Waleed is amazing! I was getting my haircut from another barber shop that do really good fades, but they were charging me $30+ and I dreaded going every few weeks just to get my haircut and breaking bank. I was searching yelp for barbers and could not find good reviews for me to check out. I went to about 4 barber shops and they did not do a good of a job as I had expected. I finally came across Waleed's and thought okay lets give it a try and my hair was super long anyways. I called him up to see if I needed an appointment like some places, but he said to come in early and he'd take me in. So the next morning I went in and there were other 2 people waiting for a haircut. He saw me and asked if I was the guy who called the day before and was really nice and welcoming. When It was my turn to get my haircut he asked what i'd like to do and I showed him a picture of a fade I wanted. He said no problem and let me tell you this, this is one of the best haircuts I have ever had! This was better than the barber shop I was going to before and on top of it, he only charged me $18 for my haircut. Waleed actually takes the time to talk to you and get to know you and never rushes. Even when I was done with my haircut he wanted to do a little more touch ups to make it perfect. If you're looking for sick fades and high quality like they do in the city of Chicago, trust me go to Waleed's. I'm glad I came here after so many other barber shops in the suburbs. I was looking for a barber in my area and decided to search Yelp. Nothing came up in my town of Romeoville, so expanded to Naperville. There's a reason Waleed came up first. I called him up and asked if he took walk-ins and if he was busy, he told me to come on in. Upon arrival he was working on someone, but was finished quickly and brought me in. He asked what I wanted and how I normally style. I told him I wanted a tight fade with a beard trim/shape. Dude hooked it up! Super chill, soft spoken, but a total professional. Hot lather & straight razor on the neck was a nice touch. Price for the total cut and beard trim was less than expected and was quick to say come back anytime. When I came to the barber shop I had to leave twice because of the wait time but I just recently went on a weekday because he is super busy on weekends and the haircut was easily the best I have ever gotten! Waleed is a good conversationalist a kind and very positive man! He has a really nice place where you could sit down if your waiting. Full service cut, beard trim and lines, and shave. I could not be more pleased with Waleed's industry and art.
