I'm glad I have such an awesome Walgreens so close to home. It's always well organized, they carry every item I need and more. They always have great deals. I'm such a sucker for the buy 2 for $3, 3 for $4, etc., sales they always seem to have. On November 1st I always purchase a boat load of Halloween candy for 50% off. This holds for many of their holiday items. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I also get my prescriptions filled here, which they generally have ready within an hour, if not sooner. If you live in the area I highly recommend that you make this your regular drug store and/or pharmacy. read more

I pick up prescription from 3 different pharmacies for myself and others in my family. I normally visit rite-aid or CVS but my Doctor mistakenly send my new prescription to Walgreens in Glendora i was so impressed with Yanira at the pharmacy that I will only use Walgreens going forward she went completely out of her way to make sure I got exactly what I needed and the right amount and problem I had with other pharmacies. I've come here a couple times for prescriptions. The service is fine, and efficient enough but can be somewhat curt depending on who it is and the circumstances. The technician who had been helping me was fairly friendly until there was a misunderstanding. Basically, I thought we had discussed and agreed that it made more sense to wait for a larger size to come in, since both prescriptions would end up costing the same. She ended up charging me for both prescriptions, and when I brought up that I only was going to pick up one that day, she became a little standoffish, called a manager so that the return could be processed, then basically left me to do something else. Overall I'd go back if it was the closest one but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way. read more

41 minutes to pick up a prescription in drive thru. Apparently they are doing covid testing in the drive thru now. That is ridiculous to make people picking up prescriptions wait. If they want to do testing, they should open the other lane. It also doesn't seem safe in that enclosed area. I also called earlier and was on hold over 20 minutes and no one ever answered even though it said I was the next caller. It rang and then went back to the hold music 8 times before I hung up. I had a prescription filled at this Walgreens and was actually pretty happy about the drive-through pick up option. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I have no real complaints or any real praise... I am happy with the service and will continue to come back. I stopped using Walgreens pharmacy around 65 years ago after years of bad service, wrong prescriptions and ridicules lo g waits even when prescriptions have been called in days before. Unfortunately I needed to get a prescription filled for my son and decided to give them another try. Nothing has changed. Prescription wasn't ready even though we had it called in a week ago. I just told them after a 15 minute wait that we will cancel and pick it up somewhere else and they just smiled and said "thank you." Terrible service. read more

(My account got hacked earlier thus week so I'm waiting for the new debit card). The machine wouldn't take the check. Manager called. He refused to take the info manually. Love how convenient the drive thru is. My only and biggest complaint is the employee at the pharmacy. The heavier set Caucasian/Hispanic looking woman that works at the pharmacy is very rude and unprofessional. This is the second time I had to deal with her and the first time she gave us an attitude. Instead of snapping at the customer maybe she needs to be more polite and understanding. She brags how she's been billing for 13 some years, but I called my insurance and they got all the codes wrong. That's why I have been charged too much. Please Walgreens, train your employees some manners and customer service. I get it sometimes they are busy but there is no need for that. The Asian male pharmacist is no help either. Can someone from corporate please come and help this location? Maybe some de-escalation techniques, product and service knowledge and understanding of authority levels. This would help tremendously especially at the pharmacy dealing with older and sick customers. We don't have time to be abused by employees. read more

PHOTO I'm commenting on my Photo experience. I went in to have my 8mm movies transferred to DVD. I took 7 reels in and the guy behind counter couldn't find paper work so he called an other guy than they couldn't figure out what kind of reels I had I'm glad I knew. They did it on screen I had them numbered and in order and they re numbered them the price on the screen said $115.00 my mouth dropped. I said WHAT? You see I've been to Costco to do this and to get 7 reels it was like $70.00. They said oh no we see this all the time, it's never this high, like a lady came it & it said $300.00 & when she picked it up it was only $175.00 so yours should be half of $115.00. They both said it will take no longer than 10 to 14 days. Well it took 21 days and it was $135.00. I takes longer and is more expensive than Costco. So basically its $15.00 a reel and they charge you for the DVD. At Costco it's included in the price plus Costco gives you 2 DVDs Walgreens charges an extra $10.00 for just 1 DVD. The only thing I like about Walgreens is that they kept all 7 reels separate, at Costcos they connect them and put them all in one big reel. read more

Even though this is one of the closest locations I will not be going back. 25 minutes to closing and they said they can not fill the prescription until the morning. It was for Rx that I really needed. And that was after waiting 10 min. behind a car. I drove to Rite Aide and they filled the prescription even though it was now 8 minutes to closing. So angry with this pharmacy, I wish I could give ZERO stars!!! My mother in law was getting a prescription filled when the pharmacist said he would not refill her anxiety medication. My wife tried to explain that it is not his position to deny medication. He then said he spoke with the Dr. and it would not be refilled. So...my wife called the Dr., who has been our physician for 30+ years, and he never spoke with the pharmacist! My wife called him on his BS, and the the Dr. called him. The physician would not budge so my Dr. said to take ALL of our prescriptions elsewhere. I used the drive up & was told about an offer to join their club membership: buy now for $20 (one year) & still save $30 on my prescription! Cool I'm in! Hands down the WORST pharmacy in the area! The customer service is as slow as molasses and even though there are long lines at the walk up window and drive thru, the clerk has no sense of urgency. Zero! I can't count the number of times I've ordered my prescriptions through the automated phone service only to find that they've filled just half the order. When I ask what happened to the rest of it, they claim there is no record of me ordering it. So then I have to wait 20+ minutes. The whole point of calling it in is to avoid waiting. WTH?? read more

We have been going to this walgreens for years, and it has gone down hill. Pharmacist is not very helpful, and they never keep your prescriptions on auto refill. I have put in a complaint to my medicare drug company. There are people parked in the back, againt the wall goimg through boxes that I can only assume are stolen off of porches, leaving the trash and things if they don't want them. Bill is a great Pharmacist always answers my questions. It's the new people who work the drive through window and answer the phone who have a bad attitude and customer service skills. 06/07/2022 I called to confirm my son's prescription as I do every month for the last 19 years and this medication the last 19 Years. Never have I been asked to name the medications and then told my son needed to be with me and have a valid ID I told her my son is a minor she stated that, that did not matter he needed his ID. I became very frustrated and repeated myself, "My son is a Minor and I'm his parent!" Then she says oh he doesn't need one I need mines all over the phone. Went to drive through @5:45pm the female employee had a very bad attitude, which was the same employee I spoke with over the phone demanding my minor' child's ID, I recognized her voice. Train these newer employees that minors don't require ID's the parents do. read more

I'll start by reviews for the walgreens I visited. I came to a CVS nearby where I work. It turned out the doctor prescribed a medical that would cost me $700. The CVS staff told me they'd fax the alternative (a tablet type, instead of ointment) to the doctor. Then I followed up with the doctor, but the doctor's front desk told me they didn't get anything. I then called CVS, which told me they did. And so on, until it's 5PM (when the doctor's closes). Well, with nothing in hand to treat my cold sour, I got the prescription back from CVS, and then drove a bit to Walgreens at this location. The staff (So bad I couldn't recall his name) checked the order, and basically confirmed the 700$ cost. I cannot accept this, was a bit upset. Then he searched some magic code, and then got me a discount for $100 for the same amount. Well, still expensive. Then he said my cold sour was almost towards the end, and non-OTC medicine only saves a couple of days compared with some OTC ointment. He then walked out to the aisle, and showed the OTC ointment, $20. He then explained why the cold sour came back, and suggested I might take L-Lysine to prevent or reduce the spread. I appreciate such knowledge and his time with me. I now know next time when it shows early symposum, I'll take some Lysine, and use some OTC ointment. Cold sour was no big deal. Well, I came back home to tell the story to my husband, and he laughed: "let me tell you a story", he paused, "an not that famous actress was on a show, when she got a bit cut on her figure. She screamed and urged staff to send her to hospital. the doctor said, it's so good you come here early enough. Otherwise, you cut is healed!" read more

Then they seemed surprised I was mad for making a special trip here for nothing. Just another retailer where the consumer basically fends for himself. And the parking lot is a debris-laden mess. The pharmacy techs at glendora Walgreens are stupid as all hell. I asked her to verify my insurance because i didn't think they accepted it. She says it's fine. Sure enough, the pharmacist calls me and says they don't. I call back, are first tells me she got in and has no clue what happened. She was there as i put in the original prescription. Then, she won't even contact another pharmacy and place the prescription, says it's the patient's responsibility and hangs up before she gives me her number there so i can give it to wal mart pharmacy. Lady was not happy to see my face, swollen as hell, having to go back in there and fix this my self. No wonder people in those positions don't make past $15 an hour. Like help your fucking patient. Even the pharmacist called it in for me. Ugh. Face pain and people not knowing their jobs suck ass. Pharmacist is very nice though. read more

Walgreens pharmacy is horrible. I dropped off my prescription for my child... they said 40min. No problem. I came back an hour later, medicine is still not done, they were out of stock for one of them but didn't tell me until that hour, and then just started filling my hour.
