I recently had to get an oil change all by myself, and although I was embarrassed for feeling so clueless, the employee who worked on my car (I think his name was Blake??) was truly incredible and instantly put me at ease. He was so patient and understanding. All of the employees were working really hard. I was so impressed by their ability to multitask and still provide awesome, high-quality customer service. They apologized for my wait and explained that they were understaffed, but I didn't mind waiting at all because everyone was so nice! I drive an older Volvo, and resetting the oil change maintenance light is sometimes a bit tricky to figure out. Blake attempted to reset mine and said he wasn't sure how, but he immediately took out his phone and looked up a YouTube video to learn. Seriously so courteous!! I told him that I could play around with it when I got home because I didn't want to waste his time, especially while they were so busy. But I'm so grateful for his willingness to help! I also had a $10 off coupon, but Blake said he could give me a slightly better discount to thank me for my patience. It ended up knocking a few more dollars of my total cost, which was much appreciated. I'm getting all my oil changes at this location from now on!

My people told me not to go there because "the service department is the worst and they will find a way to make you feel like you are being screwed while you wear courduroy pants." I didn't listen and decided to try them out since they a in the neighborhood. I made my appointment for 9am. I dropped the car of at 8am, and told them I needed it back by mid afternoon. I called around 12:30pm and was told "there are six cars in front of you." I asked how that was possible because I had a 9am appointment. Her response was "I sorry but there are 6 cars in front of you." I then asked am I getting it back in the early afternoon as you agreed to?" they (Sarah) said "yes" Again after receiving no call from them, I call the service department at 3:15pm, thinking that this would be done by now because it does not take 6 hours to flush a transmission and refill it. But, I was told "let me ask the tech where he is on it." She (Sarah) then got back on the phone and proceeded to jack my quoted price up by $200 because there was something "special" that had to be done. I asked her what it was, but she made up some ridiculous word salad excuse. I then asked her if I was getting my car back today, she said yes. None of this was sitting well with me so I had my wife drive me over there at 4pm and when I got there, they began by taking me to the Customer Service Manager who happened to be sitting with one of the Techs. The began making excuses for the techs, the services girl, how busy they were, (Blah Blah Blah) and trying to explain what this special service was (which was completely unneccessary). It was a simply transmission flush. Finally, the service manage came in and was unaware that any of this was going, asked me if I was a "waiter?" As in "did I wait on site for the car to be fininsh?" I said no, because I had an appointment already, and was there with the car a full hour before my appointment to get serviced. He said "well, if you were here waiting for the car, we probably would have gotten it done in a couple of hours, but since you left, we just felt you would have it back to you by close of business." I have never heard of this kind of crap. What was the point of making and appointment? Finally the customer service manager asked the service manager "Where are we right now with the servicing of the vehicle?" and he said "I don't know?" She asked, "is it on the rack" He said "no!" It is now 4:35pm (and they close at 5). She asked him "is Mr Parker's car going to be finished today?" He said "with all of the communication issues on this, we can probably get to it tomorrow." About this time the professional reserved part of me left the room, and the poor black kid from North County, with a violent disposition stayed around and I lost it on everybody in the room. I stood up and told them (in my loud football coaches tone) how atrocious this experience has been, how everyone told me "Don't go to Don Brown for ANYTHING because they have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE CHEVY CARDEALERSHIP mechanism, and to simply "bring my f***ing car around. The funniest part of this was, I got the opportunity to repeat all of this, 1 min later to Mr. Don Brown himself, who tried to apologized for his shitty service department and the treament I received. In th end, no matter where you go to have you car serviced, DON'T GO TO DON BROWN CHEVROLET. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They IMMEDIATELY got us in (even though they had a full schedule & looked extremely busy. We ended up with a cracked wheel & they didn't have another to replace it with (wheels & tires for the Camero are very difficult to find anywhere) but for 3 hours the manager called around trying to find us one, they straightened out the computer gauges (Walmart had done it incorrectly whn we bought new tires) & spent a lot of time on our issue only for us to have to go elsewhere. The staff was excellent-informative, helpful, kind etc & we were barely charged ANYTHING. I'm not easily impressed (am OFTEN called high maintenance) so I don't give credit if it isn't earned.
