In the middle of the wash I heard a super loud banging sound (like a hammer being hit) all along the side of my brand new car and now have $4000 worth of damage to my car. I immediately went in to the employee working at the front desk who shooed me away and told me to come back during a weekday when management was available. Of course I returned on Monday and the employee took pictures of the damage and sent it to his manager. We were told to get a quote and bring in the quote to the store. When we brought in the $4000 quote to them, we were told it "might take a while to hear from insurance". It is now the middle of March and I haven't heard a peep. I've been brushed off. It's obvious that they are hoping the situation would be forgotten. I am so disappointed in this company and the customer service.

A bathroom stall has been out of order for over three days. It took me 10 to 15 minutes to get the TP out of the remaining stall dispenser, while the two employees are gabbing at the kitchen while I appeared to be the only customer at 1:15 am. Pumps are often not working and run out of receipt paper. Sadly, a strawberry blonde night manager was the last straw. After angrily telling her my situation, she became hyper defensive and out of line with absolutely no people skills whatsoever. That inspired me to write this post!!!

I recently went in to purchase (wing and a prayer) lottery tickets like I occasionally do. Since they are a Placer County business and it is my regular place, I always go there so that when I win (someday) the business will benefit as well! It had been a long week and a long work day and I was not paying my usual, careful, OCD self attention. I purchased, left money and walked out. I was in my car getting ready to leave when the manager, Charity, came out and approached me. Jacob (who was very nice) was assisting me inside and Charity had come over to assist him. When I left I walked out without change (a decent amount). Together Charity (along with Jacob) ensured I got that sorted before I left. I want to commend both Charity & Jacob who are already friendly, polite and helpful. They are also, clearly, honest as the day is long. This was one of those moments in life which helped reinforce the goodness of people. President Ronald Reagan said, "I know in my heart that man is good, and that what is right will always eventually triumph, and there is purpose and worth to each and every life." I know about the unpredictability of using henna and then dying with color, especially with products that use developer, due to the chemical reaction between the two. What I'm disappointed about is that when I asked about which dye to use, it turned into a conversation about how much of a bad decision it was and that I was going to "go bald" by burning all my hair off. How I expected the conversation to go was to do a test strand and purchase a sample bottle of a lifting agent before using a permanent color dye. After being discouraged from coloring my hair, I went ahead and bought my regular hair products, along with a new pair of scissors, since my previous pair had outlived their usefulness. Safe to say I won't be returning here again.
