This place is litterally A JOKE. A Lady named ADRIANA! You need to take an anger management class and change your attitude towards your customers. I've arrived here at 8:30p.m to pick up my prescription but they said it' will take 15 minutes to fill up. I said, "Okay I will wait 20 minutes in my car and come back. I came back at 8:50 p.m to pick up my prescription but I was missing one of my medicine. I told her I am supposed pick up 2 medicines not one and then she goes off "We're closed you have to pick it up tomorrow bye? are you serious? are you A Pharmacist? You have no intention to help your customers but want get paid ? She literally shut the down take the Pill you have today. Period Bye? I would never thought I would experience this rudness and disrespect before. Now, I can't take my medicine which I'm in absolute pain. thank you for ruining my health and my day! Meh...I know this location is fairly new, but the outside of the building and main entrance seem to be falling apart. There are a ton of cracks in the walls. This isn't going to stop me from buying my hairspray but just a mental note. Once inside the floors are dirty, there are several black spots all over and you can tell the tile hasn't been buffed in a while. I got my hairspray, took a gander at the "last chance" end cap (my favorite part about Walgreens) grabbed an LED lighted keychain for .30 cents, awesome! While checking out the cashier is OVERLY friendly and annoying bubbly with the older man in front of me...this is causing my check out to take longer than normal. I check out, less conversation on her part....overall consensus, I may need more coffee, but I'm not all warm and fuzzy. read more

The pharmacy is terrible, sent me a message that my Prescription is ready and when I arrive they tell me they don't have the medication, then informs me we might get it in tomorrow and then make it my fought that they don't have the medication I explain to the pharmacist that this is blood pressure medication and I can not go a day without taking it, her solution was for me to drive around to different Walgreens to see if any Walgreens had the medication I needed, I ended up going to the ER to get the medication that I needed, I will be changing my pharmacist read more

Was left on hold for 30 minutes, as soon as they answered they hung up. Tried again and gave up after waiting 20 minutes. Good luck going in as well. Prescriptions are never ready when they say they are. One time I went for pickup when it said it was ready and they kept telling me come back in 30 mins everytime I came back. I was there for over 2 hours!!! Literally the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Luckily my medications aren't life or death if I don't have them on time but I feel awful for the people who have more immediate needs. I would give this pharmacy 0 stars if possible. I rushed here from the urgent care clinic to get some antibiotics for my girlfriend. The pharmacy closes at 6 PM. I got there at 5:45. I understand this is cutting it close. However, there was no line, nobody else waiting. The pharmacist doesn't even look at the prescription, and says "I need 30 minutes to fill a prescription. You can come back tomorrow." I told her this is for antibiotics that my girlfriend needs tonight. She recommends I drive to Greenback and I-80 to the pharmacy there which is 24 hrs. To put in perspective how lazy and uncaring this pharmacist was, I rushed from here to Rite Aid across the freeway, got there at 5:55. They also close at 6. Their drop of window was already closed. I told the pharmacist there I knew it was late but I really needed the antibiotics for my girlfriend tonight. She filled the prescription and checked me out in 2 minutes. That's right. 2 minutes. I don't know if the pharmacist at Walgreens is lazy or incompetent, but either way I would never go here again, and I encourage everyone to find somewhere else to go. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy that I have ever been to. Wait times for prescription pick-ups are excessive, customer service is terrible and meds are frequently out of stock. I've tried hard to give them the benefit of the doubt, as I know workers seem hard to come by, but after my last experience with multiple rude employees (especially Breanne, a blonde woman working the pharmacy register), her blaming ME for a med being out of stock, and hours long wait times, I'm done. I have used this Walgreens for about 2 years and the service has deteriorated fast. I understand how everyone has been affected by the pandemic, but the arrogance in how their employees treat customers is beyond reproach. I have asthma mad had a severe respiratory episode, the dr prescribed antibiotics and oral steroids on an urgent basis on Friday afternoon. I went on Friday and then again on Saturday at noon and asked if the Rx were ready. At first they got the wrong prescription, then kept me waiting for about 20 minutes without saying a word. At that point the person behind the counter said, "I have 38 prescriptions so it will be a while, ha!" with a very smug smile. I was perplexed - 38 prescriptions for me?!? The answer was, "No, in general. I'll get to yours when I get to it!" Well, the prospect of dying because of an unhappy and unwilling-to-assist Walgreens associate is not to my liking. The attitude was so horrible, there was no respect and no compassion or concern. I am switching pharmacies because to me this is not acceptable how an Rx customer should be treated. read more

If you depend on your medication to live/function, absolutely avoid this place at all costs. I put in a formal RX transfer request (from an old pharmacy to this one), was told it would be ready by 1pm the following day, called both the new and old pharmacy and personally spoke to both pharmacists, needless to say it was not ready. Now it is day 3. Today this store acts like I never put in the request, they clearly never initiated the process. Two different employees both told me that their in store patients are more important than me and they are about to close and the pharmacist who I spoke to earlier is busy giving vaccines and can't talk to me. I explained that I have been calling for days and will come to the store in person if required, I know they are about to close that is why I am calling. I need an antiseizure medication which I am now entirely out of. Rather than expressing any type of concern or effort, I was repeatedly told how busy they are (they have 100s of prescriptions to fill, just in case you didn't know, as I was told by 3 different staff) and that I am not a priority. I will now be going to the ER as I don't have time to request a transfer through someone else who actually cares. I was also told the entire store has no management at all that I can talk to. I find it odd (aka most likely a blatant lie) that they run a store with literally no manager at all. They clearly do not give care about people or their own jobs. Run far, far away before you become a casualty of their apathy and neglect, these people are seriously going to get someone killed. read more

I've used this pharmacy for the good part of a decade and they have been fabulous. Over the past year there has been a significant decline and horrible service at the pharmacy as well as extended wait times (occasionally and hour plus in the drive through). Most recently I have been calling nearly daily to get a prescription I need and it has take well over 10 days for them to get it together. My MD even personally called twice with guarantee it would be handled and it's still not resolved. I will no longer be using their services. read more

I called to see if it was too late to pickup some medications that had been ready for awhile now. I was immediately put on hold which is fine I understand anybody can be super busy. While I'm waiting I start reading reviews because when I looked them up for the phone number on Google maps I noticed ALL bad reviews in the little snapshot of reviews you can see from the map section. Ok now I'm worried that somebodies going to be rude to me for NO reason. I was on hold long enough that the phone started ringing again and I knew what was going to happen. Lol. Somebody picked up, didn't say anything and put me back on hold. I was on hold so long again and it rang and rang and rang and finally this lady picks up. Keep in mind I'm on my very BEST and nicest behavior because I dread being mad at people. Even if they're rude to me. And of course...she was super short with me. Cut me off. She corrected me with a super obvious tone to go with it. Then she was a smart a$$ it. I'm laughing about it now but at the time, after I had enough of her attitude I called her out about her behavior and that the reviews gave me a heads up about the possibility of this kind of treatment. Her immediate response to me saying there was no reason at all to be rude to me and that I hadn't done or said anything to deserve it...she said, "No what it is, is just that I'm really busy and..." You know these people, when they don't wanna hear you anymore they try and pretend it never happened and start to speak over you about the original reason you called to get you to shutup and stop talking about their sh&$@y attitude. Anyway, that's my 2 cents on THAT particular lady. Lucky for her I didn't catch her name. But that was today, THURSDAY the 6th @740PM. :) And since I know you're reading this lady, you need to own up to your actions. Stop taking out whatever is bothering you on unsuspecting customers. I called ahead of time to ask if they'd be able to take my voucher on my phone as I don't have access to a printer and they told me yes. I get there and they tell me a paper copy is needed. This review is for the pharmacy only. I was visiting my son from out of town, and needed to refill a prescription. My pharmacy told me to tell any out of town pharmacy to call them for my insurance information, etc. I went to Walgreens armed with my insurance card and the box that the medication was in. It had the name and number of my pharmacy, the drug, and Rx number. The clerk was extremely rude right off the bat. She said she couldn't call my pharmacy. She just said "We don't do that". It was a bad experience, and I have already told my family not to ever go there. They both work for the state and have good insurance. Maybe my Medicare wasn't good enough for them. Consistently long wait times after making vaccine and flu shot appointments. My family has gone to Walgreens 4 times in the last month for shots and the reservation we made online for each was never close to the actual time we got our shots. The most recent example was today, after making an appt online and filling out a form for flu shot. I arrived in time, got checked in, and was told someone would ha e me fill out paperwork. After 20 minutes of no one giving me anything, I asked what was going on. Finally, after another 5-10 minutes someone finally saw me. However, they were only giving me paperwork to fill out before I could get the shot. I told them I had filled out a form online but they said they don't see that: Huh? This has to be the most inefficient reservation service in the world. Be prepared for a 30 minute wait beyond your scheduled time if you go. read more

Honestly shocked there are bad reviews. Let me state that my personal review will cover JUST the Pharmacy, where a majority of our purchases are. Two household members take life sustaining medication daily, THIS is our pharmacy. For YEARS, this is OUR pharmacy. Brian was our Pharmacist for many years (not sure if he's still here though, haven't seen him in a while), Toni, Gina, and Eric--STELLAR. They KNOW us. I pick up often for my Hubby and they always ask how the family is doing. We've had many surgeries and procedures over the past couple of years, they are RIGHT on it. On one occasion, a generic option was added to a script (that family member is deathly allergic to), of COURSE they caught it! Excellent customer service. THIS is where you trust the care of those you love. I will also "rave" about the photo counter. We've designed and ordered our FAMILY Holiday cards here since 2011. EXCELLENT product. Just in town to help family after Surgery. I was asked to use the Drive through and pickup some prescriptions for my son in law. What I found was a very unfriendly young women with dark hair who was truly mean and angry towards me. If you must use this location I would strongly suggest after noon is happened about 9:40 am. Sorry I ever went because if she treats Senior Citizens this poorly well we deserve better. read more

I like coming to this location they have great deals with a wide selection of different items to choose from I like coming here to develop my pictures they have a really nice system they have a lot of on seen tv items this location has a very large cosmetic make up section with several name brands to choose from they also have a lot of name brand perfumes this location also have clothes to choose from they also sell pet items and kids toys here they also sell food and other house hold items that you might need they have a very wide selection of over the counter medications to try and they always have great sales every week this is very clean atmosphere very clean establishment very full clean nicely organized shelves very clean restrooms and very clean parking lots I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great deal and great items to choose from I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more great customer service and more great items to choose from thank you Walgreens for being so friendly and for being so helpful read more

Deceptive advertising/marketing. I was looking for Howard Leigh brand ear plugs. I checked Walgreens web site to see if they have them. They list it as not sold on line, find it and the price at store. I check and it lists 6 to 9 in stock at the Grass Valley store. Then you notice the " * " at the bottom of the pop up window. It basically is their legal weasel words about the quantity may not be accurate. Understatement of the week! Went there and not only did they not have any there was not even a shelf spot for them. Was in Rocklin and checked a Walgreens on Sunset Blvd. Exactly the same story. In stock on line, in store not there and no shelf spot for them. Deceptive listings to get you in the store and then hope you will buy something when you are there. From other reviews I will not be using AARP/Walgreens medicare part 'D' insurance plan either. Lost out twice there, not a good way to run a business. read more

Bad bad bad pharmacy. Went through the drive thru and the lady before me was super mad because their system was down (not her fault) so when it was my turn I was extremely understanding. My meds were ready but the system couldn't process my insurance. Well 70$ meds or 8$ meds after insurance, I'm definitely going to wait for the system. I was told I would receive a text asap and to come back or come inside because they needed to keep the drive thru moving. I was assured I would receive a text. I kindly agreed. 3 hours later with the feeling of death stroking my hair and no call or text, I call and the nice man said my insurance went through and it was ready 3 hours ago. The pharmacy at this location is TERRIBLE. I have gone here for 3/4 Covid vaccines and it gets worse every time I go. Today really added the cherry on top. I have had asthma my entire life... I've relied on countless inhalers and nebulizers to make breathing comfortable for many, many years. I made a 10am appointment to receive my second Covid booster and I checked in with a pharmacy tech. She asked if I was immunocompromised and I said I have asthma. She proceeded to tell me I am not immunocompromised and asthma isn't one of the criteria to receive the second booster shot (which is not true... the CDC says that if you have asthma that needs to be actively treated then you are eligible). So I proceeded to explain that I am eligible for the second booster as I have had asthma my entire life and it's literally a lung disease that can become extremely exacerbated by Covid. And she says to me, "I don't think it will help you, but you can do it if you sign this form." So I signed the form. The pharmacist continued to take her time with administering the shot and it wasn't in my arm until 10:40am. It was 40 minutes past my appointment time and it wasn't busy inside the store nor at the drive thru. I'm pretty sure they hoped I'd just ask for my vaccine card back and walk out. read more

Very good prices, clean store, close to where I live. Horrible customer service, especially during the day. I've been there once at night and there was a guy cashier who was very very nice. The two girls that work in the day are slow, rude and unprofessional. When I left today one of them was sitting outside (on her break I assume) with her shoes off smoking a cigarette right in the walkway. I had to walk past her with my son and thought it was ridiculous shes allowed to sit on the sidewalk and smoke where customers have to walk past. Gross. read more

This store really irritated me. They have a "club" you can join to get discounts on medications. You pay $35 a year to join. After that they still charge you more for Medications than you can get them down the street at Walmart. A little honesty once in a while will keep more customers than what you pulled read more

I personally love this Walgreens location, they always have a ton of people working so if you need help you rarely ever have to wait. I use them a lot for photo printing....they're quick and I can always find coupons online. Someone is always at the photo desk so pick up is quick. Super friendly staff. read more

The pharmacy department at this location is absolutely terrible. If I was able to give zero stars I would. They are slow, refuse to help you out with any issues with your prescriptions and are extremely rude. Whomever manages this location needs to reevaluate who is working for them. I tried to use the GoodRX app and printed coupon to lower the price of a really expensive medicine and they refused to process it without a special card. After contacting two other Walgreens in the area I was told that what they told me was wrong. Due to the differing information I literally had to make four trips to this location. The saddest part is the way that one of the women working there talks to the elderly, unacceptable. My advice is stay away. CVS will be filling my prescription instead. read more

I just moved and dealt with this pharmacy for a single prescription which required five visits to the location. Twice their systems were down the third time I skipped my lunch to pick it up since it's down the street, after waiting in line for 20 minutes and not moving I had to go back to work. The fourth time I went 40 minutes before work and alas, that wasn't enough time either! Luckily the fifth time I was able to get it (still took about 15 mins with only one person in front of me.) I declined the consult since I've been on the medication for over ten years. But that wasn't what really killed me on this pharmacy. A few days later I got a voicemail from the pharmacist, saying she had questions for me. Once I ignored, but when I got a second voicemail I thought something was wrong. I spent over an hour on hold and got nervous when they had already closed and I was still on hold. I used a second phone to call the store itself and was able to get someone from the front of the store make someone from the pharmacy answer my question. Apparently this was just a courtesy call and she was just checking in. If they are so behind they can not get to things timely, why are they making more work for themselves, to call me not once but twice? I've never seen a pharmacy do this. Also, the real kicker is after I hung up the second phone call, I let my first that was still on hold stay on the line another five minutes before I hung it up. Don't waste the time I did with the level of ineptitude this pharmacy show, there's a CVS not and I've always had better luck with them. read more

I kept from writing a review but I need to speak up. It's sad I will never know the service I'll get at the pharmacy! It's either really good only by 1 lady or I get told times that aren't correct for pick up and a lady there isn't friendly to anyone every time I go! There is one lady in the makeup dept who's amazing and always gives advice on makeup and a red headed lady who is cashier. Out of that entire store thank you to the few that are nice. I've had multiple issues with this pharmacy. They never follow up if there is an issue with a prescription. Instead, they delete it. I placed a refill order Tuesday night with a set pick up on Thursday. I logged in to see there was a delay. By Friday they had deleted it and told me I'd just have to wait until Monday because they had no record of my prescription even though I had a confirming e-mail and RX number. No thank you Jackie for the lack of customer service and unwillingness to follow up on this issue. Now I'm out of the Rx and can't call my doctor to get a new pharmacy until Monday. This is NOT the first time so I know this was more than just a system error. These guys are beyond lazy. I've been trying to like you for 6 years and I'm done. I asked for a manager and was again told I could call Monday. In other words, they would not follow up no matter what. read more
