We stop for a quick bite. We enjoyed the atmosphere for a bar/ grill . Clean and full of people. Some what loud but you can have a conversation The service was excellent, good recommendation by the waitress. The foid was hot, fresh and just what I was looking for. It tasted good. So it was noon , they were busy but it seemed very comfortable and smooth running place. No cocktails for us so I can't comment about the Bar. Fun place, I will return

We went on Sunday for their special brunch menu. Service was great, the food was amazing, and the outdoor patio with fans and tvs were amazing. I highly recommend going here and they have a loyalty points program!

I had heard about this place once when visiting Love coffee nearby, and a lady had mentioned that she had the best chicken noodle soup here. It didn't seem possible to me because from my vantage point, at the coffee shop, this place looked like a bar, and I thought anyone with a few drinks in them thinks bar food is spectacular. I was very mistaken. This place is more like a well-hidden gem in Lee's Summit. A must visit pub if you so happen to drive through this town, on your way elsewhere, and are looking through Yelp for a place to fill your tummy rather than resort to the golden arches, befriend your own physical tank here. We decided to visit this place since we were in the mood for a light bite to eat and a new place to try. Our waitress was very nice and made us feel welcome but not in an overbearing way, like at some places where it feels like they are trying to be. My husband ordered the Cowboy Nachos and really enjoyed it. I ordered the Chicken Quesadillas and loved them. We shared both, and I was impressed with the flavors, and again I wasn't very hungry so that should say something. I am certain that we will be back, and I'm sure that I will try that Chicken Noodle soup.

Champagne in a wine glass. $1 more than a flute and well worth it!

Wally's has a great brunch! I had a mimosa (minus the orange juice ) to start. I ordered the Wally's Classic...Eggs, toast, bacon and breakfast potatoes. Everything was good but the breakfast potatoes are amazing! My husband had the scrambler with sausage gravy and a biscuit and also thought it was really good. Everyone was friendly and I was excited to see a local place so busy and doing well!

Out for cousin dinner and we were excited to try this place, nice atmosphere and the service was fantastic! It got really busy an I knew it must be good folks were happy to wait to be seated. We were not rushed and we order 3 appetizers off the happy hour menu. That was fantastic and so glad our server showed us the cocktail list. That porky sandwich was so tender it melted in my mouth! I'm so pleased they went with a brioche bun it was amazing. They fries were delicious not those frozen bag kind but fresh cut potatoes! The salmon was done perfect and the mashed potatoes seasoned well! Great restaurant.

Great bar with plenty of space, openness and choices!

Do you have any "off menu" daily specials for tonight (Friday)?

Hi there! We don't currently do any specials. The labor shortage makes that a bit challenging for us right now. We hope to be able to soon! Our new menu is being rolled out next week. A few new items coming!

The one night recently, we had a friend in town and we had all got to talking at the house and forgotten to make dinner and it was after 9 o'clock. In Lee's Summit, your choices are limited for restaurants that are open later than that. So we opted to drive out to Iron Horse Bar and Grill. We got some onion rings that were as big as donuts and very tasty. The appetizer plate is huge; three of us couldn't eat it all. We then got a southwest salad with chicken and shared that. And I got the hot beef sandwich and Melissa suggested some garlic mashed potatoes with that. It was very delicious. The drinks were cold, but just OK. We had some specific orders and it was the bartenders first closing shift. He will get better.

Saturday afternoon, we decided to slip away for some much-needed time together. After doing a little shopping, we stopped by Iron Horse Bar & Grill for appetizers and drinks, and it was a great experience. We ordered the Sampler Platter, which came with crispy fried pickles, bacon-wrapped shrimp, beer-battered onion rings, and chicken strips with dipping sauces. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed orange and mango mimosas, which were delicious and refreshing. On top of the great food and drinks, our waitress was excellent -- extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The customer service really made the experience even better. If you are ever in Kansas City and need a good place to grab something to eat and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, Iron Horse Bar & Grill is definitely worth checking out!

We had the caramel cream ale, which is in my top 5 beers of all time. Perfectly sweet and light. The peach tee kolsch was good too- a nice balance of peach. The cherry limeade wheat was right on the edge of sour. It was good that it was served in a smaller glass so we didn't do too much of it. We also did a shot of the stonebreaker cinnamon whiskey, which was a really nice collab between fringe and another local distillery. Super smooth with an oaky flavor on the background. Absolutely love the dark carnival decor, especially the pinball machines, the giant skeleton and the patio with a garage door interior. Highly highly recommend on every level. You should go!

What an amazing brewer in the KC suburb of Lee's Summit…read more First off the art work is eclectic and many pieces pay homage to the beers on tap. There is a story for much of the art work which I will not do a disservice by trying put it in a review. Go there, see it and ask they'll gladly share the story. Second, INCREDIBLE beers are on tap. I tasted 10 during my visit and every single beer was worth trying. My faves were: Freshly Squeezed Blueberry Lemonade Wheat, Apple Pie Milkshake IPA and Calliope Caramel Cream Ale. Finally, the most important part of the operation is the people. Every single person that was present made me feel welcome and like I was already a part of their community. WOW, I was left feeling like I'd made new friends which I know I did. I travel to KC at least once per year and every year I will return to support this awesome brewery. Thank you for a memorable experience.
