Made an appointment 2-3 days prior. Got several reminders. Show up on time only to wait 30 minutes as everyone there goes to lunch at the same time (1pm) ; so why let customers make 1:30 appts? Then after planning and waiting some bozo lets me know that they don't have oil filters for my vehicle. This could have been addressed before I got there today! Definitely believe the reviews....and then your imagination for what can go wrong! DO NOT COME HERE. I literally just left a little while ago. I wanted my headlights replaced, was quoted for an hour of waiting time. Cool. Walked through the store for an hour. An hour passed, and I realize that nobody looked at my car, so I ask at the desk what the deal was, and it was clear she both forgot and didn't put me in the queue, because she went to the mechanics and asked me to remind her which car was mine and what I needed help with. Then quoted me for 30 more minutes. ...fine. 30 minutes pass, and it's my turn finally. The mechanic tells me that they don't have the bulb that I need. BE WARNE!!.....We paid for an oil change on October 30, 2025 for $60.00 only to find out after checking my fluids after a road trip that there was no oil new or clean! I wax told that they'd never own up to it. I said, "No. Walmart isn't like those other shady places. That's why I didn't check the oil after the service." I returned last night from Florida after taking pictures and videos and adding a quart of oil myself so that my engine wouldn't blow only to have the nonchalant floor manager tell me it was a mechanical issue. He couldn't explain why my oil was dark and at the tip of my dipstick? He said, "I don't know but it was a mechanical issue and not on us." There's NO WAY that in less than 30 days that the oil is gone and jet black!! He didn't offer to change it nor refund it. When I told him that everyone said you'd say that, his face was priceless then he became even more "oh well" in his stance. I've only gone to them for Tires, never an oil change. You can best believe I'll never go back. They are officially on the list with jiffy lube and take 5! read more

Waited 3hrs to get a battery changed. I understand things can get backed up. However I was never notified (via text or the Walmart app) of any progress of my car. When I first checked in with Kim, she couldn't even find my name in their queue system and had to go and check with the maintenance team. After my 3rd check in she claimed my car still wasn't done as I stared at it in the parking lot. She presses the arm button on a random key fob and asks if that was my car?! Mind blown. I don't why there are so many negative comments.... I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the auto services team here. I got an oil change the other day that was done in FIVE minutes..... the fastest oil change I ever had in my life. Another time, I got a nail in my tire and they were able to fix it within an hour and were super nice about the whole process. That being said, I ALWAYS recommend making an appointment when going to get any type of car service done. If you show up with no appointment and expect them to help you immediately, that's a personal problem. Thanks for coming to my TED talk :) read more

Don't even bother! I know that there are challenges with labor in the services industry but as a multi-billion dollar corporation, Walmart can do so much better. Firstly be honest with your customers! I called and confirmed that oil changes are being done at the Gresham Rd. auto center. I get there just before they open at 9am, first thing I'm told, "I don't know if we're doing oil changes today, I'll let you know in 15 mins." About an hour passes and someone comes by, "What are you waiting on?" When I said an oil change, "Oh, nobody told you to come back at 2pm?" So I go and speak to a manager who said to come back in an hour TO SEE IF THEY'RE DOING oil changes TODAY! So at that point I said surely I can just call the store? He then claims to give me a direct line. So in about an hour, I call back the "direct line" and it's just the general line for the entire store and of course no one answers. So I go on Google and get the real auto center direct line, of course no one answers. So I drive back there because I basically took the day off to get my oil changed and when I arrive, "We're not doing oil changes today." I ask well are you doing them tomorrow? Went in for a simple tire repair. I could see the nail and the tire was fine but had a slow leak. Easy fix I'm thinking. Drop the car off at 2:30 and shopped while I waited. At 5:30 I get a text that they need me to come to the desk. When I get there they say that the tire can't be fixed, it has 3 cracks and a bulge. They then wanted me to put new tires on. I said no just bring me the car as is. Turns out they had already put 2 new front tires on. I had them remove the tires and put the original tire on that had the nail. Terrible service. After arriving early for my tire replacement appointment, I was left waiting for hours before they even brought my car into the bays. Then they gave me my car back without balancing the tires at all. No note in my paperwork, no discussion... nothing. I called to bring it back for balancing and they told me to come anytime. So I took off work and brought it in. After waiting another hour, they told me they 'ran out' of the weights to balance the tires so I'd just need to 'go to another store'. That's it. No apology. They were trying to keep my car overnight for a service they didn't tell me they were unable to perform. Do not waste your time. Go to Firestone or anywhere else. I dropped my car off for rear tire mounting at 4pm. I already had the tires, gave them my car make & model as well as the sizes. Expected it to take less than two hours seeing as it wasn't too busy, but come 5:50 I hadn't heard anything. Cool, I should've asked eta at the desk. I call in to check the status, no answer. Cool, I'll just drive up. I get there at 6:01pm, dude that checked me in was locking the door as I pulled up. Nothing done to my car. I'm not one of those people who doesn't understand closing times, but I did want to know when my car would be available the next day so I signaled the guy inside that I just had to ask that simple question. After shaking his head a few times and mouthing "we're closed", and after I heard some dude in the garage yell to me the same thing as if I wasn't standing before a locked door, he came over and I asked him if he could tell me when it'd be ready. After walking over to a mechanic who walked into the garage and came out after a few minutes, he told me they would be unable to change my tires for some reason that you wouldn't find at any other tire shop. "The sidewall is too small", but I've had these same tires changed at small shops across the street. I only came to Walmart for the prospect of balancing. They handed me my key and I went on my way. Then it hit me: if I didn't come up to the store and practically force them to open up, they would have kept my car and my keys overnight just to tell me the same bs in the morning when I came to pick it up. I'm glad they didn't waste anymore of my time, but damn was I fool to think they would have any change of service after the last bad reviews. read more

Don't waste you time! First, I visited this location on Wednesday at 4:30 because it says online that they close at 9. The nice lady behind the counter informed me that they couldn't work on my car because the tire shop closes at 5 and it's best to come before 4 o'clock. Secondly, I took off work early and returned on Friday at 1pm. The manager, Tremaine, told me that It would be at LEAST a 3 hour wait to get my tires changed. He also informed me that the store had run out of my exact tire but there were other options. Also, Tremaine stated, "we open at 8am tomorrow (Saturday) if you come at eight there won't be a wait.Don't come at 9. Be sure to come at 8am tomorrow. As soon as you get here, we can begin working on your car and you won't have to wait. Thirdly, I woke up early Saturday morning and arrived at 7:57 to be exact. As soon as I entered the building at 8 o'clock I heard the cashier say to another customer, " sorry sir we don't start working on tires until 9 o'clock." I respond with loads of frustration, "Ma'am, did I just hear you correctly? Your manager told me to come at 8 o'clock to get my tires changed so that I could avoid long lines." She replied, " I don't know why he told you that. He knows that we don't change tires until 9 o'clock. In fact, he creates the schedule. So I know he knows better!" Even though I still chose to stay and get my tires replaced and oil changed. After two hours & 30 minutes (10:30), The cashier informed me that my tires had not been replaced yet. Nobody could tell me why it was taking so long. I eventually asked for my keys, and left that location unsatisfied. read more

DO NOT COME HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Came here to have tires put on and after 4 hours of waiting they told me that they couldn't put on low profile tires. Went down the road to east side tires and they put them on in 45 mins and told me that walmart was being lazy and anybody should be able to put those tires on the rims. The line so long people was pulling out the line after sitting for so long. They need to do better. And that one star isn't for their service I had to put something just to post this. If you're looking to get your car fixed, PLEASE go somewhere else unless you want to be without your car ALL DAY for an easy fix. I dropped my car off when they opened (at 8 am) to get new tires. I stayed there for HOURS and at 12:30 pm I finally asked what was going on and when my car would be ready. I was told that I had two cars in front of me and my car should be done in about an hour or two (I had already been waiting for 4 hours!!!!) So I go home and at 3 o'clock I still haven't received a call. I call them to check on the status and she says they're (FINALLY) working on my car. Then two seconds later she calls and says the tire size I told them wasn't the right size and tells me the new size I need (that's also more expensive). Mind you, I looked up the tire size on WALMART'S WEBSITE. I get off of the phone with them and double check to make sure I didn't see it wrong on their website. As I expected, I was right. So I call them back to let them know...I GET NO ANSWER. I guess they're tired of answering my calls so they just decided to ignore me. It is currently 4:32 pm on the same day and I still have not gotten my car back yet, but I absolutely know I will NEVER be taking my car back here again. read more

I went there 2 days in the row because I needed my car battery replaced , the day before yesterday I got there at 3 pm and was told that they were no longer accepting customers and to come back at 12 noon the next day , got there at 12 noon yesterday , the lady behind the register was simply NASTY & UNPROFESSIONAL. I was very polite and said hello , fist thing that came out of her mouth was " can I help you ? ": with that tone that basically said what do you want ? After I explained to her that I needed a car battery replacement and I was told to come back at 12 noon today she simply responded " are you willing to wait 2 hours ? " again with that same nasty tone of voice , I simply thanked her and left , when dealing with people who have absolutely no type of manners, civilities , or common courtesy , it is best to remove yourself from that type of animalistic behavior , because if you engage them next thing you know they will call the police and they will accuse you of being disruptive ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE A BLACK MAN IN TODAY'S TIME . I took my business elsewhere and would not recommend that NASTY PLACE to anyone . I don't care who you or what yo are , no one should be treated that way or be made feel a certain way , you have people out there who have lost their jobs and everything else because of this COVID-19 and who would be so much appreciative of having a job right now , and yet we have these type of nasty individuals who are still employed and cannot even understand that the demands and needs of a customer is what will keep them employed .
