First visit, Wednesday Night and the place is packed. Super friendly service! Waitress was running everywhere and renamed friendly the whole time. Wife and I tried the Wally's Way Patty Melt with Wallys Famous Fries; fresh ingredients with perfect serving size. Finished dinner with a Blue Berry Cobbler, it was excellent! Ended up here after a favorite Mexican restaurant down the street was closed. Thought we'd give this a shot based on good reviews but overall it wasn't anything special. The atmosphere is nice and but for being called a draft house other then your run of the mill beers there were only a couple of craft beer options. The menu was pretty limited and we got a French dip and chicken club sandwich. The chicken was bland but the other ingredients made the sandwich good. The French dip lacked flavor. The French fries and house chips were good and our server Sadie checked on us multiple times during our meal and made sure we didn't need anything. I may return for happy hour when the appetizers are discounted but probably not for lunch or dinner. read more

Wife and I ear here almost weekly. Great food and service. Brunch also recommended on Sunday. They can get busy but do take reservations. We need more places like Wally's and fewer Applebee's! Our only issue has been trying to enroll in their frquent guest program which seems to be poorly conceived. read more

We LOVE Wally's! Living in Raintree, the location is obviously convenient so we have become frequents. Anything on the menu is absolutely fantastic and the drinks are well made. But the best part is the atmosphere. It's a place where the staff will remember your names, your orders and what you talked about last. You just can't beat the friendly environment. read more

You know, I have meet most everyone that waits tables there prior to the virus and tonight we opted for curbside service. If they weren't local I don't know if I'd go two stars. I ordered and paid on line - they said 20-25 minutes. I showed up and text them that I was there and the vehicle I was driving. A young lady waiting on cars asked my name I told her and then waited for 45 minutes after the 25 minutes they suggested it would take. They already had my money - so I waited. I finally received my food almost an hour late. I'll wait till we are back towards normal before I endure this level of incompetence. I'd vote no to curbside, which is sad because it was a nice place before. read more

I've been in a few more times since my last review and I like this little place more and more each time I go. On one occasion they got my house made potato chips 'almost' right, not a big deal but the owner came by and insisted on redoing them. I appreciated that. I was in on Friday night and was thrilled to have a choice on what to watch beside sports on every TV. There was a channel with news and one with The Food Network. Finally! Here's the thing, I trained to be a chef in my 20's... I haven't worked in the business for quite some time after I sustained an injury to my hand but I've never lost my love and curiosity for food and ways to prepare it. I think it's completely appropriate for restaurants to have the food channel on. If someone is willing to go out and spend money on food (other than the fast food junk) they probably have some type of appreciation for food. I visited with the owner for a couple of minutes & he said their specials are posted to their facebook page. On this visit, I had the chicken strips (aka cluckers) and fries. They were good. It might just be me, but whenever I have them I notice how great freshly fried chicken tastes but I also also end up thinking they could benefit from a little more salt. This is a huge difference from a lot of places that over salt their food in an attempt to compensate for less than flavorful food. Just something I'll throw out there in case they get similar feedback from other guests. I also had the blood orange mojito and was not disappointed. Finally, the servers have been unfailingly friendly and the food comes out quickly. Glad this little place is in the neighborhood. read more

Went here on a Monday for lunch. Close to the neighborhood. Wanted to check it out. Atmosphere and service were very nice. Clean and quaint. Looks like a cute place to have a beer. Waitress was accommodating and sweet. Appetizer: cheese curds. A little over cooked and a tad overpriced in my opinion. $8 for a very small bowl. It came with ranch and warm marinara. Tasted fine - but I can get frozen ones that taste the same for half the price. Meal: I just wanted a cheeseburger and fries. Ten bucks. Their menu was pretty limited and I figured (as always) that a burger is something you can't really mess up too badly. I was extremely hungry and would have eaten anything at this point. I figured it would be delish since a huge part of their menu was burger and sandwich type items. Blah. Bun wasn't warmed or toasted. Burger was dry and over cooked. Lacked flavor. Nothing special. Almost tasted like a cafeteria burger. I have no desire to go back here and left very unsatisfied. The fries are also very well done and almost charred. Not sure what they were aiming for there. Not what I expected or wanted. Overall, it was a very dry and well done lunch. No juicy burger. I wanted to give this place five stars, but nope! read more

I really like this restaurant. Very close to home with a small but comfortable feel. The menu provides a variety of choices to satisfy even the most diverse palates. Portions are a bit small but always fresh ingredients are used. Plenty of large screen TVs with a multitude of sports programming for your viewing enjoyment. Great Service and good options. I had the chicken club sandwich and my wife had the Veg flatbread and both were great. Only complaint and reason for the 3 stars and not higher was the smell of the pet grooming shop next door was highly noticeable and very off putting UPDATE We have been back twice in the last 30 days and have not noticed the smell as before. This restaurant is a hidden gem! It has been our family's favorite since it opened. My kids love the cluckers (they are amazing hand breaded chicken strips). My husband always gravitates towards the fish tacos and I try something new every time and am always happy with what I choose. But the salmon sandwich is probably my absolute favorite! The wife and I tried this place for the first time the other night. We had the Cowboy Nachos for an appetizer and my wife had the best Bloody Mary she's ever had. I had a nice craft beer. We really like Wally's. It's a wonderful, local spot to get amazing food. My go-to is the Cowboy Nachos; the pulled pork and cowboy beans make them extra delicious. The new tenant of the extremely lame bar formerly known as Westside is an improvement in every way.....decor, use of space, tvs....food, service and owner. Pulled Pork Nachos were awesome the second time I had them. HH price is a steal. The burger was very good and absolutely homemade. Fries equally excellent. Checked out this place based on other reviews and I can definitely say that I'm not disappointed! Wally's special bloody mary is indeed special. One of the best I've ever had. On the first visit I tried the chicken fingers and they were outstanding and the french fries were very addicting. On the second visit I had a burger and they are BIG burgers. Very good and filling. This is a comfy neighborhood bar located in a strip mall on 150. Warm and relaxed. A modern bar that is well stocked with favorites. There is a patio for warm evenings. It is a place you can take the kids. I love the cluckers. read more
