The sauces were delicious but since we took out, not sure if we were eating the right chicken and sauce combination. We were just using all the sauces and they were still delicious. This used to be my #1 favorite place to eat at before covid. I used to eat here all the time when they had the jars of ginger on the table. I also used to bring all my friends here to eat bc I love their half and half chicken plates (steamed and grilled) with papaya salad and soup. I used to order the crying tiger too but sometimes it gets overcooked and tastes gummy. I still eat here but i guess i get annoyed that they want to charge 99 cents for each extra ginger. I got the smallest size with half grilled and half poached chicken, rice, and all the sauces. It was definitely plenty of food, but nothing about the meal really wowed me. The poached chicken had a clean flavor and the skin was left on, but I expected it to be much more tender. It was just okay. The grilled chicken had a bit more flavor, but it still fell short of being amazing. I thought the rice would have a stronger chicken flavor, but it was lacking something. Honestly, it tasted like plain rice that would be better used for making fried rice the next day. Even the three different sauces they provided were just average. I always feel bad leaving a middle of the road review for a small business in such a competitive food scene, but this is strictly based on my catering experience. However, we noticed a bunch of take out orders lined up and as the night went on, a lot of people were coming in and out to pick up their food. This must be a very popular restaurant for take out. The server was very friendly and took our order. My wife ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and I ordered the Spicy Basil with Pork, spicy level spicy. My wife enjoyed her Pad Thai and I really enjoyed my spicy basil. The pork was flavorful and the spicy level was on point. A few days later, we called to place a small party tray for Pad Thai and party tray of 40 Satay Chicken. The Pad Thai comes with the toppings separated out on top in case you want to take something out. Otherwise, you can mix it up after. It also came with lemon and peanuts on the side. The satay chicken came with satay sauce in a separate container and another sauce with cucumber in it. Our group of friends really enjoyed both dishes and it was enough for about 6-7 people.
