    Room 3B

This review is for building 3. Room 3B Pros: Clean Free parking Washer and dryer in room Kitchen stocked with all the essential cooking items. Plenty of toiletries, clean towels. Nice patio overlooking tropical plants Quiet area Safe Walking distance to beach Cons: Not many. It is about 45-50 min away from Lahaina and Kaanapali. It got a little humid at night in the room This place was really super nice to stay at. Check in was contactless. They sent me a text with all the info I needed. The room has a keyless entry door knob. The room is a condo. It has a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, couch, bed, closet. This condo really had everything we needed to include beach chairs, beach towels, iron, ironing board, toiletries. The little extra, like zip lock bags, were a nice plus. We never used the grill, but it's an option. The bed was comfortable. They had enough pillows. The fridge has an ice maker which came in handy when taking the ice chest (provided in the room) to the beach. The bathroom is about normal size. The toiletries provided include shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bar soap. A hair dryer is available too. The only thing I would change is the shower head. We had to face it against the wall because if not, it would spray water outside the tub. The washer and dryer was heaven sent. We were able to wash our towels and beach attire easily. They provided us with laundry detergent. Parking is free and each building has their own spots. They aren't assigned. We never had trouble finding parking. They even have an area to wash your car. The main pool and beach access is a 5-10 minute walk from building three. The main pool is nice and it gets as deep as 7 feet. They have plenty of lounge chairs in the pool area. A bathroom is also available. The beach is clean. They don't have any chair/umbrella service, but many people took their own chairs and enjoyed it. There are some rocky areas in the ocean. I would suggest water shoes. Extras: - Island gourmet market is a short drive or walk away. They have everything you need at good prices: coffee shop, hot food to go, groceries, souvenirs, liquor. One stop shop - there's plenty of nice beaches nearby. Most are a 10 minute drive.

Best vacation ever i had in my life here. The condos are spacious and very clean. Has everything needed to cook and BBQs are everywhere on the property. I will come back for sure in the future.

Would you like to sleep to the sound of crashing waves, or wake up to the sound of birdsong, wind rustling in the trees, and crashing waves? Then read on. I rented a studio for my 7-day stay in Maui. I spent several weeks looking for the right accommodation y'all, I am picky as a mf, but you already know that. When I came across the listing at Wailea Ekahi Village, the "300 feet from the beach" peaked my interest. Unit 8C is on the ground floor, surrounded by colorful, tropical plants. It is private, clean and the perfect getaway for a solo traveler or couple. I was comfortable with walking around er, um, sans clothing without worry. That is how private this unit is. Once you pass your garden barrier, however, an expansive lawn, and a row of Palm trees lead to a path toward the entrance of the lanai and out to the private beach access. This lanai is unlike any I have seen before. It has a massive kitchen, and grill area. You could easily feed at least 50 people. There are multiple areas for seating, lounge chairs, table and chairs, and sofa sets. All that was missing was a bed and baby crib! So many options for comfort. From the lanai 6 stairs down give you access to a private beach that stretches all the way to Hale Hui Kai headed north. If you head south, there are rocks and tide pools. If you have time, walk the stretch sand, the coast is beautiful. There is a heated pool at the lanai area as well. I sat on the edge one evening with my feet in the water listening to the waves, the water temperature kept me warm on a cool winter night. Wailea Ekahi is on the border and much closer to Wailea than Kihei area. I walked to the Shops at Wailea in under 15 minutes. On the return however it was more like 5 minutes. Could have been because I was two Mai Tai's in but whatever I was back in a flash! So skip the car, ride a bike or walk if you are venturing to any of the shops or resorts in the area. The grounds are impeccably maintained. You ever watch a baseball game and see the sweeping crew come out at the 7th inning, to tidy the field? It was like that! I saw at minimum 10 golf carts and groundskeepers as early as 7:30am sweeping, trimming and maintaining the grounds. For a gardener, this place is #goals. The property is landscaped with Palm trees, Banana trees,Hibiscus, plumeria, and varieties of succulent. Hands down this is going to be my go to spot when visiting Maui. Check it out!

These are all privately owned condos, so it's hit or miss what you will get. Could be a place not updated since 1980, or a very nice place just a short walk to the pool and beach like ours (unit 34B). We rented through Airbnb so we knew exactly what we were getting beforehand, not sure your options when going through the property's management company. That said, while we like the unit we were in and would recommend it, the management company is pretty stingy. I paid over $250 a day and they expect me to buy my own toilet paper? (They provide two rolls only.). This isn't a summer rental, I'm here for just a week, the property should supply toilet paper. (They backed down and delivered more rolls when I balked.)

In comparison to some other brands such as Aman, Four Seasons Maui felt below average given its price point. The resort itself felt small and a bit old. The service felt very below average and inconsistent. One employee would tell you the sun umbrellas at the pools near the bushes are not adjustable while literally 2 mins later another employee came and adjusted the sun umbrella next to me and also mine when I asked. When we went to the adult pool we were told by one employee that we needed to be on a waitlist. After 3 hours when we finally got notified that it was our turn and went back we noticed other guests just literally went and grabbed empty benches and staffs were just setting the benches up for them(no, they didn't even know there was a waitlist)... Our canoe experience at the last day of our stay got canceled due to high wind and the concierge never notified us etc. Many employees gave me the vibe that they don't really care. They just gave me fake smiles and robotic responses. Maybe Amond would take better care of us...if he is still alive... The view was very amazing. We even spotted whales many times.

Additionally, the decor and staff showcased the incredibly rich cultural history of the area. The diverse flora around the resort was great as well. The parking lot was small as they were doing construction on a large portion of the lot. It was a struggle to find parking at times during our stay. Despite the limited parking, the valet parking garage with plenty of parking was still closed off. The room service was great. Staff were courteous and professional and service was provided very quickly. I forgot my phone charger in my car and staff went to the car and delivered the charger to my room. This was such a great example of service. Amenities such as a shave kit, soaps, additional coffee pods were also provided throughout our stay. One thing that was not provided that was requested, however was a lint roller. This seems like a simple accommodation that should be available at a 5-star resort. The room was clean and had great views of the resort and ocean. A corporate event was being hosted on the property which had a fire dancing ceremony. We were able to watch this from our room which was pretty cool. The only issue with the room was some difficulties connecting to the TV and accessing YouTube and Disney+. We ended up giving up on using the TV and watched TV on our laptop. Overall this was a wonderful stay, but fell a little short of what a 5-star resort experience should be.

From start to finish, our entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel staff were all extremely kind and engaging, offering helpful tips and suggestions. We had nothing but positive interactions with the valet and the front desk. The staff that work at the on-site restaurants were also lovely. Our ocean view room was clean and spacious. It had all of the amenities we could hope for and the shower had wonderful water pressure. My only request would be that there was a shelf in the shower to put the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as we ended up having to put them on the floor and bending over in the shower while pregnant is not an easy task. The linens were soft and I appreciated the opportunity to earn food and beverage credit or Hilton reward points if we opted out of having our room cleaned each day. The blackout curtains in the room were also wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony each evening and listening to the live music that was performed each night down by the pool. There was ample pool space with plenty of pool chairs, both in the sun and in the shade. Access to the beach was extremely easy. While we were there, we also took part in morning yoga, access to the complementary aquatic activities, a sound bath under the full moon, and the infamous luau. I also booked a prenatal massage at the spa, which was absolutely divine. Access to the Courtesy Car to drop us off at nearby restaurants for reservations was extremely convenient. We appreciated the complementary reusable water bottles and the local snacks and beverages that were restocked in our mini bar. My son and I were still in the pool on July 6th or 7th at ~8:20pm. I wasn't paying attention to the time. We were on vacation having a good time. Well I later realized the pool closes at 8pm and I genuinely hadn't noticed the posted sign. An employee (an elderly haole man) came outside and yelled "GET OUT OF THE POOL!!" to which I immediately replied, "OK I'm sorry sir, we are getting out, my apologies I wasn't aware of the time" and we IMMEDIATELY started leaving the pool. Despite that, he continued yelling "GET OUT OF THE POOL!!" I am not kidding he yelled at the top of his lungs at least 5x more times. To the point that I responded that we were already getting out and had apologized, and that repeating it was unnecessary. His response was, "Well, you guys don't know how to read the sign, so you clearly need to be told several times." Wow. I completely understand the pool has posted hours and have no issue being asked to leave once I realized it was closed. That part was my mistake. What was disappointing was the way my 11 year old son and I were treated after we immediately complied. There was no reason to repeatedly yell at us or make disrespectful comments. Guests deserve to be treated with courtesy, even when they've made an honest mistake. I hope management addresses how guests are spoken to, because this interaction left a very negative impression. As a suggestion, it might help to automatically turn the pool lights off (if this happened we would have left immediately) and/or disable the gate keypad when the pool closes. We honestly didn't realize the posted hours and those changes would make it much more obvious that the pool was closed while also preventing situations like this. Because of this my family and I will never stay here again. There are plenty of other options just as good or better on Maui. TLDR: The pool closes at 8pm! If in the pool after be prepared to get yelled at by the staff repeatedly with disrespectful comments made to you and your children.

We came back Oct 1st 2025- and was so disappointed to see how this place has gone down. There was no wi-fi available for this room. Had to go on deck since no service in room. poorly managed, amenities are not accurately depicted in the pictures posted online. Condo does not address repairs -AC filter was filthy and the AC would not cool until the filter was removed. None of my concerns were ever addressed after many text messages and calls. I spent my time calling and text messaging OWNER. Upon entering the room, we were immediately confronted with the following unsanitary and unacceptable conditions:-Heavy dust accumulation on multiple surfaces, indicating a lack of routine cleaning-What we didn't know the unit smelled musty/moldy, None of this shows on pictures. This is not the first negative review of this complex. They date back to 2012. This is an ongoing issue and all they care about is renting regardless of the condition of the units.
