Worest pharmacy in Orange County. Always delayed. Always a long wait. Bad management. CVS down the street is a much better option.

I'm sad to report that after years of coming here I have absolutely been frustrated enough to write a review to convey just how poor this store is. The manager Paul is rude, not helpful, and quick to say no. I have used this as my home pharmacy for years due to sheer proximity to my home. I now want to go out of my way because of how frustrated I am with the customer service at this Walgreens. Instead of doing the right thing and solving my issue in store the manager was happy to tell me there was NOTHING he could do to fix the issue I had experienced at an out of state Walgreens. I then had to waste my time calling corporate, pleading my case, just for them to make me come into the store to get my refund. The worst part was after all this, I was forced to go into the store and be disrespected by Paul a second time, just to collect the money that was rightfully owed to me. I am so irritated and frustrated with the lack of customer service i have received here time and time again. I am normally easy to work with. I would have been happy with a sincere apology. I could not even get that. Very frustrating. This store could use some customer service 101 teaching. read more

this place was on the way to work so i stopped in. i had a few meds that were expired and this was the closest place that has a drop off for expired meds. that's nice to have. i also needed some tissue and cough drops so i found what i needed and left. staff friendly enough. read more

Love this location, and especially Minh and Liz. Liz is the pharmacist and Minh is one of her assistants. They love to share a laugh, and I have a very unusual last name so they often bring that up with a cute comment or two. They are mighty easy on the eyes as well, always a plus for businesses that you must frequent often. Regarding a previous one star review given because he waited on hold for 40 minutes...??? Who does that? They have an automated system and if that is not an option for whatever reason, just stop in as I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. I assume that person lives close by since there are pharmacy's every couple of miles in this area. They also have a drive-thru and are open 24 hours. Not only Danimal approved but highly recommended if you live or work nearby. read more

Today I downgrade my review with full confidence to a single star. Why? there is no negative star system! WOW. I had moved my Rx to MemoriaCare Pharmacy with absolutely amazing service. But this is closer to my home, and contrary to my inner voice, I decide to try them again. Bad plan.DO NOT PUT YOUR FAITH IN THIS HALF WILLING -DOES NOT CARE-LAUGHS AT YOU FOR WAITING- Pharmacy! After 40 minutes on hold, I called them from another line and asked to speak to a manager. Now both phones played the annoying hold time. Finally got through. I asked why in the world I should wait 40 minutes to process ONE prescription. The managers answer? This is a very busy day. Needless to say, I gave some managerial advice, as that is my occupation, in a hospital system. This location has no concern for you as a patient. When I told the Pharmacy tech how long I had been waiting on hold...she laughed. LAUGHED. I told her this will be my last refill ever, and her response? Yes. She laughed. I am returning to MemorialCare. What a total mistake I made for give Walgreens a second try! DO NOT GIVE THEM A FIRST CHANCE!!! MOVE ON. read more

Appalled by the drive through pharmacist. So rude! Trying to find my prescription at the second Walgreens. He just tells me I'm wrong over and over and I need to come inside to get my prescription. I come inside and here he is telling the other employees how much of a "bi*** in the drive through is". Again shuts me down when I tried to explain that I'm frustrated and just need clear answers. Ask for one of the ladies in the pharmacy (I'm not sexist) they're just more understanding and helpful than the gentleman who was working. read more

I just waited 15 minutes after they picked up at the pharmacy. All I want to do is refill 2 of my prescriptions and I get placed on hold. My insurance made me switch from CVS the beginning of the year and the drugs seem cheaper but you pay for it in wait time read more

Not sure why there are so many poor reviews. I have been here about 5 times and the staff is always very helpful. I think these types of stores have a weird layout, so I usually ask someone where something is so I don't wander around like an idiot and then ask someone for help. I really only come here for odds and ends items, but most times they have exactly what I need. This location also has a pharmacy that always looks busy. Parking is bountiful and great place to stop before a road trip or on your lunch break for that perfect pick me up. read more

Tried to go in at 4:50am on a Monday and they're closed!! Why, it says 24hr open!! Very disappointed!

One of the few contacted pharmacies I can go to and I hate every minute of it. There service is ridiculously slow! It's a fifty/fifty ratio on them even receiving the prescription properly. Staff are very quick to assume the doctor's office had yet to send. I have sick children at home who are in pain and need their medications as soon as possible but are being denied immediate treatment because of how slow their staff work! read more

I was racially profiled by a female cashier. I went in for one thing and I got it as soon as I entered. I noticed the cashier was keeping an eye on me and didn't think much of it at the time. After I started walking around I noticed she still kept an eye on me. Later a male employee started watching and followed me. I knew they were just watching me and only me. As soon as I looked at the male employee he walked away from me. As I approached the check out line which are near the the door the female cashier ran to the doors like if I was going to walk out with the items I picked up. I stood still in line and she had knew she looked foolish running to the door the way she did. I checked out and the male employee looked embarrassed. There's always friendly cashiers there that ask about your day and make nice small talk. I've never seen this new cashier before. read more

I had to write something about Angie at the Pharmacy because she's seriously the best. Every time I've called or came in for my script, she always remembers me and helps me in every way she can. Most places are very unhelpful when comes to getting assistance with my medication, but she always makes the experience a lot less miserable and I greatly appreciate her for that. She's the sweetest lil lady and makes this specific location my favorite and most preferred pharmacy to get my meds at :) read more

The woman working on Thursday though was a little bit out there... She switched registers, and was helping someone, and I got in line, and she asked me to go to the other register to see if the woman left the bag of markers there, and her coupons. Like that this is open 24 hours. Conveniently located and well lit at night. Well stocked and had what I was looking for. The staff was friendly and service was provided quickly and with a smile. They generally have items advertised on sale and you can get a rain check if they run out. read more

Great service.. especially if you're there late at night between 11pm and 3am whether it's for munchies or medicine. There's a huge selection of things to browse - even 'as seen on tv' items. The pharmacy staff is friendly, quick, informative, and efficient. Walgreens' app is great for refilling prescriptions and their text alerts when the Rx is ready is fantastic since they're open 24hrs. read more

This pharmacy used to be the best! Aimee the pharmacist that worked nights was fabulous! She went above and beyond! This new staff they have is terrible! Incompetent! Two separate times I've given them my card and they've ran my debit card. They hand my credit card back like nothings wrong only to find out later they ran the wrong card. Called the store, spoke to ty in the pharmacy and he says "what do you want me to do about it" transferring my prescriptions somewhere else! read more

This review is for the pharmacy only. They get 3 stars because the pharmacists are always helpful and knowledgeable however, I would give 0 stars for the techs. There is one pharmacy tech in particular who is routinely extremely rude. I was at this location to buy OTC medicine for a really bad cold and had used up all the Kleenex in my purse while selecting medicine. I was in desperate need of one more Kleenex and ran to the pharmacy thinking they could spare one for me, especially seeing how sick I was. Instead, I was instructed to go to aisle 17 and purchase a box. Thanks for the direction, but that doesn't help the mucus I have running down my face now as a result of your uncompassion. read more

Open 24 hours is definitely a bonus for me. I come to this location quite often due to the fact that my pharmacy is here. Every time I have been here I have always been pleased with the customer service I have received from the pharmacists. I really enjoy the fact that you can ask them questions and they will suggest different products that will help with whatever it may be. Another thing is that this location is clean. This plays a big part for me knowing that if I have to come here in the middle of the night that I am not walking into some sketchy store. Lastly, I really enjoy the fact that the drive thru is never really crowded! All in all if your in the area stop by this location and check it out for yourself. I was notified that my prescription was not going to be covered but i called and the gentleman i spoke to checked for me and was very helpful and figured out what went wrong. I've had nothing but bad experiences with the pharmacy department at this Walgreen location. I suffer with osteoarthritis and it affects every major joint in my body causing extreme pain and because of this am on a strong opioid pain reliever. My monthly pill allotment is 140 pills and several times in the past, because my doctor, on the prescription, had the dosage at four pills daily, the pharmacist put just 120 pills rather than the prescribed 140 in my bottle. Not knowing this I would blithely pick it up and not realize this miscount until reaching home.....whereupon calling the pharmacist and screaming "Where are my other twenty pills?" They would explain that four pills a day equals 120. I would reply: "But the script says 140 pills!!" I would bring the bottle back, go back to my doctor and explain that he has to notate 4-5 pills daily dosage because my anal-retentive power hungry, pill counting imbecilic pharmacist needs to see it in writing before giving me my drugs. Only people in extreme pain will understand this. Well.....the proverbial "straw" happened yesterday when my doctor phoned in my script, the pharmacy notified me that it's ready and when I went to pick it up the store was closed......not on a lunch hour....the entire store was closed. I immediately called another Walgreens and because I'm in the computer, asked if they could fill the script. They said: "No," I have to go back to my doctor's office and have them call it into their location. I called my doctor, got put on hold, and decided to visit in person in order to resolve this dilemma. They called it into the new location who couldn't fill it because it was "Filled at the store that was CLOSED!" I did call the closed store and a rep couldn't give me a time when they would open. Again, only people with severe pain knows what this is like....mentally. The new location (who couldn't fill the script b/c it was "ALREADY FILLED") advised me to be patient because the original store was going to be open....soon. They did finally open and I got my drugs...but am not using them anymore. read more

If I could put zero I would. No greeting from the cashier Cooper or the blonde female assistant manager which blew my mind at the crappy service he gave and wasn't even corrected on it by his boss. We came in asked of they had an item and he didn't even look at us, said nah right away and didn't offer any type of help. We purchased an item that said sale and he says it isn't on sale, we didn't make an issue of that but then my boyfriend types in his number as one of those Walgreens members and since to didn't work he asked the cashier for a card and he says nah don't have one. Terrible! I just drove out to this Walgreens to get passport photos taken. I was not able to because the person that takes the photos was on a 30 minute break right there in the store. I wasn't able to wait 30 minutes since I also had the kids with me. Customer service is dead. I own a store myself and had someone come into my store and needed me, I would've come out of my "break" to care for them and then finished it off when they left. We asked the manager if someone else can do it and she was annoyed that we weren't willing to wait 30 minutes at the store for the photo person to finish. Customer service is a dead. Do not go to the pharmacy there. The women that work there are all rude and give you dirty looks. If you want to wait in line forever go here. I've waited while one lady runs the whole place. I'm going back to the one in Tustin. They are always friendly and have multiple staff there. They get you your medications fast. I'm never going to this one again! read more

This pharmacy staff have two speeds, STOP and REVERSE. It takes them 24 to 48 hours to fill a prescription. I need to find a new pharmacy. Too bad, Walgreens usually provides the best service. read more

The ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The older Vietnamese female pharmacist was TERRIBLE! Came to have a prescription filled (I work in healthcare and I know how things can be done if a pharmacist cared to do so), she did not want to check first to see if the prescription was covered by insurance which can be easy done on their system. She said it had to be filled, wasted an hour of time and when she finally processed the insurance she said it's expired. That's it. No let me see what I can do to help. And get this!! I VERIFIED THE INSURANCE PRIOR TO COMING!!!! It's typical bad pharmacist behavior and at the end of the day it comes down to money and what insurance you have. Went to Costco in Fountain Valley and they happily filled it and said there was no issue with insurance with a substantially low co-payment. Thank you to COSTCO PHARMACY FOR PROVIDING EXCELLENT AND EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Walgreens could learn a thing or to about professional behavior and treating all customers with respect and dignity. read more

I LOVE this store! That staff is really helpful, and nice. Ryan, Remi, and Collin are the 3 I run into the most when I go there, usually between 12 and 2 in the morning, and they are always in a good mood, and make great conversation when I'm particularly talkative. The store is kept very well organized and clean, and the staff always knows where everything is, which is helpful. There is a 24 hour Walgreens right by my house, and I make the trip to this one rather than stop by the one more directly on my way home from work simply because the customer service is great. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE PHARMACY COUNTER... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. i have been a loyal customer here for years, but with every visit, it gets worse and worse. Long lines inside and the drive thru pharmacy is even worse... always extremely busy, 2-3 cars in line. They have 2 lanes, but the outside lane has been closed for months.
