The 1st after an hour and a half, I was told they couldn't get it done. my 2nd appointment after 2 hours of waiting they had no employees to get the work done. Came to Walmart Auto Care Center for 4 new tires. I priced out tires at a few places and Walmart had the best price for everything. I paid $406 for 4 brand new Goodyear tires. This included everything. My appointment took approximately an hour, which is what they estimated. I had also bought in store and added to my order 3 new windshield wipers. They don't accept appointments, walk-in's only. In trying to find out if they received the wipers and knew to put them on I approached Kurt, a mechanic there. Kurt was awful and had poor customer service skills. I asked him if he knew if the mechanic working on my car was putting on the wipers for me. Kurt's response was to say "I don't know" and continue to stand there. Kurt made no effort to find out the answer to my question I spoke to Brian, an Assistant Manager, about him. Turns on they did install my windshield wipers. Brian assured me that Kurt would be spoken to about how he spoke to and treated a customer asking a question. Lagray, who worked on my vehicle and assisted afterwards with an issue with the wipers was very helpful. read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, SHOP LOCAL! Here's why... Went into Walmart auto at 11am on a Sunday to see how much it would be to get one tire replaced. The counter worker told me I would need to make an appointment because they weren't taking any more tire service. Seemed unusual, but I said I'll make an appointment. The counter person then said he needed the tire size for my vehicle. I asked him if he could look it up for my vehicle model because I didn't know it off hand. He said he wasn't able to do that. So I went back to my car and got the info. I came back in, waited again, and then he asked me what type of tire I'd like and reviewed the options. While he was looking up tires I asked him how much an AC recharge is. He responded "It's $69 with $5 per ounce." Me, not knowing how many ounces go in to an AC recharge asked "Do you know how many ounces go in?" His response "No". I ask "Have you seen previous charges with sedans and have an idea where it could run?" His response "No". I said "Ok, then no AC recharge." He continued with my tire appointment "We can get you an appointment on Thursday." Reminder, it's Sunday. I said "No thank you" and walked out. There was no help in anything I encountered here. That means you have to drive to the store with car problems because you're trying to make an appointment at the garage. Then they have the nerve to tell customers, who just drove to the garage that they don't have anyone to help them in the store because they're understaffed? Wow, what kind of inept management is this for Walmart? Everyone should call Corporate & complain about stores that don't have staff to answer the phones, and you need to make aand you need to make an appointment. The customer service dept. doesn't answer phones either. Yet Walmart pays one person $25 million a year, the CEO, but with the billions of dollars Walmart rakes in annually they can't afford to have an employee to answer phones? This Poorly run company is about corporate greed, NOT service. Wish I could go lower than one star. Do NOT buy tires here. I bought 4 tires about 10 months ago. I got talked into the warranty. I went for a tire rotation and my car started pulling. Come to find out, 2 of the new tires are cupping and have to be replaced. Guess what? Not covered under warranty. My car has less than 50k miles. I have my tires rotated every oil change. They tried to blame me for not rotating the tires instead of admitting that their cheap tires don't hold up. I was disappointed from the beginning because the tires they sold me were tiny compared to what came on the car. I gave them the EXACT size and they showed me on the tire where it did, indeed, say the same size, same numbers, everything. Yet, somehow, they sure didn't look the same on the car. Horrible customer service too. No apologies and even with an appointment, you are there forever. The older guys turns people away left and right and is very rude about it. Even if you're desperate, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

I had an appointment to get 4 new tires at 9:00 AM. I sat in the waiting area for 3 hours (until noon). When I asked how long it would take the gentleman said an hour and a half because they double booked my time slot, and it ended up taking double that. Look. It's Walmart. It amazes me when people complain about the customer service because, again, IT'S WALMART. Curb your expectations. Yes, if you go to this auto center you will wait a long time. Yes, associates will wander around and appear to "ignore" you (most of the time, they're not - they're just understaffed and busy dealing with some other customer's needs). But if you remain patient and politely persistent, you will be served and they will return politeness with politeness. I've come to this Walmart auto center several times because you won't find cheaper service or tires anywhere, and each time I've had a good experience because I kept my expectations realistic. Once, I had an experience where I stood patiently behind a total Karen who was giving the staff a very hard time about the amount of time she'd been asked to wait. Lo and behold, they were not very flexible with her when she expected favors. But once it was my turn and I gave them a smile and spoke to them like they were actual human beings, I ended up getting a free tire out of the deal. So plan ahead to spend some extra time waiting, smile, and be nice. In return, you'll get the most cost efficient service and auto parts you could possibly find, and the staff will be pleasant. read more

Came to this location to get tires rotated. Waited waited waited for an employee to come and approach me. Since no one did. I went to them. And asked who can I talk to to get oil change. The elderly female employee said register inside. So I followed her in. Thinking she would help me. Nope.... waited near the counter facing two old female employees talking among themselves. Did not acknowledged me or say hi or even say , " I'll be with you in a moment." Again waiting. I finally left. I might as well be a ghost. Because to be honest as busy as that store is. If I could give them zero stars I would. I got there right when they opened and was only third in line. I waited 3 hours in line for an oil change and tire rotation just for them to tell me they couldn't do my oil change because my car was too new and they didn't have it in their book. They said they could still have the oil changed but I waited another hour and still, nothing had been done so I left to go somewhere else. Absolutely terrible customer service! Absolutely terrible, I brought in a tire to get a new one put on. They quoted me $46. After everything is done and I go to pay it's now $90. Tire was already on so I go to pay the women behind the counter she crumbles my money up and stuck it in her pocket. When asked what she was doing because I needed change she just looks at the guy beside her and goes "I think it's fake" are you kidding me. Terrible customer service and very shady. read more

Typical service do you expect to get from Walmart. Everything was done in the appropriate manner but they did not go above and beyond. I purchased some windshield wipers for them to install and they forgot to do it. And even when reminded that they had forgotten they still didn't do it. It seems as if they had one extra staff member that would help lighten their load and probably increase the service. read more

Don't waste your time here. Just go a mile down the road to Take 5 Oil Change where they are very friendly and hand you a bottled water while you have a short wait. I stood in line at Walmart for over 30 minutes while a young millennial with an "I don't give a crap" attitude took as long as he possibly could to check people out. As I was waiting an auto employee came inside to clock in for his shift. A store employee said "Oh good you're here," and he was like "Yeah I can do your oil change in just a few minutes." When it was finally my turn to talk to the guy at the register with the ace bandage on his hand he said his manager had told him that they couldn't do anymore oil changes today because they were short-handed. I said "I just heard your employee that clocked in a minute ago tell another employee he could do their oil change in a couple of minutes." He was like, "Well, my manager said no more oil changes today." Normally I would have asked to speak to the manager or argued with him but I was so irritated at that point I just wanted to take my business and money elsewhere! read more
