and I were looking for a local breakfast place instead of the usual Denny's or Ihop and fell upon Waffles N More. The menu included various ways to serve waffles...mostly with various kinds of fruit. I chose the pecan waffle and my boyfriend had the waffle with banana and whipped cream. A recent trip to Waffles-N-More shows a marked improvement to their service. Our server made extra efforts to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Food was about the same as our last few visits: middle-of-the-road fare that didn't disappoint but also didn't exceed expectations. We went for breakfast, and while a couple of people at our table enjoyed their food, for the most part it was just okay. Zero stars! First time ever coming here and I order 2 things off the menu. Manager comes over and tells me to wait outside for the food I said I haven't paid yet and he says my total is 40$ I said are you sure? It seemed extreme! He said yes I'm sure I said I don't think so it seems too much for 2 meals he said he was going to check again, never returned. Another waiter comes and tells me my total is 22$ which sounded more likely and I proceed to hand him my card then he tells me it's cash only. Mind you the food was already done and the whole time I was sitting with my card, phone and keys in my hand no pockets nothing else. Then the manager comes back and tells me I'm rude and to go eat somewhere else! Disgusting behavior. Never coming back again! read more

I ordered a pecan waffle and a side of bacon and a cup of coffee. The waffle was good, the bacon was fair, the total was $16.25 cents !!!! I almost choked on the coffee. Went with a group of four, of which our group of three were the first to arrive. We were seated right away. We made the mistake of telling our server that we were waiting for a fourth. Once we got coffee, we didn't see her for about 15 minutes, even though our fourth person arrived, who was also desperately in need of coffee. I will say that my over medium eggs were cooked by someone who knows how to cook an egg...just enough yolk without any white in the yolk. My wife ordered something from the same menu with pancakes, eggs and meat. We split a side of hashbrowns(which was humongous). My family and I have eaten here for many years. Always where we take large parties when family visits. The food has always been fantastic. Today, 8-18-20 we went for breakfast. The manager was so rude and demeaning and even told us to f**k ourselves!! We took my 80 year old mother and my 80 year old father in law who is on oxygen 24 hours a day. She made an ass of herself to let us know that the 2 second walk from the door to our table requires us to wear a mask. We cannot wear masks as we all suffer from asthma and copd. I cannot express how rude and snide she was!! We were already seated at our table mind you. BY LAW YOU CAN NOT MAKE SOMEONE WITH A MEDICAL CONDITION WEAR A MASK! Second time at this great little breakfast place, which offers $5.89 specials till 11 AM 7 days a week, great people watching, and a good plate to get your day going. Both times that I've been there, I stuck to the specials menu and wasn't disappointed, though the beverage that comes on the side could be a tad bigger (not sure if it was because I ordered milk or that's just the size that comes with but it was maybe 6 ounces of milk). Upon entering the restaurant, my friend and I were trying to locate a third friend with special needs (who often needs assistance with walking/sitting) who entered the restaurant before us. The hostess was trying to impress us in a very unhospitable way that we had to wear a mask. "Well, you passed 3 signs on the way in". We were given a mask and having located our friend (seated at a table behind a partition) we started to walk to her table. The hostess again intercepted us to tell us we couldn't be seated because there were others waiting before us. The two gentlemen who were kind enough to hold the door for us had actually entered after us. We told the waitress that we were joining our friend at the table where she was seated. "oh". Our wait experience was not much better. The man who waited on us asked a question which, I guess, we failed to answer quickly enough, so he decided to express his non-verbal opinion by rolling his eyes. A few minutes later he and the hostess passed our table talking to each other about how stupid the clientele were. We do not know about whom they were talking, but who wants to patronize a restaurant where they are made to feel uncomfortable by a staff that talks so flagrantly and disrespectfully about its customers. On the way out the hostess was "herding" another large group of diners in with her best "hurry up and get in here". There are many other restaurants in Prescott, each one endeavoring (and succeeding) in providing quality customer service in the face of difficult conditions. We were in town for a wedding and grabbed some breakfast on our way out. We were looking for inexpensive, good food and this place didn't disappoint. I ordered the ham steak and eggs. The server should have warned me that what was about to be set in front of me, was half a pig. This ham steak came out on it's own platter, with a steak knife and was bigger than my husbands hand. It was HUGE. Grilled to perfection and accompanied with 2 eggs, potatoes and toast, $8.95 was a steal for this breakfast. I also ordered a buscuit and gravy, which was way too much with the ham. They remember you only after a couple visits and are very accommodating when asked questions or need assistance. When you first walk into the Restaruant you walk into a little foyer with some seats for waiting but otherwise it is very cramped with the register, atm, line, and hostess. Around the corner it opens up to booths and tables. It looks a bit crowded when there are a lot of people but the chairs and booths give enough room that you can feel comfortable. The decor is dated and just generally old but it works for the clientele. Good for all age groups but average age is older. We came in for breakfast over Labor day weekend. The place looks old and worn, but in a nice way., You can tell this is a popular local favorite with the residents of the area. I ordered a breakfast burrito. You can pick from a long list of ingredients, but each extra item will cost you. So if you like your burrito packed with a lot of extras, expect to pay more than $10.00. My burrito was pretty good. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely stop by. May 22 Came back. Still good food. But I can't believe they charge extra for cheese in a breakfast burrito. Cheese should be a standard item in a breakfast burrito. Also their bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Based on the recommendation of a local we decided to give this place a try. We found the place to have a very pleasant decor and comfortable. We got seated right away and were offered coffee immediately. We found the coffee to be very good. The menu is very extensive. They also offer some daily specials and early bird items. My wife ordered the waffle special which comes with 1 egg, bacon or sausage and waffle. She also opted for the real maple syrup. I decided to give the blueberry waffle a try with a side of sausage patties. The waffles were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The waffle was covered with freshly cooked blueberries but not like a compote or overly sweet. I also chose the blueberry syrup. The sausage was very good and had great flavor. Trying to find that morning hangover cure. Found it. This place is waffletastic! It looks like it's small from the outside, but this place has lots of tables inside. No waiting for a table, fast and friendly service, delicious food. If you do need to wait, theres mugs and coffee in the lobby. What more could you ask for? How about I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup. That's what I'm talking about. There's always someone with a coffee pot, it's almost annoying, but not as annoying as waiting for a coffee refill. You can mix and match your meal however you want. Their menu has everything you would want from a place that has waffles in the name. My eggs were cooked to perfection. Oh and the multigrain waffle was so fluffy and delicious! Chicken fried steak and eggs, with pancakes....I give this place 5 noms, for being a taste of breakfast southwest style. We went to Waffles-N-More this past weekend while visiting grandparents. Overall, the experience was less than satifactory. We sat at our table and waited for 45 minutes before our order was taken by a curt waitress who was not friendly in the least. The coffee was free flowing but terrible. Our server sloshed coffee all over the place with every refill, making a huge mess and not bothering to apologize or wipe up. They did however, offer a variety of flavored creamers, probably to disguise the tasteless, brown swill they were serving. After the waitress finally took our orders, we waited another 20 minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered a simple item off the "lighter bites." Can't really screw up a scrambled egg, bacon and toast. Several people ordered waffles, I didn't taste so I can't speak as to the rest of what was ordered. The prices also seemed a bit steep for breakfast. Many, if not most of the menu was over $8 for normal breakfast fare. Overall rating - the food was decent but the service was terrible, leaving much to be desired. An hour and 40 minutes for breakfast?!? Ridiculous. We WILL NOT be returning! The portion size was exact: 2 slices of French toast, 1 egg, 2 pieces of bacon, and 2 sausages. That's a pretty small portion compared to other restaurants, but enough that you don't feel heavy afterwards! They have quite a variety of flavored creams and syrups. A great restaurant to take care of your breakfast cravings. Being a local, this is one of those places that is a standby when looking for a local bite to eat. A surprisingly large floorplan means that waits are kept to a minimum, even on busy weekend mornings. I have yet to have bad food here. Waffles-N-More, approx. 4 miles out Iron Springs Rd. west of downtown Prescott , did a great job for a late weekend breakfast. Chicken Fried Chicken and Chicken Fried Steak and eggs with hashbrowns ( 3 types of hashbrowns offered ) and biscuits drenched in country gravy wasn't enough to fill our available table space. Adding a fresh mango and peach buckwheat waffle with apricot syrup brought up my low blood sugar level and satisfied any need for dessert for the rest of the day. Prompt friendly service with obvious teamwork from the staff kept a good "standard" cup of coffee full. A local weekend newspaper and a wide variety of locals and out-of-owners kept us entertained during the short wait for our order. While trying to walk off the waffle, I did a little shopping at the outdoor furniture store next door and found nice stuff ( priced for the Scottsdale shopper). How much for the Gorilla sleeping in their 400 dollar hammock with a margarita glass ?....now that would look good on my patio. read more
