Disappointing Experience Due to Misrepresentation and Terrible Customer Service…read more After conducting an extensive search across the western United States for our Cougar travel trailer, we selected RV Corral in Eugene, Oregon based on their competitive pricing and assurances regarding specific equipment specifications. Throughout our pre-purchase communications, I made multiple inquiries via phone and email to verify the trailer's features, particularly requesting confirmation of the air conditioning unit's model number. The sales team repeatedly verified these specifications, including a final confirmation before our 14-hour drive to complete the purchase. Upon arrival and inspection, we discovered that the air conditioning unit installed was not the upgraded model we had specifically verified and factored into our purchase decision. Despite having documented email correspondence confirming the correct specifications, we were presented with a different AC unit than what was promised. Initially, the sales representative acknowledged the error and offered an $800 credit toward resolution. However, after researching the actual cost of upgrading to the promised unit ($2,200-$2,500), we returned to request appropriate compensation that would cover the discrepancy. At this point, the manager's response was unprofessional and concerning. Not only did he refuse our reasonable request for compensation equal to the upgrade cost, but he also rescinded the initial $800 offer, claiming the salesperson lacked authorization. The manager's ultimatum was particularly troubling: accept the trailer with the incorrect equipment at full price or forfeit our deposit entirely. Given our significant travel distance and planned family trip, this approach appeared to leverage our circumstances unfavorably--he knew he had us and he could take advantage of us. When I attempted to negotiate a compromise covering material costs only, the manager became increasingly hostile. While we ultimately completed the purchase due to timing constraints (we had a family trip scheduled for the following week), this experience reflects poorly on RV Corral's business practices. The failure to deliver promised specifications, coupled with management's unwillingness to appropriately address their documented error, shows their unethical and unprofessional ways. I would recommend avoiding the RV Corral at all costs--no matter how 'good' the deal. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true--it probably is. RV Corral and specifically their sales manager, are terrible.

Looking for a travel trailer, we had done our homework and Lance was one of the names we were looking for. After talking to a sales rep., we were told that they were part of an RV show going on in town and had a nice Lance trailer there. We drove over to the show and met a salesperson there to look at the Lance. Unfortunately, it was one of the trailers parked outside in the rain. We looked the outside over as best we could in pouring rain and proceeded to look over the inside. It looked nice, we asked a million questions and it seemed to be just what we were looking for. It had a 4 seasons pkg and the layout was on the nose. We looked the outside over a second time and eventually came to a deal while at the show. We completed the purchase process and returned to Washington planning to come back and pick it up in two weeks. We were told title papers would be sent to us in 2 weeks. We returned to RV Outlet to pick up the trailer and do a walk thru with a rep. When we got the trailer home we realized the front window seal was broken and there is water in the double pane glass. Looking back, that window always had the blind down! During the walk thru after purchase, the rep did show us how the blind opens and closes, but was still positioned all the way down. While at the RV show looking at it from the outside in the pouring rain, twice, it looked fine. Certainly, the sales rep never said anything about it which should have absolutely been part of the negotiations as there is no way RV Outlet was not aware of the problem. We have since learned that this could cost us between $2,000 & $3500 to either fix the seal or replace it as it is a curved pane! Because we signed an "AS IS WHERE IS" paper with them, there is no recourse now. Again...tin our opinion there is NO WAY RV Outlet didn't know about this expensive window problem!! 2) NO customer service. We were told all our papers would be in the mail in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks and no papers received, we started calling and leaving messages. For 3 more weeks, we left multiple messages and no one returned our calls! Finally, after 5 weeks, we get a call back and told our papers had been "misplaced" and were sending them to us by "3 day mail!!" We still had to register the trailer in WA. and there is a penalty fee if not done in a timely manner!

Said somebody had broken into their lot and stole my battery. They replaced that but they acted like they didn't know why my paint was all torn up on the rear cap. Turns out it was from the people who stole it, slinging gravel in a flatbed. Made them pay for it Ridiculous that an RV would have 44 defects in it brand new. Even more ridiculous that these idiots would keep it a year trying to figure it out. I'm not talking to anything major or structural.. When I pick the unit up, they had a fat bill attached to it. What's that about? It's under warranty. Incompetent rip off artists Stay away Edit: in response to the "business owners" comments. Yes sir, are covering your rear, as I could not forget such a circumstance. If you're at 2400 W. 7th Ave., in Eugene, that's you. I don't care if you have records of a break in or not, your insurance paid for it. Before I pick up my unit, I had to call out the big guns of your dealership to administrate the mess and pare down the stupid bill to something more reasonable for the few items Warranty didn't cover. One guy got fired over it. Another one of the GS family members who served as an advocate to sort out the BS got demoted afterward (well that's what he told me ) because his decisions were viewed as losing money. You may not work on Keystone anymore, but you sure the hell did then. You guys even called and tried to get me to accept cheap interstate batteries after my two expensive Centennial 6 V golf cart batteries were stolen. Snakes. Paint repair and fiberglass repair on my rear cap work was done by the business adjacent (practically inside the fence) to your back parking lot . Oh, it was you alright. I would keep quiet if I were you because anything you say further is simply a lie of convenience and CYA. What responsibility or credibility is built upon. Something woefully lacking in the RV Repair business.

Sept 2016: I have been a loyal Marathon Coach service department customer for 6 years now. I have been blessed to have had two prior Marathon Coach's that I have purchased via private party. We recently decided to buy a new / preowned bus from Marathon Coach sales department. The overall sales experience was a great one. There where a few things we wanted changed, a few upgrades and a few things that need fixed and repaired. Marathon Coach literally made our new /preowned bus look flawless and in brand new condition when we took delivery. They also made sure that it was in perfect mechanical condition and fully serviced as well.
