On Friday 9/23/2022 I took a wheel/tire in for a simple flat repair. I already had the wheel off so I left it there while I ran some errands. About an hour later I went to see if it was done and yes it was. Now I didn't ask to have it mounted back on my truck but the service personal insisted. I figured what the heck, no need for me to get back home and go through the hassle of doing it myself. It was remounted and even had the same tire pressure as all the other tires. We were on vacation, and our tire light kept coming on. We went to a gas station once to fill up the tires, but then the light came on again. We were driving in a remote area on our way to the place we were staying when we noticed Wagoner Tires. We pulled in and were immediately helped. The mechanics looked at the tires and told us they were bald, and they were right. They didn't have the size of tires in stock, but they told us they'd have them the next day and to get there right when they opened. I got an inspection at a shop in Austin on Sunday to prep for a 1,000-mile drive west on Wednesday. Lo and behold, my maintenance light came on as I left Wednesday morning from work. I pulled into another shop, who informed me a screw was lodged in the side of my tire. It would need to be replaced. The first tire shop I came to had a 3 hour wait, which was not an option for me. The second shop was on the southwest edge of Austin, and they didn't have the right kind of tire. I asked if there were any more shops west of them that might be able to help. "Yeahhh...there's this place Wagoner Tire a few miles down." He seemed skeptical, but I was desperate for anything to work since I was already behind schedule. I pulled into Wagoner and informed them that I needed a new tire (as confirmed by the second tire shop). "Well let's see the tire first," they responded. A brief inspection followed. "We can patch that." "But it's on the side of the tire?" "See this line? Past this line--" "But the other shops told me--" "We're better than most shops." 30 minutes, 18 bucks, and I've traveled 2,000 miles with that perfect little patch. This is the best tire shop around. I have been coming here for years. Today, my stupid $@8 ran over a curb and blew out my tire. They sent someone to my aid and got me a new tire within minutes. These guys are always honest and helpful. My 17 year old son first stopped by Lambs Auto in Bee Caves to get his tire fixed which had a screw in it. He was driving on the spare. He was told it couldn't be fixed and got approx $180 estimate for a new tire, rotation etc. I sent him to Wagoner Tire in Dripping Springs, who I trust, and they fixed the perfectly good tire for less that $20 including putting the spare back in place.
