Hot Pepper Steak Pizza, chicken fingers and small fry
    Amanda J.

The food was delicious! My pizza was very tasty, and spicy if you like peppers! Chicken fingers and fries were cooked well, and the bbq sauce for dipping was yummy. Service was great as our waiter made sure we had everything we needed and refills on our drinks. Ambiance of restaurant was good as there are a selection of booths, tables, and bar stools to sit at. There are many TVs around to watch sports, and a dart game to play.

Stopped into this small little spot hoping to grab a quick slice. $3 for a slice. Not big in size, or in flavor. I got a slice of cheese. It was okay for the price tag, nothing outstanding but not bad either. Really...just...average. ‍

Came during lunch time on a weekday and it was empty. You can't go wrong with a chicken caesar wrap. Fries were hot and crispy. The wrap was also delicious! The chicken wasn't dry and the dressing was flavorful.

Another takeout order, this time Raintree Bar and Grill . Our order consisted of Steak &Cheese Ciabatta, Turkey Bacon Ranch, Angelo Stromboli and an order of Onion Rings. Sandwiches were excellent. Onion rings were very good , including the spicy sauce that accompanied them . The Stromboli was just ok, seemed to be rather bland, said it included cherry peppers, there were none. Marinara sauce that came with it was very good.

    Reuben soup! Delicious!

Wow! Excellent Restaurant Week special! 3 course meal for $20 had large servings and was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Reuben soup to start with, and loved everything about it. The shredded corned beef, the caraway seeds, and creaminess... yum! The jager schnitzel entree was HUGE and topped with bacon, onions, mushrooms, and gravy. Delicious! Took half home! For dessert I got the pretzel trio, which was three hot pretzel logs, covered in sugar and each drizzled with a different sauce. Great quality food, good service, and great Restaurant Week deal!! Will definitely come back here again.

I want to drink a gallon of this delicious gravy.

Up until last Tuesday I have never heard of the Raintree Bar & Grill and never even knew it existed, but thanks to Buffalo's Restaurant Week I stumbled upon a menu and headed here for some dinner. This isn't my typical kind of place as it pretty much looks like a local town bar form both the inside and out, I was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful service and food that came along with it. The special included a soup, an entree, and a dessert for $20.19 and it was a steal. My soup was a pasta e fagioli and it was made very well. The soup had good flavour and overall tasted very, very good. I ended up picking the country fried pork chop's which was served with mashed potaoes and I definitely got more then what I expected with them. The white gravy with mushrooms that covered the top of the pork chop was absolutely amazing and worked some magic on me. The meat itself was kind of hidden behind the deliciousness of the gravy and that's A-OK in my books. The mashed potatoes which were also covered in the gravy were also super delicious as well. For dessert, I chose the Brownie egg roll which was certainly a strange combination. Since I was super full, I actually saved this for the next day but did enjoy it for what it was. The brownie itself was tasty and even though the egg roll was a weird combo with the brownie, the ice cream on the side made up for it and ended up being great. Overall, I enjoyed my expedience at Raintree Bar & Restaurant and even though it wasn't my usual type of place, I enjoyed both the service and the food and that's really all a man can ask for. Give this place a shot, its definitely worth the chance!

    Beautiful and spacious outdoor patio.

This is the place to be on Saturday afternoon, from 2-5. They have live blues bands and no cover charge. Our favorite Saturday afternoon band is 12 Pack Jack, because they have an awesome sound and play lots of solid tunes. The beer is cold and there are plenty to choose from. We had wings today and the danger sauce is very flavorful and not painfully hot. The subs and pizza are always great. Anna was our server, and she is very friendly and efficient. The crowd is older and many love to dance and have fun. There is an outdoor patio as well for nice weather, and lots of parking. If you join the birthday club, you get a free entree on your birthday. On my last birthday, I had a delicious steak, on the house. Huzzah!

The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

Tables were too close, people are way too loud. I can't eat in loud surroundings. I don't like that, and it was so hot in there that it made me very uncomfortable. I believe all restaurants and bars, etc. should be air-conditioned and make people comfortable. If they're too cold, they can always put on a jacket but when you're too hot, I can't take much off. I ordered the roast beef on Weck and fries instead of potato chips. I was very satisfied it was delicious. Very expensive, I found everything was very expensive on the menu, but if you want good food, I guess that's what you gotta do is pay more. Jim ordered mild wings, they still looked good even though I'm a hot wing person. I was looking at everybody else's huge plates of wings that were coming out and they looked so amazing. I'm definitely gonna get some to take home some time. Anyway, the wings looked good smelled good, Jim said they were very good, my sandwich was good. The fries were good, the waitresses were nice so the service was pretty good. But again too small, too loud, too hot, and those things just don't make me happy. I probably would go in there again and eat if somebody else wanted to, but I'd rather take my food to go next time. One other issue I had is definitely the restroom. That had to be the smallest stall I have ever been in. Anytime I moved I banged into one of the walls. They have two stalls in there, which to me is definitely not enough when you're serving "spicy hot " food. At one point there was five people in the restroom. Luckily, I just had to wash my hands in that visit. But the restroom is way too small and when I talk to Jim about the ladies room, he said the men's room is super small too, so they're probably about the same size. So that was definitely a negative thing for me was the restroom.

When seated at these tables, you have to order at the bar. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the nuggiez -- the sauce cooled the boneless bites down a little, but the flavor was still great. I loved all the sauces we tried (saucy hot cajun, medium, and garlic parm). The wings were perfectly crisp, and the steak pizza had a ton of flavor. Definitely a heavier meal, but if you're bringing someone from out of town who wants great wings, this is a spot worth taking them to.

I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.
