Currently sitting at the pharmacy drive thru, been here for 30 minutes still have not been helped but I have watched people inside being helped who came after I did. This is common here and calling in to get refills is worse, expect to be on hold for over 60 minutes before being helped. Another issue is being told you can pick up your prescription and then driving there to be told it won't be available to you for another few days...this also has happened many times. read more

I am posting this about the Walgreen's Pharmacy. For a corporate-owned pharmacy, the customer service in this store functions like a small, family owned drugstore in our little town. Pharmacists and pharmacy techs know customers by name. Pharmacists (four of them) each live in Marina and never fail to assist customers, even if it is a question about OTC medications. I have had pharmacists voluntarily come out to the floor to help me find an item and/or recommend a particular product. This is a marked contrast to the other pharmacy/drugstore in our town. They used to be timely and quick and friendly. But over the past few months, all of these have deteriorated severely.

I am happy with Walgreens, they went xtra mile.Iam a vet, n realized I was out of a med I need to take everyday.The VA clinic gave me a 20 pill prescripton,to hold me over,great.I go to CVS, n the told me they would n t open a box for only 20 pills.I leave go to Wal greens , on Fremont,n they don t have any.I guess iam gonna go without n take my chances.Then I don t know how this happened I got a automated message from Marina Walgreens saying my pills, are ready for pick, up.I don t know how it happened , I go n walk out with my 20 pills..Thank you Walgreens, for helping a vet out.You go the xtra mile....n thank u to your friendly staff read more

The store itself is fine. The PHARMACY is RIDICULOUSLY ANNOYING! Wait times are NEVER less than 20 minutes for me- no matter what time I show up or where I am in line. Tonight took the cake. I was behind the car at the window for 15 minutes before that person was served. I pulled up to the window, nobody there, pressed the assistance button, waited unattended for an additional 40 minutes before someone came to the window. It took about 30 seconds to receive and pay for my prescription, find out I can get all my family prescriptions transferred to a different pharmacy by having the new pharmacy call Walgreens, and leave. Suggestions to Walgreens: If it's busy inside and you can't tend to the window in a professional & timely manner, close the drive-thru window so people aren't wasting gas in their cars for 55 minutes thinking, "Should I just shut off the engine? Maybe not, any second now someone should assist me." And on behalf of the poor folks standing in long lines inside: Add chairs to your reception area and have people take a number so they can sit or shop around while you guys lag on service. There are some sick and frail customers in there that will appreciate it. For customers using the drive-thru: Go ahead and turn the car off and catch up on your reading or phone a friend. For customers standing in line: May you have the patience and longevity it takes to deal with the wait. read more

Store itself is as any other Walgreens I'd been to and has many products and services to offer as any other Walgreens I've been to however the staff is not knowledgeable and not trained to perform the services Walgreens is providing. In particular I came to this store and bought a few things also wanted to load my PayPal with some cash however I left my wallet at home so I generated barcode in my PayPal app on the iPhone to substitute the card. But for whatever reason neither the cashier nor the supervisor of hers knew how to scan a barcode I had on my iPhone's screen... superviso Melanie refused to service me and I believe made up a store policy that prevents their store to load prepaid green dot card with money. Very unprofessional, turning away to walk away when I asked to be shown of claimed store policy. No skill to provide professional customer services. I'll be calling store to speak to manager or I'll hit their corporate office to make sure I want lied to about a policy. By the way store manager was not in the store when I asked to speak with. They are as good as a self checkout only you won't be lied to by the self check out register. read more

We have been with Walgreen's for almost 3 years and until about 1 year ago they had competent help and good service. They are beyond incompetent with follow thru on prescriptions. My husband has severe COPD so he needs his meds. I am on auto refill, but still we have had 5 delays on one med in the last 6 months. Each time the staff has not followed thru with the insurance company and 1 time they had the wrong fax number for the doctor. Each time, I have had to call several times to get the meds. I am picking up my last med from them today, we are going to try CVS. Nothing can be worse that Walgreen's pharmacy staff and the manager of Walgreens. There is no leadership in that store. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. Walgreens is by far the worst corporation. Over the last year they repedetley stop caring my medication regardless of automatic refills and me coming every month for my medications they always have to order it if I need it and the price changes every month. I've had to call my doctor 4 times to change the brand of my medication so that I could pick it up from them. I have successfully switched to CVS who managed to receive my prescriptions get them filled free of charge all in 15 min. Plus they're across the street from Walgreens, a million times nicer and they actually know what they're talking about. Do not ever use Walgreens in Marina unless you want to pay double the price of medications, be treated disrespectfully and want to waste your entire day standing in their lobby for your meds. read more

I started going 2 there pharmacy since there a union pharmacy . I was blown away and so impressed with there customer service . Every single time I pick up a prescription they are so Kind and very very helpful !!!! read more
