I have been coming here for years and whenever I am in Gardena during their open hours, I make it a point to stop by. The sweetest woman makes the most delicious, soft, chewy, sweet mochis and they all look so beautiful. The taste and quality of the wagashi mochis have not changed since my initial visit. Peanut Butter mochi is not always done well, but Chikara Mochi makes it super good - ooey gooey in the center with the softest chewiest mochi on the outside. Whenever you're in Gardena area, this is a must to go place for high quality mochi. Generally, their fillings are either red or white beans and another flavor which I forget, but their mochi are eye catching and pretty, you don't have to fly to Japan to find cute mochi.
