A group after us wasn't as patient. They walked into the bar area and were seated immediately. Huh. Why didn't we think of that!?! BUT we only had to wait ten minutes, which was not a long wait. Liv was our waitress. She told us that they had no more corned beef or roast beef. Husband wanted the corned beef and I was going to have the Weck Roast Beef. Not now! Soup of the day was potato & ham. We both ordered a cup. It was not as thick or as well seasoned as we hoped it would be. It was okay. Husband ordered fried shrimp for dinner with applesauce and coleslaw. My appetite was not that big, so I just had the Caesar salad. All of the food was okay. Coleslaw was vinegary, and Husband prefers creamy & sweet. So he didn't eat all of it. He said the applesauce was sweet and good. He also liked the shrimp. My Caesar salad was as expected - romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and croutons with Caesar salad dressing. It was fine. Bathroom was fun. Liked the trivia and the unique sign to direct patrons to put ONLY toilet paper in the bowl.
