Brought my brand spanking new Montana to these guys with 44 factory defects. They managed to keep it for 13 months then give it back to me with all the paint torn on the rear cap. Said somebody had broken into their lot and stole my battery. They replaced that but they acted like they didn't know why my paint was all torn up on the rear cap. Turns out it was from the people who stole it, slinging gravel in a flatbed. Made them pay for it Ridiculous that an RV would have 44 defects in it brand new. Even more ridiculous that these idiots would keep it a year trying to figure it out. I'm not talking to anything major or structural.. When I pick the unit up, they had a fat bill attached to it. What's that about? It's under warranty. Incompetent rip off artists Stay away Edit: in response to the "business owners" comments. Yes sir, are covering your rear, as I could not forget such a circumstance. If you're at 2400 W. 7th Ave., in Eugene, that's you. I don't care if you have records of a break in or not, your insurance paid for it. Before I pick up my unit, I had to call out the big guns of your dealership to administrate the mess and pare down the stupid bill to something more reasonable for the few items Warranty didn't cover. One guy got fired over it. Another one of the GS family members who served as an advocate to sort out the BS got demoted afterward (well that's what he told me ) because his decisions were viewed as losing money. You may not work on Keystone anymore, but you sure the hell did then. You guys even called and tried to get me to accept cheap interstate batteries after my two expensive Centennial 6 V golf cart batteries were stolen. Snakes. Paint repair and fiberglass repair on my rear cap work was done by the business adjacent (practically inside the fence) to your back parking lot . Oh, it was you alright. I would keep quiet if I were you because anything you say further is simply a lie of convenience and CYA. What responsibility or credibility is built upon. Can't say enough good things about Sutton. We were on the road in the middle of a long trip when a water leak developed in our Airstream's water heater. After explaining it to them they fit us in to their already booked service schedule on the day we were due to pass through Eugene and had us on the road in about 3 hours with a new water heater. They left the trailer interior as clean as they found it with the owner manual for the new water heater on he table. read more

Honestly, Sutton RV is simply the BEST. We bought a brand new RV, which I will not name, from a different dealership. We have had some pretty substantial issues that I would only trust Sutton RV to fix. Kurt is absolutely incredible and has been able to work miracles to get our RV working. Jordan and Don are extremely responsive and have done everything they can to provide exceptional service to us during some stressful times. Had service done on our RV. Annual inspection was supposed to be done as well as repair some trim work. Left for 3 weeks to give additional time. Initial work was to be roughly 1 week. Called to confirm work was done prior to long distance travel for pick up. Work was not completed upon arrival, despite insistence. Stove was disassembled and in parts on floor. Stove was in perfect working order and nearly new prior to their mess. Manager claimed that parts were not working. I reassembled and all parts worked perfectly. No signs of completed inspection. Asked for information about inspection and staff could not provide. Had to request multiple times and caught them lying about it. RV was filthy at pick up. Left in immaculate condition. Photographed lies of work said done and not accomplished. Staff attempted to upsell unnecessary work - replace stainless stove hood - $120+ when $7 hinge was only piece needed. Lied about availability, making us wait for weeks. $7 part was readily available and ordered direct through Airstream. We had to go through entire trailer and do repair / service work ourselves after said work had been done. A 400+ bill for zero work done. Spoke to management, who could not provide proof of inspection or work done. Weeks later, a handwritten inspection sheet arrived in the mail. Items said completed had not been done. Offer by manager to get a free wash. We live 3 hours away. Not acceptable. Avoid. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with Sutton RV included Bad Customer Service, No Communication, Overcharging and Incompetent Work. I brought my RV in to have the solar panels replaced under warranty with the solar panel manufacturer, it was supposed to be a 2 hour job. They accepted the job and proceeded to take 6 hours to complete the work without communicating with me the situation and increase in cost. This would have been acceptable if the extra labor wasn't due to their lack of knowledge, to their credit they did admit to this and reduced the labor charges from 6 to 4 hours after almost a WEEK of negotiating with my RV dealer, RVs of America. During this time Sutton RV did not contact me once, while RVs of America was keeping me updated multiple times a day. When we finally got our RV back there was work debris all over, the contents of our fridge were spilled, due to someone opened it and didn't shut it properly, it has a special latch they weren't aware of, but there was no reason for them to open our fridge in the first place, and most importantly our AC sounded like a broken washing machine. They had to uninstall the AC and they didn't properly reinstall it and they didn't test it, after they "fixed" the reinstallation issue, we finally took our RV home, only to find the AC was throwing an error. After taking it apart myself I found they didn't connect all the wires when reinstalling it the second time. I will never go here again and recommend you don't either ! read more

I entered into a purchase contract with a salesperson named Will as well as Karen Tangle, a sales manager at Sutton RV, for a travel trailer to be delivered at a later date. A deposit was made, a price and fees specified and several exchanges were made regarding the contract, its completion, and delivery dates. Several months later, I received a call that the trailer was delivered to the lot however the price being charged was going to be changed by over $7,000 if I wanted to take delivery. This is just a bit over a fifth of the price negotiated on the unit. While this is frustrating in its own right in addition I have already spent at least a thousand in equipment for the unit as well as purchased a tow vehicle based on the delivery of the unit I ordered and signed a contract for. Yes, I had a contract and could have likely forced the issue however do I really want to enter into a business relationship with individuals who do business in this manner? Nope. We just bought our 2018 Forest river Surveyor. We had been to other dealers and looked at lots of models and found this was the unit we liked best. After shopping a few different dealers and not being able to find a deal that worked for us, We came here and glad we did. Huge was our salesman, He did a great job of listening to us about what we wanted in our new trailer, He even did well with our two crazy kids running around. When it came time to talk number we explained we had a trade in and we told them we had a good idea of what it was worth to them in trade in value. Not what I thought it was worth but real deal trailer sales trade in value. We were able to come to agreeable numbers that fit our budget,(they gave us more for trade than other dealers) We bought the unit, On the pickup day we had a very nice tech do a very good walk threw with us, we found a speaker not working and he fixed it right up on the spot. Makes me sad to see some folks were not treated this way but I can tell you for sure this place treated us better then the other dealerships. (Wheel bearing Info) PLEASE READ So this is my second Travel trailer, and I have been towing trailers and boats a large part of my life. I have pulled trailers back and forth across most of the country a few times. I have worked in the auto and lite truck repair for 17 years, I work in the tractor world now for about the last 4 years, one things for sure wheel bearing on trailers need to be serviced, sometimes you just pump the bearing buddy with grease and sometimes you have to pull the wheels and repack and possible replace the bearings if you did not grease them every few trips. It is the most vital safety item on your trailer. I am not sure how so many people pulling trailers around the PNW are not aware of this. Please for the love of your family and all the other family's on the road service your wheel bearings. the end result could be a wheel flying off your trailer and into a car killing someone inside. So with all that said I would be happy recommend this dealer to a friend or family member. read more

Sutton RV is the Bomb-diggity!!! After buying an Airstream trailer in California I had some work done at a very disreputable rv repair place. No heat and no power unitl I landed on the doorstep of Sutton RV un-announced and no appointment. Tom and the entire service crew got my Airstream in on the same day as they realize I am a "full timer" and actually live in my 1973 Excella 500. A few hours later came the call for the problems found and very carefully documenting the actual issue and the suggestions for repair. As my furnace was out of commission, it needed total replacement. The furnace was delivered overnight and with all the other repairs they still got me out in one overnight stay. Upon inspecting the furnace install it instantly became clear that the generic duct work didnt fit and custom heat duct attachments were fabricated in their shop. The installation of this furnace was really a work of art, not one tiny pinhole leak and really this is craftsman type level of work. Two weeks later I was in Montana in -19 degree below zero weather, reading a book on my couch in a t-shirt, thats a kick ass furnace! My Airstream is my home and just dropping it off and staying in a hotel can give a guy a very uneasy feeling, when I picked up the trailer not one thing was out of place and not one bit of dirt or debris left over from the repairs. I will never take my Airstream any place else and rest assured that this is one service crew that is a CLASS ACT!! P read more

I would not recommend going here to purchase an RV. We have had nothing but lots of little things that have added up to costly mistakes. First, we were told the tanks/battery would/had been changed out to new full ones and a new running battery, that was not done. When my husband called they claimed they never heard of anything like that with a used trailer getting new items.... the tanks are so old we can't even go and get them filled, and the tubes are so eroded we have to replace them. We started having light/recharge issues with the battery (or so we thought) so we took the battery out and replaced it with a new one, the date on the battery was 05/2011 I don't know about you but that date is NOT from a new battery, then our converter was going out and so we just ordered a new one and that fixed our issue of not being able to hold charges and having alarms not go off. We haven't even had the trailer a month mind you. Also, there was a known issue of a leak near the pop out, they claimed it was fixed we'd just have to fix the floor no big deal we could handle that. We just learned with this rain that is happening that is not fixed so that is some thing else we will be fixing on our own as well thanks to Sutton. Funny thing about this whole experience/issue that I have learned is no matter how nice they are to you before you buy, once you purchase it's no longer their problem. We will fix the issues ourselves even though we bought the warranty... that I'm now thinking was a huge mistake anyway.... , I'm so disappointed in the service (or lack of) that we received after our purchase that I am 100% sure I will go anywhere else but this place for any issues or when we go to purchase a different RV. I can honestly say I would not recommend this company to others. Our experience has been nothing but troubles and I am pretty sure they just saw us as a couple of new RV purchasers. I just picked up my new R-Pod camping trailer from these folks last Friday. What a great experience I had. My salesman, Hugh was easy to deal with and worked with me to get the price I wanted. Great way to start! Then it got better. A great guy named Craig gave me a complete rundown on every aspect of my new unit. He covered inside and out, how to use all the appliances, using the slide out, the awning, the bathroom, I mean everything. He was very friendly and offered me tips he's picked up from his experiences. What a nice service Sutton RV provides. If you buy from them be sure to ask Craig what to use a cat flea collar for on your new unit. So there I was, all happy and ready to roll out. When Craig was helping me get connected to tow we discovered I didn't have brake lights, running lights, or turn signals on the trailer. I was a little tight jawed as I 'd had a new brake controller and 7 pin connector installed at the Portland Camping World 2 weeks ago . I sure didn't want to drive to Portland and back to Eugene to have them look at it. Craig took me over and introduced me to Kim in service. A tech had me drive in the service bay and he, along with another tech went through my wiring. They discovered a dangling connector up by my axle. They connected it to the new dangling connector I asked about at Camping World (they said it was a spare connector) and everything lit up and worked. Yay! Happy camper here! I got underway and got home a few hours later than I planned but I was happy happy happy to get my new unit home. Thank you to everyone at Sutton RV. Airplane travel won't be safe for a while, so we chose to keep up our adventures via a small camper trailer light enough to be towed with our crossover. Sutton RV is the only dealer west of Colorado with Prolite trailers in stock, so we jumped on the chance to get one before they were gone. We worked with Devon/Devin over the phone for the entire sales process before driving down from Seattle on a Saturday to check out the trailer and see if it worked for our needs. Once we arrived, Ron gave a VERY thorough walk-through, which we very much needed as new trailer owners. Kim was super helpful in getting everything hitched up. The actual buying process back at the main office was simple and quick, and we were glad to see our finance rep was wearing a mask throughout the transaction. We visited Sutton RV yesterday to check out a 2007, used, Trail Manor we were interested in with the intent of trading in our 2013 Forest River Freedom Premiere pop-up trailer. My husband had spoken to Sean the day prior and we felt pretty good that if we liked what we saw we'd have a deal. Sean was beyond helpful, friendly and patient answering our many questions. We went to the office to make a deal. The first thing I saw that irritated me was that the "deals" are made in public, not in private. I.e. after employees discuss terms with their sales managers, they come out and lay it out. All the while other salespeople are sitting around to overhear it all (there were no other customers there at the time) Needless to say, unfortunately we walked away. Blame it on the way the "lenders" have things set up for used trailers. They would have taken our trailer, wanted $2500 cash down, and raised the interest rate on our current loan by 2% (we have excellent credit) Balancing a 2013 unit against the final cost of a 2007 unit didn't make sense to us. I wish Sean well with selling this one. They might consider the privacy of their customers when discussing financial arrangements. This may be a sales tactic to goad you into saying yes when you should say no - it's an ego thing for a lot of people. If there is a next shopping trip for us, we will surely Internet shop-around before wasting 5 hrs of a beautiful day. read more

Purchased a new 25ft Airstream in 2010 from Sutton. Traded in my 16ft Airstream for that transaction. They set up the Airstream on my tow vehicle without informing me that my Equal-i-zer weight distribution bars were inadequate for the increased trailer weight of the 25ft trailer. Unless you enjoy spam, AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. I contacted them to get a quote on a travel trailer. They did everything but give me a quote. They repeatedly ask me to call or visit their dealership (I live in WA, they are in OR.) They seem to think that if they can talk to me, they will be able to use their "salesman" tactics to convince me that I will want to pay their high prices. If their prices were competitive, they'd just tell me what they were. So here's what I've done. I contacted the salesman that is spamming me and told him that since he was unwilling to provide me with a price I'm no longer interested in doing business with him. I'm not calling him, I'm not driving to OR to visit the dealership, and to delete my e-mail address. He replied to that with "thank you." He then submitted my e-mail address to an auto-emailer so I could be spammed. So I e-mailed him again, and cc'd the owners, the manager of sales, and the office manager, reiterated the previous conversations and demanded again to be removed from his e-mailings. In response I got another e-mail from his spam-bot. No response from the others at the company. So I have added a spam filter to my e-mail for this company and here I am, warning others. Like spam? Sutton RV is your place. Want a dealership that will deal with you with respect and be straight-forward with you? Go elsewhere. Reply to owner's comment: While it's unfortunate that their business was a victim of arson, this doesn't excuse the way they handled this matter. Nor does it excuse the way they have handled it since I notified the BBB and wrote my reviews. I have received no apology, only false accusations. Their fire was on Aug 14th. I didn't receive my first e-mail from them until Aug 20th. So the excuse of not having access to a "specialized printer" (which makes no sense in the first place) doesn't fly. I never opted in to receive these automated e-mails. When I requested they stop sending them, they should have. I did not trust their opt-out link and should not have had to use it since I never opted in. I didn't want to click something that was going to be submitting my e-mail address for further spamming. I still have all the correspondence. I don't have an e-mail that refers me to the website for a price. The closest thing I have says I can find all the information I need on the website. As for Airstream and Redwood not allowing dealers to show anything but MSRP, I wasn't interested in either of those, so that's a non-issue. As for "this person finally opted out," if you consider asking you repeatedly to stop spamming me opting out, yes I opted out. I never clicked the opt-out button. But I do thank you for finally removing me. Now for the "written threats." EXCUSE ME??? How exactly did I threaten anybody? If you mean that because the salesman ignored my request to stop contacting me, then when I contacted you, the office manager, and the salesman - I was still ignored - I cc'd the rest of the office on my final e-mail to request once again that I be removed or I'd be putting my experience on Yelp, Angie's List and notifying the BBB... okay, I threatened you. Or some could look at it as giving you the opportunity to do the honorable (and much simpler) thing and just stop spamming me. We went to Sutton today, found a trailer that we were ready to make a deal on, we gave our salesman our first offer of what we hoped for trade... fully knowing they would come back with a counter offer (well we assumed, since this is how deals generally work). Our salesman took it to the owner (again I'm just basing this off of his reaction), we were sitting maybe 10 feet from the office and got to listen to him bad mouth us and basically talk about how stupid we were and how we come up with make believe numbers. Said something to the effect of "why do I even both putting things on sale, this is what happens, people like this come in!" Screw you Sutton!!! We found the same trailer somewhere else and you can bet your ass we will tell everyone we know to shop elsewhere. Maybe work on shutting your office door or having more tact for prospective customers. If I could give you zero stars I would. Side note... the salesman who worked with us was great! Very helpful! I'm not sure why there's so many negative reviews for Sutton RV? We had nothing but a great experience buying our trailer with them. From the moment we stepped onto the lot we were greeted by their sales team, none of them seemed pushy or aggressive. Ryan helped us look at many different models, until we were down to just a few that we were interested in. Ryan went above and beyond what he was expected to do. He opened up the entire travel trailer (TigerMoth) including the roof tent, and awning, as well as doing tedious research to figure out exactly everything that was included in our model, since they were brand new for Sutton, we even got a substantial discount off our trailers MSRP. The management, finance team, and sales team all went above and beyond with customer service and we couldn't recommend them enough. read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER! My wife and I recently purchased a used RV from Sutton. When I asked the dealer, "Does everything work?". His reply was a big, loud yes. You'll have years of fun with this rig. The day of delivery came and when I showed up....there were three employees on duty. The "so called" mechanic couldn't even tell me what switches were for what. Against my better judgment, we drove off the lot. Less then five miles away, it started to rain. When I went to put on the wipers, they disintegrated on the windshield. Bottom line...furnace, leveling jacks, lights, wipers, mold (see picture), generator, oven, ALL BROKEN. I reached out to the owner....he wouldn't respond (coward) and his sales manager tried to brush this under the rug by sending me a few hundred bucks. STAY AWAY and travel to Portland. read more

Our last Airstream was purchased from a different dealer much closer to where we live. We would show up on the day of our appointment for relatively minor repairs and told we would have to leave the trailer for days or even weeks. On one occasion, they kept delaying the repair and we ended up with a broken pipe that froze sitting on the lot. I decided to take my business elsewhere after that experience. I bought my new Airstream from Sutton last spring. I have to applaud the owner for his top notch service department employees who are thorough and professional and especially Kelly who has gone above and beyond to help me with a couple of fairly minor but frustrating warranty issues. We live 5 hours away and do shopping and have lunch in Eugene while our trailer is being serviced and Kelly makes sure to keep us updated during the day. He has communicated with Airstream on our behalf on several occasions and has been diligent in following up with both myself and Airstream. Wouldn't purchase from them again, very nice and friendly during the purchase and couldn't do enough for us. They recommended an extended warranty and a sealer coating to protect the finish. We decided to purchase it as we wanted to take very good care of our new beautiful trailer. We also added solar panels and charging system. This was the first new trailer we were able to purchase and we paid cash for it. It was our retirement gift to ourselves. The trailer was parked under an RV parking structure when we were not using it. About a year later we had a water leak in our home that required a significant remodel effort to repair. We moved the trailer out to use during the time our home was under construction. 4 months later we noticed what appeared to be rusting on the weather facing wall, but it is all composite, how could that be. we contacted the Sutton RV right away and took it up to them under the coating warranty. They told us it wasn't the coating it was a manufacturer problem but that there as nothing they could do as the manufacturer was in chapter 13. What happened to all the customer service and standing behind the product they sold? With no recourse, we now have a $37,000. Trailer with damaged siding. I have since learned that the trailer came with a protective coating from the manufacturer and we didn't need the one they sold us. We also have learned that it is the decals that have deteriorated likely because of an incompatibility between the manufacturer coating and the one Sutton put on the unit. Only thing we can do to fix the problem is to have the decals removes and try to find some that will match the pattern close enough that it won't show. Really disappointed and upset with the lake of customer support and help as well as the damage caused by Sutton. read more

Poor Poor Poor service department, bought a 2014 in 2015 they weren't ready for our "scheduled" orientation. Had not checked out RV prior to us showing up. canopy motor not working, gas leak at tank, Elec water heater not turned on. Simple warranty to follow and dealer failed to follow up on a water intrusion issue caused by their service department searching for Elec problem, ended up having Medford dealer do repairs. Current issue is we had an appointment for warranty of defective gel coat nose cone. We were told back in February factory authorized repair and dealer needed time to order decals and schedule with paint shop. Called on 4/12 upon returning from vacation to schedule for 5/2. Showed up as scheduled and shop not ready, no decals ordered, no appointment with paint shop and today after 2 calls to get schedule for repair was told factory had not yet authorized repair as of yet. 3 hour drive from Medford to Eugene for service and they are not ready again. We will never purchase from Sutton RV again based on their follow up customer service! PS: still waiting for return call from management read more

Worst experience with their service center! After we bought our '15 toy hauler have had several issues and service dept trying to blame us. Also made "notes" in their system that during the walk through we as customers didn't pay attention even though we asked SEVERAL QUESTIONS and the guy was more interested in going home then helping us. We will be taking our business and any future service business else where. They are a joke. read more

My wife and I wanted to buy a new T@B trailer. We picked this dealership since there are no dealerships that sell this brand in our area, the other option is traveling three and a half hours to another dealer. We called at the end of September asking for one and there were none in stock in the floor plan that we wanted. A salesman asked for our number and said new stock would be in about 5 weeks later. Great, since it would be around our wedding anniversary, perfect gift. Five weeks later, no call. No big deal, I called and spoke to another salesman. He stated that because of not being able to keep up with production, the units were running behind. They should be in around mid-November. OK, a Thanksgiving gift. Again, no call back. I started calling again and someone would get back to me with information regarding arrival dates. Once again, no one called back. This time I asked to speak with a manager, and he took my info and set up the sale. This time, they told me that new units would be in at the beginning of December and there would be one set aside for us. They called us and we began the paperwork, then they call me back that the units were committed to other buyers. WAIT!!! WHAT??? There was one more unit that would be set aside for us, we had the paperwork completed and they were going to call me back to set up a pick up and training day. This was last week 12/12, I called back today since I had not received any information (12/17)....guess what...a manager calls me back and says (with no apology or anything), that the units were sold and that if we were interested we could have the next one that came in, in about 4 to 5 more weeks!!! This has been the worst experience trying to make a purchase. There is no clear structure or communication within the dealership. It seems that if the sale is not immediate, they could care less for your business. Each salesman seems to be doing their own thing, who cares about commitments or following through. read more

Sutton RV is the largest airstream dealer on the west coast -- I had some service done here while passing through. Their service department is actually across the main street in the industrial park, and is not where google maps says it is. Just follow the signs from the main road. I had a wheel bearing service done, as well as a new toilet gasket installed. Sadly, after one flush, the new toilet gasket leaked again. Sigh. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating, and got me in and out in about 5 hours, but obviously the gasket issue left me a little disappointed. Would definitely come by again if I was in the area, though. read more
