A few of my friends like to frequent the bars of Wall Street Plaza on the weekend. I will go every now and then if there is a good band playing or something special going on. To me, the bars within Wall Street are nice enough, but it is all just a little pricey for what is offered. On the weekends, Wall Street Plaza hosts it's weekly "Block Party" in which they close off the area and charge one admission for the whole area's bars. While this sounds like a good deal, I wouldn't normally pay to go in any of these bars. So basically I am just paying to stand in the closed off "street" in between all the bars with all the other sorry saps. It can be fun on the weekends, and it is usually pretty busy on a Saturday night (too busy for my liking) with all the college kids and young professionals, but I'd much rather pay cover for one great bar instead of a pricey cover for 8 so-so ones. read more

Went to the City skip a day and all I can say is I had such an awesome Friday!!!! Although it was very hot I still had a great time, I loved the fact that I was able to use the resturant bathroom that was an A++++. Not to many spotsto sit at but at least I had a bench lol. The prices for a water bottle were CRAZY almost $3! But over all I had a great time, this is my second time at Wall street plaza and both times I had a blast!! and free beer HELLLOOOOO!Nuff said lol read more

eh. it's ok. it's a nice place to drop by during the week cause it's not filled with obnoxious crowds and college kids. However, be careful on the weekend... it gets packed and it's just cheesy. I do love the businesses that fill this street though. My fav is The Money Bar and The Other Bar. Both great stops. Every spot has it's own feel and own thing going on inside. I would urge you to check out each spot separately during the week. Some spots have special nights like The Other Bar on Monday's has stand up comedy night, awesome! Bingo after dark at Waitiki on Sundays... like I said, this spot is better during the week. read more

This place reminded me of the French Quarter, just not as big or as fun in some respects. It's a giant block party on any given Saturday night and there wasn't a cover on the particular Saturday that my group decided to try it out. They had a band playing at the far end and you could buy drinks anywhere along the way and mingle to your heart's content. I was a bit overwhelmed at first and the cobblestones make it hard to dance but the crowd was lively and having a good time. I will definitely come back and really try to make a night out of it so I am on the same level as everyone else, it's not as fun if you aren't imbibing at the same rate! read more

I'm sorry, but this place is no fun. The "block party" concept is appealing, until you find out every bar in the place is basically the same. The names reflect the decorative gimmicks inside the bars. If you do go, I recommend staying out in the street area, because the tiny bars get super packed. This is another place that is full of past their prime "bros" that have no manners. As expected, the drink selection is pretty standard to what you'd find anywhere downtown. They're not cheap but not overly pricey either. read more

So much fun here. We visited on a Saturday night. The area was lively and there were people having a good time everywhere you went. This was my favorite spot with a love DJ, drink specials and multiple bars to pick from. One was giving away popcorn to customers. There was also alcohol mist which was a new experience for me. read more

This is always a great place....Tonight was a cool night (literally) and a "cool" night.. They had a live band...it was amazing. I like the fact its more than one bar so bar hopping is easy and I could still enjoy the band which was outside in the courtyard area!!!! read more

Came here twice as a tourist and had an overall pretty good time. The first visit was for the new year's party, which was an amazing time. We came later that week on our trip and it was much more calm, but I did appreciate the variety between the bars here. There were enough different options to keep everybody in our group happy. Further, there were a number of street food vendors within a block of the plaza with very affordable, quality food. Grabbing a taxi was also really easy at the end of the night. read more

A lot of variety and normally no cover at all to get into all of these places: Cantina, The Loaded Hog, One-Eyes Jacks, The Globe, Slingapours, The Other Bar, Waitiki (Monkey Bar upstairs). I go only at nights but there are some great lunch options as well. Beware of some the regular homeless people by the Subway when you first get in because they tend to be on a short leash from being rejected so much. The whole plaza can get filled up on special occasions like a Magic playoff watch party which can lead to an especially fun night. Taco Tuesday is just on example of countless drink and food specials that can be had throughout the week. It takes a lot of navigating before you can really master what places best suit your liking and mood. read more

This is where you go if you've just turned 21 and want to go "downtown" to have the same experience you'd have at your local college frat bar. That's not the worst part though. Just to get in you have to deal with a security crew that is extremely confrontational and over-zealous. I understand security at a club can be dangerous and/or boring and isn't the best paying job - but when bouncers are initiating aggressive behavior with guests and pushing for conflict you have a serious problem. When the security staff was asked for names they refused to disclose the information and got even more aggressive. At this point I watched them physically push a non-aggressive or confrontational guest off of the property while shining lights in his face and shouting. This establishment treats guests like herded cattle and gives their $10/hr security crew a lot of rope. Maybe some folks like that... We were visiting Orlando for a short weekend vacation and ended the trip here. We had a blast! The street was turned into a block party with music and people everywhere. There were many bar options and even bars in the middle of the street-we didn't wait longer than 5 minutes to get a drink. The crowd was mixed and seemed to have people from all parts of the world. If you didn't feel like dancing you could people watch. There was security to ensure that everyone was over 21. Would definitely come back here if we ever visit Orlando again. read more

The Security of this establishment is the coolest they let me and my crew in even though me last night. And my brother just turned 19 for 20 bucks a peice and a drink for a tip. I have 2 opinions of WallStreet Plaza. If they are having an event, and it is done well, I really, really like it. On a non event day or night, I can take it or leave it. Last night was their St. Patricks Day event, and it rocked. I don't know where they got the band, but they were awesome. Play rock with a fiddle and bagpipes, so you can throw in some traditional Irish music, how can you top that? Well have some killer drink specials to go along with it at all the bars. People watching was off the chart with every one's outrageous green outfits. I especially liked the lime green women's wigs that were so popular this year. If you're looking for variety in establishments, this is it. Very intelligently, they take advantage of the placement of the bars, and hold events like block parties on a regular basis. I'm not one to flock to things like that normally, but this just feels comfortable. read more

Wall St USED to be awesome until they started charging a $5 cover every weekend. It used to be free to get in which was awesome and it was always packed and poppin. The past year they have been charging cover and the crowd has definitely gone down, so now you pay $5 for half the crowd. Plus the drinks at all the bars inside are overpriced for the tiny amount of low shelf alcohol in tiny plastic cups. Wall st is awesome during major events like St Pattys day, Halloween, etc bc there are alot of people so paying cover is worth it. They are just being greedy now and need to stop charging cover if it's not a major event. Go down the street to Pourhouse and get in for free, pay $3 for a strong drink in a glass and hear great music in a classy spot. Money much better spent! read more

Wall Street is one of those spots that I just know I'm going to have a bad time at whenever I go. it could be because I live in downtown orlando and have been frequenting the bars for some time now. If you like overpriced drinks that you have to wait 10 minutes for, terrible bartenders, a completely bro'd out crowd, and just an uncomfortably crowded experience.. this spot's for you. From my experience, the people I know that frequent these bars are fresh from moving back from their college towns and don't know any better. Wall Street is the closest thing downtown to the terrible freshman/sophomore year college bars that I used to frequent when I was younger. I can honestly recommend a better alternative to anyone, no matter what kind of night you're looking for. If you're going to Wall Street, you're making a downtown rookie mistake. read more

I have always loved the Wall Street concept. Anywhere I can wander the streets drink in hand and not worry about open container laws are good in my book. Wall Street is a block of 7 bars of differing themes all owned by the same person. Meaning grab a margarita at the Cantina Bar and then wander over into the Globe Bar with your glass in tow and nobody cares. This is a fabulous idea because how many times have you bought a drink and then decided you really weren't into the scene at that particular establishment but had to suck it up while you sucked it down. Plus, there really is something for everyone in Wall Street. Hip hop dance club, swanky martini bar, sports bars, and much more. And on Saturday they set up a huge stage and host bands on the street for an added element of entertainment. I always take out of towners here because its a great taste of Orlando and everybody loves the variety and ability to catch some Florida air while strolling down Wall St. read more

This open area of 8 bars is awesome! you have so many different bars and themes to choose from. Its easy to get stuck on wall st. with all the activity going on in one location. So glad I just signed up for Yelp, I have been looking for a good place to share my opinion on stuff in the Orlando area. This is my first of many reviews. I recently moved to the Area for work and have been checking out the local fair. This place was ok, it was kinda crowded and messy, which is understandable because it was a weekend. It took a while to get service and when I did get served my drink was week, but at least I over paid for it. My friend got her phone stolen and when she approached security they didn't try to help at all. I was disappointed in this place because I heard so much about it. read more
