They charged me $320 for "ac maintenance", fully aware that there was a leak and I would have to return. Terry told me that the Freon in my vehicle was all gone, knowing it doesn't just dissipate, as he is the professional in this situation. I asked him about a possible leak and he told me they didn't locate one and my car did not indicate one when they scanned it digitally. He failed to provide me with the typical "digital diagnostic paperwork" normally given. When I returned, approximately 3 weeks later, Terry quoted me $1200 to fix the "leak" that they didn't discover during my initial visit 3 weeks prior, stating that "it passed the test and no leaks were discovered". I decided to get a second opinion. I noticed when I left their location that day my AC was blowing hot air and making a loud noise, which was not occurring when I took it in that morning. I was able to purchase the part needed directly from Volvo for $250, the same part Terry quoted me $633 for. I then took my vehicle to another, more reputable mechanic, who observed another broken piece that could have only been caused by the previous mechanic during the diagnostic phase of the before mentioned problem. I contacted Terry, informed him of this, and he agreed to reimburse me but later recanted. So not only did I lose $320 for a service that should have NEVER been completed but I'm also out of an additional $200 for a part Terry's technicians broke and tried to cover up. Do NOT trust these people. They are unethical and take advantage of those they deem as vulnerable and ill informed. It should be noted that even with the $320 I wasted with Terry, the problem being fixed and the additional $200 I was out of pocket because of Terry's technician's negligence, I still spent less than the $1200 Terry quoted me. It appears that Terry was aware of the broken piece and attempted to replace it in the overquoted $1200 price he gave me. I've contacted corporate as well as BBB.

I went over there in my Mercedes thinking I needed all these services done, after speaking with Terry, he said it didn't sound like I needed those services at that time. He said he also drives a Mercedes. So I trusted him when he said I didn't need those services. The oil change for my Mercedes was way cheaper than going to the dealership. Replace stuff until the issue goes away not truly a pro diagnostic process. IMO They listed many other issues they wanted to charge for wish I did not even ask to look at. Trying to up the bill to me. They up price parts and labor so your bill will be 2/3 more expensive than a smaller shop elsewhere. But considering that actual dealers do the same thing or worse.... the people are nice enough but don't expect to get out of there with a reasonable bill. Was the issue fixed? partially will see longer term. They only want to use OEM parts even though some after market parts are better. Example of part cost. Part cost aftermarket OEM compatable 130.00 they charge for part 530.00 and then their labor. Gun to the head and they have your car.

Recently, I brought my LS-430 to Kwik Kar for a tire rotation. When the technician was finished and he brought the car outside, there was a loud thumping sound. He took the car back inside to the shop and worked on it again. He said he didn't have the lug nuts on correctly. I then looked at the wheels and noticed a broken plastic hub cap. I pointed this out to the technician. He said he would order one and replace it. I told him he should have removed the plastic hub cap before removing the lug nuts and rotating the tires. This was an obvious procedure. After I got home, I noticed another broken hub cap. I called Kwik Kar and told the supervisor. I asked where he bought the hub cap so I could order one. I told him I would pay for the second hub cap because I didn't notice it before I left the shop earlier. I never received a call back. Kwik Kar has lost a customer. I will now take the car to the Lexus dealer for service. The wait is longer and the price is higher, but the care and quality is better.

I went on Christmas Eve for an oil change and the next day when I was on the highway every time I went over a bump I could hear a scraping sound. I drove to and from frisco with more and more damage being done each bump I went over. When I was able to look I could see the skid plate wasn't fastened to my car good enough after service. I went back the next day and told them about the issue. The same person from before ushered me into the shop. Tinkered for a good 10-15 minutes and said I was good to go. I trusted that they fixed what they messed up and drove off. I was headed out of town that day so needed my car drivable. I stopped to get gas and peered under my car-- their "fix" was using zip ties to fasten the plate to my car. I would have appreciated some ownership in their mistake and some honestly when they acted like they fixed the issue that THEY caused. Instead, they sent me off with me having to now go somewhere else to fix something they are responsible for. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but after that experience I have to. This was an infuriating and disappointing experience. I understand that the mistake of the skid plate coming loose could have happened anywhere, but the way this was handled with no respect makes me regret ever giving this specific store my business in the first place. He recommended the wrong one and, when I questioned it, became rude, dismissive, and disrespectful instead of taking the time to verify the correct specification. I requested another technician, and he completely turned the experience around. He was professional, courteous, verified that my vehicle required SAE 5W-30, showed me the correct oil before servicing my vehicle, and answered my questions with patience and respect. I appreciate the second technician for his excellent service. My only suggestion is to ensure all employees are well-trained on both vehicle specifications and customer service. That's the level of professionalism that has kept me coming back to this location.

When we arrived our car was already pulled in, and a sheet of what needed to be done was printed. Talked with them for a while, very honest in saying that our battery looks as if it was still under warranty, and advised we double check before purchasing a new one with them. They did complete an oil change, which was quick and affordable. Will say the online/website discounts were not honored at this location.
