All in all, it's not bad. On ambiance, Joyness Eating (San Gabriel) is well-maintained. There's about five tables, and the location felt fairly clean. There's a gender neutral restroom, a big bottle of hand sanitizer, restful music, and a self-service water station. It felt comfortable. I found this hidden gem today and thought it was delicious! I got the braised pork flatbread, the braised pork knuckle flatbread, and the pickled fish which comes with rice. Portions are mostly made up by large servings of rices. The location is a little depressing because they use wall-high one-way posters where you can't see inside at all. You can barely tell if the place is open.
