Get ready for a long one. Off the bat, Ron seems like a good businessman and generally a nice guy. He quoted me a great price for a level kit, wheels and tires. I was told that my wheels I wanted would be at the shop in 2 weeks (I'm assuming so he could secure a deposit from me, because I later learned that the wheels are on a nationwide back order of 1-2 months). After a lack of communication and poor transparency despite several text messages and phone calls, I ended up waiting about 6 weeks for the wheels. I felt as if I was chasing my own tail. I decided to wait for the wheels, mainly because he was reluctant to give me my deposit back, I figured maybe this is a one off situation, so I showed some grace. That was a mistake. 2 days before my appt, I informed Ron I'd arrive to the shop at 9am sharp, which he agreed and was aware of. Upon my arrival at 9am (opening time for the shop), I waited for over an hour before anyone even asked for my keys. Once the cogs finally started to move, I had asked to see the products before installation, to make sure they were correct. If it wasn't for me double checking, the incorrect kit would've been installed on my truck. When I confronted the employee about the incorrect kit, he responded with "this one is the best anyways". Turns out they opened the wrong box and tried to sell me on it anyways. Now for the wheels. Apparently after 6 weeks of waiting, and confirming with Ron and the KMC sales rep over the phone over a month ago regarding the model/spec of wheel, the "wrong wheels were delivered". So at this point, it's been an hour and a half since I arrived at the shop. My truck hasn't been touched, the wrong level kit was almost going to be installed, and my wheels weren't even present. With my frustration at this point, I asked what Ron could do to make me whole. I was told he could knock off $120 from the price and I would have to wait another order cycle for the wheels, for a grand total of 12-16 weeks from my initial deposit. Lackluster service. On their official website, this business claims that their "customer service is second to none. We are here to ensure that you get quality service from a team that cares!" This could not be further from the truth. I would save your time, money, and sanity and spend a few extra bucks going to a more reputable shop. read more

Mohammed was fantastic. Went in at 9am when they opened, went over some tire options, and asked if they can install a leveling kit that I bought previously. He was happy to help me with the leveling kit, and was very knowledgeable in the tires and gave me the right fit for my truck not only that, I had a very tight window as I had an appointment, and he put all four tires on and the leveling kit all within an hour. I chose to do business with Dixon tires because of the character over the phone. I tested them out. Risky maybe, but I believe in good people. And boy did I make the RIGHT choice! Terrible place to go for tires or alignment spend a few extra dollars and go get it done from a professional elsewhere... these guys are straight liars said they had my tires so they took my wheels and tires apart and found out they had to get them delivered I sat for 3 hrs waiting on delivery and then they screwed up my rims and mess up my alignment. Let me first start off by saying I treat people with respect and honesty. This place does neither. I came in on a Wednesday and showed the owner the type of rims I was looking for and told him the year and make of my car, which was sitting out front. His assistant also looked at my vehicle and told him the year and make (2023 Dodge Challenger Scatpack). He found the rim online, ordered it and said it should be there by Saturday but no later than Monday and contact me when they arrived. I called on Tuesday and he told me the rim had arrived earlier that day but never called me. I picked the rims up and had another tire place mount the tires because they gave me a better price on tires. When they tried to put the rims on the car they said the rims "did not fit" because the owner of Dixon tires had ordered the incorrect rims. I called to inform him of the mistake but he was not available and his worker told me to come in and they would take care of me. After arriving I asked to speak with the owner. He came out took a look at the rims and said the other tire place that mounted the tires on the rim are now responsible for the mistake and have them fix the problem?!!! WTH?!!! Instead of taking the rims back and addressing the problem he told me to purchase another set of rims for $1200 and he would help me sell the incorrect rims he sold me. I kept insisting that he was at fault and he should at least take the rims back and swap them out for another set of rims he had in stock at his location. He refused and continued to shift blame for his mistake to the other tire shop. Any person with common sense can see that this situation is totally "Dixon Tires" mistake and they should accommodate the customer for their mistake. Obviously, this is a horrible place to do business. Beware, beware, beware!!! "Do not" do business with "Dixon Tires"! I am a veteran and business owner myself. I treat my customers honorably and fairly. This owner has underestimated me and I will see him in small claims court. I deal with a lot of people but I've never been treated so unfairly by any business like this one. I will say it one more time: "DO NOT" do business with "Dixon Tire"!!! In the owner's reply to this review he fails to mention that he ordered the wrong rims for my vehicle! He's simply trying to deflect any mistake that was made by him initially and take any type of responsibility for his mistake. If he would have ordered the correct rims in the first place there would have not been an issue, period! When ordering the rims he had a young teenage boy come look at the model of my vehicle instead of checking himself. He sat in his office stuffing his face with food and was too lazy to get up and make sure the order was right. I even told him the make of my car and asked him several times if the rims would fit my car and he said they would. This is simply bad business practices and terrible customer service!!! I would advise anyone to look at the reviews that are posted here on yelp and beware! Go to a reputable tire shop that will give you guaranteed service if it makes a mistake. read more

I am from out of town & developed an alignment issue. Went into a Big Brand tire store in Dixon and was told "oh no, you must have an appointment, MAYBE next week"- really??? So I called Dixon Tires and they said they were busy, but they would fit me in. Upon arrival they got me up on the alignment machine, aligned and out the door in about 50 min.- not bad for a drop in without an appointment IMO. They also have a really good selection of truck rims. The one downside was there isn't any waiting room, -either drop off or prepare to wait outside but I was impressed with their service read more
