Unit 18C is extremely noisy - do not book it. It is located right next to a busy road, with only a small strip of bushes separating it from traffic, which feels unsafe for children. The traffic noise is constant, so it's impossible to relax on the balcony. The map location is incorrect -- the unit is right next to the road. Also, behind the wall next to the bed there is an electrical panel, and you can hear a continuous knocking/ticking sound (every second), like someone tapping on the wall. Sleeping is very difficult. We asked management to move us to another unit and even offered to pay extra, because their website showed other units available. They refused and told us to buy earplugs and cover our ears. If you are looking for a quiet vacation, avoid Unit 18C. read more

If you want to stay in Wailea, nothing beats this option! The condos come with a fully stocked kitchen and a washer/dryer in unit. There are 4 pools on the property and it's a family friendly resort. The main pool overlooks the ocean and since it's on the beach, it's pretty convenient. I stayed here in July 2024 and saw the sunrise while having my coffee and walking on the beach almost every day. The rooms have a nice balcony and I loved watching the sunset from the grounds or from my balcony. The beach is the best part of staying here. Sand is so soft, it's unbelievable. It's a 5 min drive from all the restaurants in Kihei and parking is free on site. Management is very responsive. When I needed more coffee, they send it over immediately. Check in and check out is pretty smooth and easy process. If you are interested in staying in south Maui/ Wailea, this is a great option! I'll definitely be back. read more

We stayed in Kihei Surfside Unit 212, managed by Pauli Family Condos that we booked from the Wailea Ekahi Village Resort Website. Based on the listing's description of a "quiet, peaceful retreat." That characterization was misleading given the actual conditions. The condo itself was clean and had a beautiful ocean view. However, the environment was consistently loud due to the lawn directly in front of the unit, which functions as a heavily used public gathering space. This was not clearly disclosed in the listing and is not consistent with the expectation of a quiet stay. That lawn is state land leased from the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, functioning as a public gathering area. Throughout our visit, the lawn was used daily by large numbers of non-guests for soccer, cornhole, baseball, picnics, and group gatherings. Activity typically ran from around 10 AM to 9 PM. Dogs were frequently off-leash, and drones were flown over the area on multiple days, despite typical restrictions in state-managed beach areas. The first several days were especially disruptive. One-bedroom units directly below ours hosted large groups (including up to six adults and a child in a single unit, four adults and four children in another), with much of their time spent outside. This resulted in constant shouting, loud conversations, and children crying or screaming directly below our unit for extended periods. We measured sound levels using a phone app, generally ranging from approximately 55-90 dB on the lawn, with higher spikes. Even indoors with doors closed, the noise was persistent and could not be masked by the TV. We contacted management multiple times. The on-site manager took limited action and suggested we could leave if we were unhappy. Matt Pauli did not respond to voicemails, and no meaningful solution was provided during our stay. We requested relocation to other available properties, but this was not accommodated. Instead, partial compensation and a future discount were offered after the fact, which did not address the situation while we were there. This situation could have been mitigated or resolved, but no practical steps were taken. This property may suit travelers looking for a lively, active, family-oriented environment near a public beach area. However, those expecting a quiet, peaceful retreat should be aware that the setting--particularly for second floor units--can be consistently noisy, and management response may be limited if issues arise. read more

It got a little humid at night in the room This place was really super nice to stay at. Check in was contactless. They sent me a text with all the info I needed. The room has a keyless entry door knob. The room is a condo. It has a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, couch, bed, closet. This condo really had everything we needed to include beach chairs, beach towels, iron, ironing board, toiletries. The little extra, like zip lock bags, were a nice plus. We never used the grill, but it's an option. The bed was comfortable. They had enough pillows. The fridge has an ice maker which came in handy when taking the ice chest (provided in the room) to the beach. The bathroom is about normal size. The toiletries provided include shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bar soap. A hair dryer is available too. The only thing I would change is the shower head. We had to face it against the wall because if not, it would spray water outside the tub. The washer and dryer was heaven sent. We were able to wash our towels and beach attire easily. They provided us with laundry detergent. Parking is free and each building has their own spots. They aren't assigned. We never had trouble finding parking. They even have an area to wash your car. The main pool and beach access is a 5-10 minute walk from building three. The main pool is nice and it gets as deep as 7 feet. They have plenty of lounge chairs in the pool area. A bathroom is also available. The beach is clean. They don't have any chair/umbrella service, but many people took their own chairs and enjoyed it. There are some rocky areas in the ocean. I would suggest water shoes. Extras: - Island gourmet market is a short drive or walk away. They have everything you need at good prices: coffee shop, hot food to go, groceries, souvenirs, liquor. One stop shop - there's plenty of nice beaches nearby. Most are a 10 minute drive. read more

Would you like to sleep to the sound of crashing waves, or wake up to the sound of birdsong, wind rustling in the trees, and crashing waves? Then read on. I rented a studio for my 7-day stay in Maui. I spent several weeks looking for the right accommodation y'all, I am picky as a mf, but you already know that. When I came across the listing at Wailea Ekahi Village, the "300 feet from the beach" peaked my interest. Unit 8C is on the ground floor, surrounded by colorful, tropical plants. It is private, clean and the perfect getaway for a solo traveler or couple. I was comfortable with walking around er, um, sans clothing without worry. That is how private this unit is. Once you pass your garden barrier, however, an expansive lawn, and a row of Palm trees lead to a path toward the entrance of the lanai and out to the private beach access. This lanai is unlike any I have seen before. It has a massive kitchen, and grill area. You could easily feed at least 50 people. There are multiple areas for seating, lounge chairs, table and chairs, and sofa sets. All that was missing was a bed and baby crib! So many options for comfort. From the lanai 6 stairs down give you access to a private beach that stretches all the way to Hale Hui Kai headed north. If you head south, there are rocks and tide pools. If you have time, walk the stretch sand, the coast is beautiful. There is a heated pool at the lanai area as well. I sat on the edge one evening with my feet in the water listening to the waves, the water temperature kept me warm on a cool winter night. Wailea Ekahi is on the border and much closer to Wailea than Kihei area. I walked to the Shops at Wailea in under 15 minutes. On the return however it was more like 5 minutes. Could have been because I was two Mai Tai's in but whatever I was back in a flash! So skip the car, ride a bike or walk if you are venturing to any of the shops or resorts in the area. The grounds are impeccably maintained. You ever watch a baseball game and see the sweeping crew come out at the 7th inning, to tidy the field? It was like that! I saw at minimum 10 golf carts and groundskeepers as early as 7:30am sweeping, trimming and maintaining the grounds. For a gardener, this place is #goals. The property is landscaped with Palm trees, Banana trees,Hibiscus, plumeria, and varieties of succulent. Hands down this is going to be my go to spot when visiting Maui. Check it out! read more

These are all privately owned condos, so it's hit or miss what you will get. Could be a place not updated since 1980, or a very nice place just a short walk to the pool and beach like ours (unit 34B). We rented through Airbnb so we knew exactly what we were getting beforehand, not sure your options when going through the property's management company. That said, while we like the unit we were in and would recommend it, the management company is pretty stingy. I paid over $250 a day and they expect me to buy my own toilet paper? (They provide two rolls only.). This isn't a summer rental, I'm here for just a week, the property should supply toilet paper. (They backed down and delivered more rolls when I balked.) read more

Quiet, beautifully landscaped, on a scenic beach in Wailea. We are staying in a one bedroom condo that has an awesome view. It takes a few minutes walking down through the hillside garden to reach the main pool and private beach entrance but it's a very nice walk. You can request a beachside condo if you prefer but it wasn't important for us. The unit we have is equipped with full kitchen, washer dryer, large smart tv so we were able to stream from our Amazon account. The king sized bed is very welcome after a day of island exploring and the bathroom has a tub shower combination. There is a gas bbq on the patio that is easy to use. While the place is a bit dated that just didn't matter. The air conditioning works well and doesn't require an engineering degree to figure out. Housekeeping comes around daily if you need the help. We vacation on Maui every few years and we're happy to find a place to call home when we come again. read more

We have stayed at a 4-5 condos in Ekahi. This time we stayed at # 7a. First I'll say we like it and might stay again although it is pricey compared to others. So we expected it to be especially nice but no: fairly average and comfortable. If you are someone who likes a well stocked condo this is not it. Pots and pans are minimal, no spices or oil left behind, no grill either. That said we liked the privacy and it is nice enough, no major problems and located within an easy walk of the beach. If their prices compared to others in the category we would be back next year for our ten days. Maybe D. The Ekahi Village is the perfect place for families, large groups or couples who simply want a quiet and relaxing Hawaiian vacation. There are no high rises to be seen and you have a private beach with perfect sized waves for kids to boogie board. There is snorkeling right in front as well. I saw multiple sea turtles and lots of beautiful fish while simply swimming with my kids. There is a pavilion and pool next to the beach which is great for large groups to cook, play games or simply hang out. I liked being away from the crowds and huge buildings, but that does mean having to drive to shops and restaurants. There is a walking path on the beach you can take to the Marriot Wailea and other hotels. It's a beautiful walk, so if you don't mind walking a bit of a distance, than you are good. We really enjoyed the luau at the Marriot. Very family friendly and you face the ocean (unlike other luaus), which made for a spectacular sunset! The village is very large, so look closely at a site map to make sure your condo isn't way in the back next to the road. You could end up with a 20 minute walk down a hill to the beach, which means quite the haul back up with all of your beach gear! We rented 1B and it was perfect! A five minute walk to the beach/pool and the unit has recently been totally redone! Very classy upgrades and the perfect size for my family of four. My two boys shared the Murphy bed, which worked great but may be challenging for another couple or teenagers. The owners provide everything, which means you aren't out buying laundry soap or toilet paper. They provided two boogie boards, pool noodles and snorkeling gear. The snorkeling gear wasn't great, so I would suggest renting or buying your own. My only complaint about this unit was the master bed. I realize It's impossible to provide a bed that is comfortable for everyone, but this bed was way too firm. I did not have one good night sleep while here. I am going to suggest they the owners provide a pillow topper for this bed, but again, what is uncomfortable for me may be perfect for you! Loved our week at the Ekahi and will definitely return! It is important to remember that this isn't a "resort". There is no lobby, restaurant, bar or concierge, only maintenance staff. You are on your own to research and book your excursions, restaurants etc.. Personally, I love the fact that you are on your own. It is so quiet and relaxing with very few people to be seen! Like most vacation condos anywhere, each is individually owned and just how well it's maintained is up to the owner. We stretched our budget for a stellar condo with a great view and booked through Destination Resorts. The owner of our unit had recently remodeled did a truly fantastic job. I asked the cleaning staff if other units were this nice and she said several were. Keep in mind that all of the buildings here are generally the same stacked configuration - ground level 'garden' units have a vaulted ceiling unit above. Generally, you get what you pay for. Views cost more and are most likely with the upper level units. Condos near the road or up the hill may be a little cheaper. So insist on seeing pix inside and out, then locate your unit on the complex's online map. The location of the Wailea Ekahi complex is tough to beat in this price range. It's got beach access (which few places have). Nice pools - often empty. And its a quick drive to Kehei for dinner or Makena beach for sun. For some reason finding pix of the grounds can be difficult, but it's actually very nicely landscaped and quiet. We'll be back! read more

I want to preface this review by saying that I love the Ekahi Village complex. I have stayed in the complex a number of times in different units and I will continue to patronize other units in the complex that value customer service, my time and my money. The complex is well kept, is in close proximity to my favorite beach and the pool areas are very comfortable. That being said I will never stay in unit 51E again. My intention for writing this review is not to bash this unit. My intention is to share my experience so that when you are planning your vacation you have all of the facts about 51E. I will say that 51E is an okay unit. It has remodeled bathrooms and an updated kitchen. The amenities were fine. What was extremely disappointing was the customer service that we received from the owners of the unit. We paid for a unit with air conditioning and for the first 12 hours of our stay that is what we received. On the morning of day 2 we noticed that the air conditioning units in both the bedroom and living room were not functioning properly. On all of the correspondence that I received from the owners there were three phone numbers to call if we were experiencing any problems. I ended up leaving multiple messages on multiple days and never received a response during our stay. For the remaining 5 days of our vacation we were inconvenienced and at times uncomfortable due to the lack of air conditioning. When we returned from our vacation I tried to find another way to communicate with the owner and found a link to e-mail her. She said that she was out of the country and wasn't able to receive voicemails or phone calls. She apologized but there was no offer of compensation for the broken air conditioning. I sent her another e-mail asking for a refund of one nights stay. I felt that was only fair since we had paid for a unit with air conditioning and that is not what was delivered. She sent me an e-mail back saying that they had invested a great deal of money in the remodel of the condo and that she would not be refunding me. Bottom line: The owner did not value our time and money. We did not get what we paid for. I would avoid 51E at all costs. There are other units in the complex owned by people who value customer service. read more

Decent condominium: well maintained and clean. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Nice pools and beach access. The unit my family was staying was advertised for 6 guests. However, the sofa bed was so uncomfortable with springs poking your back- quarantined back pain after sleeping on it. Also, they were only 2 covers. The worst part was AC - each room has AC small unit that is incredibly loud. We could not sleep because of the noise or heat ( with AC off). read more

We love Ekahi. Unit 20C has been recently remodeled. It is a very spacious 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condo and is very close to the beach. We could hear the surf all night long. Keawakapu is a fabulous Maui beach! The 2nd bedroom suite has a sitting area with TV. This is perfect for teens and/ or another couple. Ekahi has low rise buildings with four pools. This is a review for unit 19B. I read another reviewer who gave this place a bad review, but I can not understand why. This condo was so comfortable and well maintained. Even my wife, who is very picky, loved it! We had a great time and that is in very large part thanks to the great accommodations. The kitchen was well equipped and comfortable. The bed was SO NICE! The most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in in all the condos I have rented. That is a rarity when traveling. I loved hearing the ocean and the birds, walking down to the beach and my kids loved the great pool. The shower with the view was incredible! The location was absolutely ideal! Everything was perfect! This place is a winner and I have already told several people about it and would recommend your place to anyone who is going to Maui. In a word, excellent. There really is nothing we would have changed about this home away from home. I originally booked 28b for three adults, but we ended up being two adult couples sharing the one bed two bath - it was extremely comfortable, largely in part due to the two big bathrooms (one en suite) and well thought out layout of the lounge and dining area. Kim, the owner, has gone to great lengths to tastefully decorate throughout and also equip the apartment with everything you might need - zip locks, washing powder, cascade, bathroom tissue - there is no need to stock up on the basics. The sleeper couch looked new and was as comfortable as sleeping on a regular bed. One of the best things about this unit is the spacious lanai, complete with BBQ, soft couch chairs and two sun loungers. Unlike the upstairs units it feels much bigger because you can walk right out onto the grass and down to the pool which is a stone's throw away (there are four pools including a kids one at the Pavilion, but this one is much quieter and less frequented which we really appreciated). The birds and lizards also walk right on up to investigate so you feel closer to nature and less like you're in a 'one of many' condo suite. We also loved the way the plants and flowers had been creatively arranged to provide optimum privacy without blocking the stunning ocean views. Full beach gear included: boogie boards, beach towels, comfy fold away chairs (both adult and kids), lilo, flippers, different size coolers and bat, balls and basic tennis rackets (there is a court behind the quiet pool). The only minor con was that our unit was missing the fresh fruit basket on arrival (the housekeeper didn't have our arrival date marked but the unit was spotlessly clean and ready regardless). Truth be told, had the housekeeper not bought up the fresh fruit basket, we wouldn't have been expecting one - a nice personal touch not offered by many, I would recommend this unit without hesitation and will definitely be coming back. If you're a snorkel fan you're also a stroll or short car ride away from some of the best spots on the island. read more

First time in a condo in Wailea (usually stay at the Kea Lani but it was just my wife and I this time). Took a chance on Ehkahi which we have passed many times. Excellent unit 16A with ocean view (better view from upstairs lanai but could still see it from down stairs). Nice upgraded clean and modern upstairs/downstairs unit with great kitchen, living room, and lanai looking out on the lawn and views toward West Maui mountains. Upstairs king bed with a separate loft bedroom with two twins (sloping ceiling in this room makes it only useful for kids). Big masterbath with lots of counterspace. Plenty of parking and convenient location minutes to Shoppes, Kihei, restaurants, and Keawakapu Beach. Very quiet and a good place for couples or families with small children. Pools are small and they discourage floats, noodles, and pool games and there is no Jacuzzi so probably less good for older kids. Beach and grounds are windier here than the protected Polo Beach and Wailea Beach. No onsite amenities (shop, restaurant, activities). read more

This person markets through several booking sites but prefers to have people book directly with her (against VRBO and other agreements) but if you have to cancel, as in a Covid-19 emergency situation, you will be surprised that this person will refuse to offer a refund. This is a fine place to take your kids, but I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic getaway. The pools are not heated and are somewhat clean. It's a major uphill hike back from the pool and beach - not recommended if you are physically impaired at all. Ekahi complex is one of the most beautiful and botanically lush places on Maui. If you wander the grounds the amount of different floral and fruit plants will astound you. I took a photo of a rare mushroom that was only out for a few hours. PLUS it situated on the most beautiful sand beach for strolls, swimming, boogie boarding, and snorkeling. And the sunsets are incredible whether you're in the condo, at the main pool, or right on the beach. read more

Wailea Ekahi 16B - condo with a great view. Overall a great place to stay. This is our 2nd stay over 4 years. The location on the beach is great. The property has aged a little but the upkeep is not what we expected. I gave the property company a list of things that make it a 4 star vs a 5 star property. i hope the owners are aware of the deficiencies. Here is what I sent to the property management company. 1. The right sink drain really smells. If you sit at the bar to eat you can smell rotten food. 2. The faucet tightning nut loose under the sink. It does not rotate well and will eventually break the water line. 3. The toilet is loose. When you sit on it it rocks back and forth. The caulking on the front is also missing. 4. We had no propane when we arrived and had to eat out that night instead of BBQing. 5. Also had only 3/4 roll of paper towel in kitchen. When called instead of just filling I was asked a number of questions but eventually replaced it. Not sure these were taken care of so its up to the owner and the company to decide. Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and nicely updated. We had a garden view which was gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful. The pools are warm and perfect for night swims. I liked the location. It felt tucked away and quiet. For cheaper than some hotels we had a sweet kitchen to cook in and save money on food. The bed was comfy in our unit. Love having in house washer and dryer. It's a must in Hawaii when your spending lots of time in the water. We stayed at 15C for our spring break. The unit was recently remodeled and lovely. It is a one bedroom and one bath unit with a first floor patio. You can have an ocean view within five steps of your patio if you must look at the ocean all the time. We liked the condo's location within the resort, the convenient parking and first floor location. The grounds are lovely. The remodeled kitchen, shower and bathroom sink are great! My only criticism would be that the price is a bit high for its size. Overall, however, we were very pleased. I would stay in this unit again. JHS read more

Not a relaxing Maui experience at all!! Had to listen to construction noise from 8-5 everyday! The management knew about it and booked the condo anyway. Then made a lame attempt to move us into a condo that was non fit for occupancy. Do not make our mistake especially on an anniversary. read more

We have stayed here for three consecutive years and love these condos. They are very clean and comfortable and offer easy access to the beach and surrounding amenities. The gardens here are enchanting as well. The property management team is responsive, helpful, and very professional. I highly recommend these properties. Third time staying here-this time in unit 3A-two bedroom with large kitchen and family area-was perfect for hosting a big group of our extended family. We have stayed at one of the high end hotels close by. It is definitely a different experience. If you want the swim up bar with a lot screaming kids thing-that would be the way to go. This is definitely more of a quiet condo feel. Nice to be able to make your own meals if you feel like it. We generally at breakfast and lunch in and went out for dinner. There are kids there (we brought ours for the first time when they were pretty young) but the environment is simply not as rowdy. Great semi-private beach and reef with plenty of turtles and fish. If anything, the grounds have improved over the years-well taken care of. Highly recommend this unit and the Ekahi. read more

OWNER: please spend some money to update this dumpy place. The location of this complex is great; most of the apartments have plenty of privacy, particularly on the ground floor. BUT Apartment 9A in Wailea Ekehai Village feels dirty and looks shabby. It's long overdue a paint job and desperate for an updated kitchen. See pics. These kitchen cabinets haven't been made in decades, and it shows. They are stained and delaminating. There's a shabby 3-seater sofa 14-18 inches from the bed in the bedroom which means it's in the way. The bed has no headboard. The TV in the bedroom is a huge, old-style one with a video cassette player attached... The analogue clock needs a battery. The digital clock was wrapped up and in a drawer. We realised that this was because it goes off at midnight when the alarm is NOT set. So, if we wanted a clock (we did), we had to set the alarm even though we didn't need it. And carpeting mostly throughout a place just off the beach? This place would not feel clean if a hurricane blew through it. Very disappointing. We will return Ekahi Village, but we will avoid 9A. read more

My family loves this resort. Beautiful landscaping, close to the beach. I would definitely follow an earlier post's advice about staying in a remodeled unit. The older ones can be pretty run down and gross. We recently stayed in unit 53C. It was gorgeous, and so large. Private patios, great views and really quiet. This resort is the most unprofessional, unfriendly place I have ever experienced! And I have traveled the world. The staff is careless and rude. They even caused a car accident and refused to take responsibility. Their elderly driver caused the accident, admitted fault and now is trying to escape blame. My sisters and I rented the adjoining condos Ekahi 19A and 19B (separate owners/managers) during July 2015 for our families to stay in during the week of my niece's wedding. One of my sisters and I (both of us single moms) stayed with our 4 children, aged between 6 and 12 years old, in Ekahi 19B. We had a very pleasant week in the condo, once we were finally able to get the housekeeper out to the unit to fix a bathtub drain, which we found to be clogged upon arrival. The amenities provided were very nice, including the keyless entry and beach gear provided. The proximity to the beach at Keawakapu and the property swimming pools is great. That being said, we had a few small issues with the place, and some rather more concerning ones after checkout. The turnaround time in communicating with the owner and housekeeper took much longer than expected. The air-conditioning units, while working quite well in each room, were somewhat confusing to operate in conjunction with the ceiling fans, as there were separate remotes for controlling each thing - a total of 6 remotes - for each room in which they were installed. One of the sliding glass doors that led to the outside stuck in its track about 4-6 inches from the door latch and took quite a bit of physical effort to completely shut. Luckily, there were two sets of the sliding doors, so mid-week we finally abandoned using the main set and just used the doors in front of the dining table instead, in order to get to the back of the property. We were forwarded an invoice after checkout for "excessive cleaning" charges. The line items on the invoice included things like wiping down the sliding doors and mirrors due to children's handprints, and mopping the floors and baseboards, among other complaints such as the fact that we had used all the linens provided in the unit. The tone of the emails from the housekeeper, which the owner forwarded to me, seemed angry and over the top.This came as something of a shock, because I have been renting VRBO units for over 18 years and have never have had extra charges assessed after checkout. I should add that the rental contract at the time specified that cleaning charges were waived for stays of 7 days or longer. There was a list of procedures to be followed on departure for the unit, which I always follow scrupulously when I rent a VRBO. These include starting a load of wash in the washing machine, emptying all the garbages, and making sure all the dishes were washed. We tidied up and left the unit in an orderly state.There was no mention on the departure checklist of window/glass cleaning being expected, and the like. We couldn't help but compare the two units we had occupied during our week in Wailea. My third sister and her family paid something in the range of $150 total more than we did for the week she stayed in unit 19A. 19A is significantly larger and more spacious, has central air conditioning, is much lighter and brighter, and the management provides complimentary housekeeping every 3rd day for stays of 7 days or more. The other amenities were comparable for both units. Consequently, our entire family spent just about all of our gathering time at 19A, rather than at 19B. There were no issues or complaints upon checkout from 19A. read more

We booked the kamaole one unit 3 for the first part of our honeymoon. It was about 300 per night and the unit was literally on the beach. Literally you open your sliding door, your own a grassy lawn for about 10 ft, then your on the beach. The unit was one bed 2 bath but super spacious. Full kitchen, lots of beach towels, lots of beach toys, paddle board, board games, bbq, etc. this experience was so much better than our booking at a kanapali Resort. You pay the same amount if not less for beach access and some privacy. The resorts are like being a Disney land - everything is expensive, lines, and lots of kids. My only minus star is it's booked thru Wailea Ekahi Village - which is weird. It's about a 10 min drive from there. We didn't find this out until 2 days before our trip. It's listed on the site - we just didn't notice it. So FYI if you're having family stay in Wailea Ekahi Village and you're in the kamaole units ... you're not walking distance at all. read more

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and were very impressed by the grounds and unit. We stayed in 33B - a 1bd, 2 bath unit. It appeared to have recently been remodeled (granite, stainless steel, tile floors). It offers a partial view of the ocean. Comfortably would sleep 4. Though it is very near the road, we couldn't hear it from inside the unit. Destination Resorts was great about cleaning and providing fresh towels daily. There was a large lanai with grill and patio furniture. The resort overall was very nice. A little dated compared to some of the other resorts in Wailea, but perfect if you are looking for something right on the ocean with the basics.
