This place is the best self serve dog wash place I've ever been too. The employees are nice and helpful. The price of the self wash bath is $12 and relatively cheap. Unlike other places I've been to, there is no time limit on their services. Shampoo, towels, brushes, and a air dryer is provided. If I lived in San Diego I would be a regular here! read more

Love this little place. Very clean and the tubs are easy to get your pooch in and out of. They have alot of good stuff to offer. They know my little Picasso and greet him every time we are there. :) Only wish that they would accommodate the working people. This place is great if you want to wash your dog and not have to deal with the mess at home! For $14 I got shampoo, ear oil (didn't even know that was a thing!) towels and an apron. And when I was done washing my 100 pound golden lab grand-puppy they showed me how to use the dryer. All in all a great experience. Makes a great pit stop on the way home from dog beach! read more

I left my product with a display model at this store for them to sell and the fabulous owner, instead of returning my property to me, she donated it to charity! Not only she didn't pay me for whatever she sold, I have no way of knowing now but on top of that she got rid of my stuff without notice. That was my property and it cost me money to manufacture all I left at her store. There were at least 26 items at $16 per piece plus the model I made specially for her because she asked for it. Dog wash is $12, store is clean, employees were very friendly and helpful and available. We came from Las Vegas and we had told them that. Knowing we would not be coming back regularly, they didn't have to be so nice, but they were. That is good customer service to treat everyone who comes into your store nice. The person helping us even gave us treat samples and also scared me to death about "Greenies" which I had never heard anything bad about, but upon googling it at home I was shocked what I read online. Thank you for informing me. The neighborhood this is in, the main street there is no smoking on the street. It is a nice location. We will surely be bringing our fur baby back when we visit the dog beach nearby. read more

Found this gem thru Yelp. Met the owner Melanie and was treated to excellent customer service. The location is perfect as it is not too far away from the dog beach. If there is a wait for a tub no worries, plenty of places to grab a drink or ice cream near by. The price was less expensive for a wash than others we have used! This is a great store! We love coming here. We live in Las Vegas and always make a point to visit the store everytime we visit Coronado. They have great natural treats that the pups love! They carry just about anything you could need for your dog. We always love coming in and getting something new for the pups to enjoy or just to get some supplies for the trip. The staff is always very helpful and kind. They always go out of their way to be helpful even brought products outside so we could try out a harness and see which one the pup was most comfortable in. The owner is so sweet and remembers us and asks about our dogs everytime we come in. Can't say enough good things about Wag'n Tails! read more

Every now and then, I'd walk in to grab a few treats for my dog. The staff was really helpful in helping me choose a new harness when my dog ate through her old one. My only complaint would be the slightly high prices, but it's worth it for the services they offer. read more

Really nice staff. Went in to get some dog food today and was greeted immediately. I left with some treats, a collar, a car decal and dog food. I also saw they have a dog wash area where you can give your own dog a bath which I thought was cool. The shop window had really cute fall decorations too. Will be back for sure! read more

We come down from Las Vegas to bring our dog, Miso, to the beach on occasion. This time we wanted to find a place to wash her afterwards. After reading the review by Laura B. we almost did not come. Actually I said lets not go but my wife said lets call them first. As usual when I listen to my wife I was glad I did. I would not discount her experience but must say ours was completely different. Shelly welcomed us all with open arms (sand and all). She was very helpful explaining the facility and the different shampoos and ear wash. She checked in to make sure we had enough towels and even gave Miso a few samples which was embarrassing as Miso loved them all so much it must have looked like we had never fed her! We look forward to our next visit to the dog beach at Coronado and our visit afterwards to Wag'N Tails. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience. read more

This is a wonderful little shop! I want to give 5 stars to every single person who was on the morning shift there today. I went in for the first time today for a DIY wash (only $12), and they were all super friendly and helpful showing me the ropes. Also, shout out to the heroic workers in the back who helped me lift my dog into the tub. I've got a huge German Shepherd who decided to be terrified of getting in the bath and completely protested! The two guys back there (one guy was training, the other had worked there for a while) helped calm him down, and didn't rush me at all trying to get him in. The one guy doing the training lifted Indiana up into the tub and put his collar on, safely securing him in. Thank you!!! The bath area was perfectly set up and spotless. They had a great selection of shampoos and conditioner. They also provided ear drops, clean towels, aprons, air dryer, bath mats, etc. Also the temperature of the water was easily adjustable. The two cashiers working were also amazing. I was browsing the store afterwards, in need of quite a few things. The girl working explained the different training harnesses, which I needed, and was extremely knowledgeable and kind. They both went out of their way to help set Indiana up in the new harness and help me figure everything out. I was pretty exhausted from doing the wash, and hadn't had coffee yet so I was moving pretty slowly! Anyways, long story short, great wash facilities, great store selection, even greater staff. I took my dog here today March 6th we walked from dog beach to wag n tails the staff informed me that the tubs we're full but we were welcome to use the grooming tub in the back. every staff member I passed by asked if I was doing okay or needed anything and petted Carolina. Wow, what service!! We were down in Coronado for a veteran's fundraiser. It's a dress up affair and we had my husband's service dog with us. Katie is a golden retriever and she had spent an hour in Glorietta Bay chasing sticks. On our way to the event, we saw Wag'n Tails and we stopped in for a dog wash. WOW what service! Friendly, knowledgeable and when we bought a new collar, they offered to transfer all the tags from the old collar. They were right there helping us with everything, but weren't pushy at all. I was referred to Wag N Tails by my amazing dog sitter this past week because my Lab had a injured paw and needed a product safe for dogs to sterilize his paw. I went into the store and was immediately greeted by Brian with a doggie treat. I needed some advice on how to help my dog and he was super helpful and gave me some great recommendations for my dog meanwhile loving on my pup!! I had to come back a few days later after taking my pup to the vet (Brian's recommendation) because he continued to have issues with his paw. Brian helped me find a recovery collar to fit my dog that was WAY better than the stiff plastic cone they gave me at the vet. He also gave me advice on how to prevent my dog's allergies and spent more than 15 minutes talking to me during a busy time of the day. He gave me samples of raw frozen organic foods for my dog and in general made me feel like what My dog and I needed was he most important thing at that time. Some others have left negative reviews here and being a Coronado resident myself I think their expectations are ridiculous! Maybe a little entitled but hey that's just me!
