Super friendly staff, great music playing and tons of things to do from outdoor seating to indoor games like basketball! You can order from a menu/QR code from Wahoo's next door and they bring it over!

Came to Wakesurf Saloon and honestly? This place gets it. Such a fun, high-energy spot whether you're coming to watch a game, hang with friends, play games, or fully commit to karaoke main-character energy The vibe is laid-back but lively--perfect for group hangs or spontaneous nights out. There's always something going on, so you're never bored. Now let's talk drinks because WOW. The drinks are delicious, and my absolute favorite was the Cherry Limeade--so refreshing, perfectly balanced, and dangerously easy to sip.

Had a cocktail with a friend. Sat at the bar. It was so hot even with the fans on. I was sticking to the chair. Everything was opened up to the heat outside. So it's just circulating hot air. Unfortunately we didn't stay too long. Really looking for places to escape the heat. Cocktail was good. Sweet, but not too sweet. I had the cherry limeade. And my friend had the espresso martini. The bartender said they changed the recipe a little. It was pretty good, as my friend let me sip a little. Couldn't sit outside to listen to the band. Bummer. Too hot. We did get food at Wahoo's. And I'll write a review for them.

Great service with a lot of tv's. I always have a great experience there. Dog friendly place with plenty of room for your dog to run around.

As a native Californian and new Texan, Wahoo's and Wakesurf Saloon were a pleasant reminder of home. The fish tacos were fried perfectly crispy and not greasy. Sauces are great. Varied menu, good prices, great atmosphere. Very friendly service, outdoor seating, and live music. Wonderful way to spend a Friday night.

The League Tavern is a gastropub…read more "Gastropub". That word is so 2010's. A decade ago calling yourself a "gastropub" was the coolest thing in the hospitality industry. Now, it is a lost artifact of another decade, along with Swedish House Mafia and Britney Spears. The League calls itself a retro reminder of the eating clubs of the 1920's and 1930's. It is pretty damm good as a gastropub. It would not really want to be an eating club of the Prohibition era. Menus in that era could be pretty awful. Mashed parsnips. Liver and onions. Greens that have been cooked to death. Tough steaks. Low quality lager beer. The Indian Puddings were all right. The fish was great if it was fresh. I wish they would bring back Welsh Rarebit. But the League sticks to a contemporary menu ... And I am glad they do. Their contemporary dishes are just great. I had a faro salad with grilled shrimp on top. The faro salad was everything I would want a grain salad to be. (I have had some awful tabboulehs and quinoa salads in my time.) The shrimp were completely lovely. Prices are high - but that is what comes with being a gastropub. The concept is: Pay more. Eat higher quality. The Lakeway market will certainly support the League in the prices it wants to charge. The selection on the menu - and for that matter the selection at the bar - is fairly restricted. Having a small menu is not a necessary correlate of being a gastropub. Some gastropubs offer you an expansive range of choices. But careful management of the menu choices means that each and every dish can be polished to a high degree of execution finesse. Practice makes perfect. My guess is that the League envisions itself as a neighborhood place - albeit a rich neighborhood place. Their customers are likely to be regulars. The regulars order their favorite dishes over and over. I myself like my bars and grills to be Cheaper, Funkier and With bigger selections on the menu and at the bar itself. So the League is not exactly my style. But what they do, they do well. They are expanding, opening more branches in more locations. They can do this because the League fills a real need in the Lakeway-Bee Cave market. If a Lakeway resident were to invite me to be their guest at the League Tavern, I would be happy to accept that invitation. Especially if they were picking up the check.

I placed macaroni and cheese and brussels sprouts in the cart. Placed the order. I got a text message and an email of my recipe. 11 minutes later I got a text saying that it was ready to pick up. I walked in to the restaurant. It wasn't very busy. I waited not even a minute when a nice women came up to me. She asked if I was picking up an order. I said yes. And said my name, I was trying to get to my text message with my receipt, she already had my bag and was walking back to me. Super quick service. By the time I got home, Urg, traffic on 620, seriously!! The food was warm/hot, so I heated it up for a couple minutes in the toaster oven. The macaroni is actually big shells, and I love that cause the cheese gets inside of the shell and it's cheesy gooey. Cheese was fantastic. Really enjoyed the Mac. Brussels sprouts I feel were just steamed. They didn't have that chard crispy outside. Just plan steamed sprouts. My small meal was delicious. Hoping to actually eat inside and have a cocktail.

Three of us had arrived earlier and ordered already and our server came by to greet us two and take our drink order right away if we were ready. We were not so she gave us some time and came back. Throughout the night, she checked on us. At the end of the night, she offered to split all our checks and remembered everyone's orders and how to to accurately split the drinks. Each lady paid for an appetizer. The appetizers were all very good though I would say there are limited gluten free options. The girls shared the Tempura Cauliflower. It looked really good and apparently was also delicious but unfortunately not gluten free. The Charcuterie Board with cheese, salami, pepperoni, and smoked salmon was yummy, as were the brussel sprouts and chicken kabobs. The server said the marinade was not gluten free but I decided to eat it anyways. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. I really liked the brussel sprouts too. The Dirty Martinis and Paper Plane were great. My friend had the Cucumber cocktail but opted for soda water instead of Sprite and she said it was really good. It looked pretty. The restaurant offers a nice vibe for hanging out and has a great selection of cocktails, wines, and food. I didn't get a chance to try an entree but I'm sure they are good. We had the best server so I'd say this place is a winner.

I was humble by the friendliness in this restaurant. I didn't sat and ordered a mango beer my absolute favorite. I ordered the schnitzel which is a German dish absolutely out of this world delicious and they even serve it with some lemon that you can squeeze on top that gives it the flavor and the delicious taste of the crispiness on the top of the breaded chicken. The one thing I wanna stress is as you know the chicken wings is my absolute Favorite because it's not overwhelmed wit With noisy overdone seasonings and tons of barbecue which I do not like. I could tell they were relatively new but that was only because I was sitting right where they were making the drinks. A server came in to give them a compliment about a drink they had made. The customer said they made it perfectly. (I don't know which drink it was) I ordered a glass of Sauvi B and the chicken and waffles. Honestly I was a bit underwhelmed by the presentation. Right off the bat, I noticed that the waffles were very thin. They would not hold up to the sauces and the chicken. I was right. The waffles basically fell apart. They needed to be much thicker waffles to complement the chicken. They chicken was great. The sauces were delicious. I wouldn't order it again. The waffles were disappointing. It was an expensive brunch for what it was. $56 with tip (2 glasses of wine) - the food was around 18.99. The decor is nice and the people were friendly. I'd try again but with a different item.
