Enchilada Cheese
Kyja W.

I've had this place on my list of restaurants to try for a while, so when friends had it as an optional dinner spot to meet up at, I jumped at the chance. The ambiance is very Tex-Mex. It's casual but trendy, and a definite good place for friends to meet up. They brought us chips and salsas on a little lazy Susan which was cool. The smoky salsa is served warm which I really enjoyed and the green salsa was addictive. The supposed habanero in the bottle had distant habanero flavor but zero spice. As someone who loves habanero salsa, this was a little disappointing. The fact they serve it in a squeeze bottle as if diners will only be able to handle a drop or two is honestly laughable. However, the chips and other salsas were great. For my meal, I got the cheese enchiladas. I finished my plate! It was really yummy. My only critique is I wish the cheese had been meltier and gooeyer. My husband got the shrimp tacos and they were incredible (sorry I didn't get a picture!). Our friends were happy with their choices as well. The menu said all entrees were supposed to come with rice and beans, but we were only brought 2 each for our table of 4 as "for the table." This confused me and I guess we should've advocated better. One friend who only wanted rice and no beans passed the rice and beans around that were sat next to me and asked our waitress for more rice and beans. However, they brought just one more of each and said friend immediately placed it next to her husband who already had the other beans near him (lol!). I specifically said "everything!" and pointed to the rice and beans when I ordered my meal, so this was very odd to me bringing just two initially "for the table." I felt awkward about asking for my rice and beans back so I just stayed quiet. Had they brought everyone their own as we were supposed to receive, all would've been great. Very weird but again, I should've spoken up. Our waitress was nice over all, but yeah. All in all, a fun spot that has other locations around town! I would definitely like to come back to try brunch and other lunch/dinner items as well.

We love the food/atmosphere at Superica and enjoy coming here before Braves games. The Superica salad with grilled chicken is one of my favorites. The salsas and the margaritas are standout items. Oh, the tortillas! Can't forget the buenellos dessert. Oscar was our waiter last time and made the experience even more enjoyable. The hostess was sweet as well. The wait time can vary, sometimes you can get seated quickly but there is often a wait before a game.

Great service with a smile offered quickly and efficiently. Ty w menu options are really good even for kids. The chips are awesome with a light and fluffy texture and a crunchiness too. The El Lopez plate was very good and I also really enjoyed the guacamole!

The food is the superstar here! Best enchiladas I've ever had! Delicious meat, cheese and that yummy verde sauce. It's usually very busy but the staff's got you covered. They are always there right when you need them. I love the vibe. Cool booths, fun bar, always a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air for food and cocktails.

The food was delish! Came for brunch. And ordered the most popular dish. Huervo Ranchero. I got my eggs fully cooked as I don't like over easy, and crispy bacon with baked beans. And it was sooooo flavorful and delicious. Then we ordered ONE pancake as they are huge and split it and loved the syrup, it was Caramel like. Didn't take a photo, but highly recommend! Service was cool. He wasn't as attentive as I'd like for it not to be super busy. Enjoyed the ambiance as it's walking distance to all the battery entertainment and clean establishment and restrooms. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend the margaritas. I had a ginger spicy margarita and had to get another. We enjoyed the fresh salsa with guacamole. The waitress recommended we get the chicken with the queso and we did not regret it.

First time coming to this location! If you plan to come during game day, concerts days, peak hours then you will need to make a reservation ahead of time. Me and my friends went to Chris Brown concert this past weekend. Reservations were made for 4:15 on that Saturday. Due to the high volume of people who were concert goers like us the place was already crowded. We had to wait about 15 minutes before we could be seated. Once we were seated, the server Jasmine brought out chips and three types of salsa. I chose to get the fried fish tacos one of my friends got the Al Pastor Tacos and another got the shrimp tacos. We split an appetizer of guacamole and queso. Both appetizers were great! The ambiance is a classic Tex-Mex style restaurant. If you're ever in the battery & looking for a good tasting tacos then please give this place a try!

Superica is always a hit! This was my first time going to their brunch and I was more than satisfied with my experience. The vibe is casual with a quirky retro Tex-mex decor - the big bus in the patio area is a very nice touch. My server Kennedy was personality PLUS! She was so fun and provided great recommendations and got us everything we needed in a timely manner. My partner and I both said we would come back to visit! I had the soup & Hot cakes - THOSE HOT CAKES ARE AMAZING. They come with a caramel syrup type of situation that elevates it to the tip top of pancake perfection. My partner had the steak & eggs which is on par for him bc he usually gets the fajitas. I did not try his meal bc he likes his meat well done and that's not tasty to me. He did say it was great & by the looks of his plate at the end (empty!) I could believe it! The ginger margarita was top notch and perfect for an AM cocktail. *wink*

I really love the food and drinks here! We walked in and were seated within 20mins on a busy Sunday which is great. Only downfall was we were given the incorrect order and had to wait for the replacement when we were in a hurry to make it to a concert next door. Our waitress was very nice and did her best to correct it as fast as possible. I would still come back!

Fajitas

Overall - 4.5 stars. Margaritas are the BEST (specifically the jalapeño margarita). The green salsa and queso are my favorite. We got the chicken/steak fajitas for two and it was more than enough food. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations on game days but we at least got to have a drink at the bar beforehand.

Had a party of 6 here Tues night. It's loud and very packed at 6pm. The waiter was very nice, the guacamole is fire so get that! The salsas also very good. I wasnt really hungry so I had a kids quesadilla. It was bland and nothing special. Others had steak and chicken quesadillas, they said the same. Fajitas and salad looked really good. Those who had drinks said they were tasty. I'd skip it unless drinks and chips and guac.

Neat place in the Battery next to Braves Stadium. Short wait to get seated tonight. Service was Ok. The server seemed a little clueless. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food. I got the Beef tacos which were tasty. Prices are a high for the food but I guess it's what's expected at the Battery. Margaritas are good but small for the $11 price tag.

Ray I.

Great place to snag a spot at the bar if you can get there early enough before a game. Varying salsas are tasty and they do a decent pour for the drinks. Bar service is far better than the general seating service, so if you can, get there a little early to snag a spot at the bar.

I was really looking forward to trying Rreal Tacos, but unfortunately my experience was…read moredisappointing. The biggest issue was the wait time. We were told there would be a wait, but it ended up taking about an hour and a half to be seated--even though there were multiple open tables visible the entire time. It was confusing and frustrating watching empty tables sit unused while guests continued waiting. Once seated, the service didn't improve much. The wait staff seemed unsure about their responsibilities, and there was a noticeable lack of coordination. It felt disorganized rather than busy. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. After such a long wait, that was especially disappointing. Good food and good service can make up for delays, but unfortunately neither hit the mark during this visit. I hope this was just an off night because the atmosphere has potential. With better organization and attention to service, the experience could be much better.

We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. It was plenty for our party of 4 and they'll give you more chips if you need them for the amount of dip you get, just ask. I got one each of the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.

If anyone from the LR team sees this my husband and I are very legitimately wanting to partner on opening a sister restaurant in Boston. It's the only way I can think to fill this gap. I MISS YOU LITTLE REYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Also ps one time there was a person who seemed potentially homeless who came into the restaurant and was lingering around a bit while we were there. Rather than kicking him out the manager came over, took his order and gave him a free dinner. Quietly, without causing a fuss. In the world we live in today the kindness is refreshing. Halal tacos in a small store in a gas station - how can you get more authentic than that?…read more The meats served here are all halal, which is great! I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I think I saved this spot due to some friends recommending it. Pretty decent food for a gas station…read morespot. The hubs choose x3 shrimp birria tacos while I had the beef birria quesadilla. I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
