I don't even know how to start with this review. It seems like this may be the #1 revenue generating Walmart in all of the San Fernando Valley. With this being said, you would think that they would add more money to this place to make people feel human. The amount of people they have working here does not meet the amount of people who actually shop at this place. Why have all these registers, when you only open a few. The lines are so long it's ridiculous!! It's so frustrating that I myself felt getting a little ghetto and about to go off on management. The parking is so tight that you if you're walking towards the store you better be careful cause there's no place for you to walk. When I went to pay and I had an e-gift card they couldn't scan in it and instead of typing in the pin and card number manually they just tried to make me pay the full price without it. This particular store is a bit "ghettoish" and you will see a couple of interesting characters. This is the kind of Walmart where you will find merchandise on the floor and ice-cream containers melting away in the return bin. Horrible Customer Service in the returns Dept! We were turned away from returning an item an hour before the store was closing, then told we could return the item the next day. We went back the next day and were again turned away. They said they aren't returning apparel until a future date. Ridiculous! Give us our money back! The manager in that department was very rude to the African American gentleman in line in front of us who she said made comments regarding threatening her by saying he would run her over in the parking lot. I visit my local Walmart in Panorama City, my purchase was like $240, I decided to go to the register instead to checking out myself because I always have issues with the scanner. The register staff said that I have a lot! I started putting my things on the band to be scanned, I request some bags for purchase. I was expecting she will bag the merchandise like she did with the costumers before me, she was putting my merchandise on the side with the bags I requested, then I ask her if she will do it, then she responded that she has to scan everything fast so the others costumers don't have to be waiting to long! She said that in Ralph's every one bagging your stuff! I was in Walmart by the way. I thought will be easier for her scan and place the merchandise in the bag then passed to me, but she didn't. Obviously she wants me to do everything by myself. When I finished putting my things to be charged, I did pay, I did starting to bagging my things, I nicely ask her if we have to do this, her answer was yes! I ask her again then why she did with the others costumers and she didn't want to help me, she started helping. I visited others Wal-Mart, I had a nice experience, sadly, my local store is always with staff kind a rude, maybe they are tired, or they are having a bad day. I've called the store multiple times and I was told by a guy name Jose it will be ready by 6pm. 6pm come and no changes in my tracking. I called around 8am and the phone rang and rang and nobody answered it just disconnected me. I thought it was because it was busy, but when I got there, hardly anyone was inside of Walmart. I asked the woman in customer service why nobody answered the phone? She said someone is suppose to answer phones. I proceed to say, where are the air mattresses? She said second floor. Then he told me there are some more air mattresses in the corner of the sporting goods department. When I went to that department the air mattresses were locked up. I was hoping to see the man again, but he was already gone. I went to the electronics department and asked if she can get someone to please help me. she said ok and announced it over the intercom. I waited about 15 or 20 minutes nobody showed up. I went back to electronics and nobody was there. I went down the Isles to see if I could find an associate. I found someone cutting boxes down in the bedding department and told her can she help me in sporting goods getting something that's locked up and she continued to cut boxes. She said I don't have a key you have to go to electronics. Electronic associates have the key to sporting goods. I said I went to electronics and nobody there. She said yes she is, as she still cutting boxes. I said I wouldn't be over here if someone was in electronics. I said can you or you get someone to help me? She finally puts her boxes down and walk with me to electronics. We get close to the department and the lady point and says she's over there then walk away. I walk to the lady and say nobody ever came to help me. I then told her why you didn't tell me you had a key for sporting goods? She says because she's not suppose to leave her department. This place is -1 Star. Half the stuff I needed was locked up and you need to wait 2-7 min to find help. Then they won't hand you those items, they take those items to register #6 and you have to purchase it there. Once you get to register #6, there are over 10-20 people ahead of you because they all have an item/items there as well. Walmart had an item on their website that had a different price at the register. We brought it up to the lady at register (she was very nice) and she said she needs the manager's approval. It took the service manager (Gilbert) 8 minutes to come to the register to approve their own internet's price. He was extremely rude and argued with us why he can't honor it for that price. Any other experience service manager would've honored the internet's price because it's called customer service (specially when he sees we purchase close to $250 worth of Stuff). At the end he said do you want it for the store price or what and he walked away. When we asked if we can speak to his manger he turns around and says "I am the manager" and walked away again (his name tag said service manager and not store manager, but I guess everything is different at this subject Walmart). From other reviews I read, I know no one cares at Walmart's upper management, and that's why their employees act the way they do. If you can avoid this Walmart, please do and visit the one in Woodland Hills (if you really need to shop at Walmart) better customer service, much cleaner store and very friendly and helpful staff, or just go to Target. Honestly what isn't wrong with this store. I always tell myself... maybe this time it will be different.. yeah always wrong. Literally almost everything in the store is enclosed and when you need assistance I feel like I have to wait a whole decade for some help. Plus there are never any carts inside for some reason... now I know why. I understand it is hot outside at times and it may take a while but after seeing one of the working having his earphones in and just talking on the phone... that's when I saw this very unprofessional. To top it off I always come in with my dog as well as many other people who do to. I said no because why should I lie. She told me you are not allowed with a dog unless it is a service animal.. ummm I was outside for 20 minutes in this terrible heat and not only did I pass through one of the managers but I also passed through other workers and no one told me anything other than my dog is small. So when I explained to her that I literally have always brought my dog in she said well that was the failure of the people in the front but with my title of being a manger I am allowed to prohibit you and your dog of entering. The store is very disorganized and workers dont keep customers in check. I've seen people who are barely dressed to a mom spanking their preteen pants down in the middle of the aisles. So yeah. I know. It's weird to be writing a 5 star review about Wal-Mart of all places, but I was unable to fill out the store survey, so I wanted to show my appreciation of the customer service department at store #2568 specifically Dianne the manager & Rebecca in Store Support. So here's the backstory: I am currently working for a tech incubator. As in no one is getting a salary, we are working in one room of donated office space, & our budget consists of one $10,000 grant start-up. With our little grant we bought two really expensive computers via Walmart.com for $7200. If this seems head-scratchy, we too were like: "What? Wal-Mart carries these super high end computers that are sold out literally everywhere else?"But hey, they had them in stock in July so we bought the two that were available. Within a month, we started having problems with both machines. Alas, even though every other company that sells this machine gives a one year return policy, Wal-Mart's return policy is FIFTEEN DAYS. Our first machine died completely SEVENTEEN days after our purchase. We sent this computer to Wichita (to the Cybertron factory) for replacement. Sadly, the replacement computer has the same major issue: it shuts down without warning & corrupts data. Boo. Corrupted data is a double screw you because not only do you lose time with a broken machine, you also lose work that you had previously completed. This week, the second (not replaced) machine completely took a powder. When I called Cybertron for a REFUND because clearly they are using a bad component if three different computers are all breaking the same way, they told me that I would have to get that refund from Wal-Mart because we bought the machine from them. I called Wal-Mart.com & spent a good 2 hours on the phone. Finally Edibe at their call center was able to make headway. She said that I could take the broken computer to my local Wal-Mart store & they would NOT give me a refund, but they would give me store credit so we could use that money to buy a new, high end machine from another brand. (In the time that we'd been dealing with the broken computers, Wal-Mart has started carrying Alienware, a very respected brand). This seemed like a fair compromise. Wal-Mart will still get our money & we would get a working computer. So, you already know where this is headed. Today I went to my local store & low & behold they couldn't issue me store credit. Agnes & Gilberto patiently showed me their computer screens to prove that they were locked out of the ability to do any kind of refund. Well, luckily, Dianne the manager came on shift. She listened to my super-long story & took it upon herself to call Store Support & solve my problem. With help from Rebecca in Store Support she was able to give me A FULL REFUND to my boss's PayPal account (he was the one who had purchased the computers originally). Needless to say, I am so impressed that I drove back to my office & immediately had to type up this review as a thank you for Dianne's extra-special customer service. This situation was in no way Dianne's fault. Yet she made it her problem to solve. Dianne is my hero for the month. Me, my boss & everyone else at the company is completely thrilled by this resolution & very impressed with Dianne's professionalism & hard work. Please know that we will bring up this story & Dianne's ingenuity & work ethic any time Wal-Mart comes up in conversation. Dianne is a great ambassador for your store. Thank you! read more

I went to Walmart because I needed to pick up my order i purchased online. When you walk in there is a kiosk noting it's not available anymore only from 8am -8pm but ask an associate for help. So I said ok maybe the kiosk is closed and I have to go upstairs. I've picked up items before after 8 so this is another reason I didn't pay much attention to the kiosk or the email they sent. I arrive and get closer and there is a girl it's 8:03pm and tells me it's closed in the rudest attitude! She says that they're closed and looks at me like I am stupid. Ok how simple was it to give me a no sorry were closed or just a simple were closed. She didn't need to talk the way she did. Body language says a lot and words combine it. I recommend you go to any other Walmart in the valley this one is very dirty and disorganized and always has about 2 or 3 registers open at a time the parking lot is super crowded and very tight and also very dirty they seem to have a limited supply of anything you're looking for and not many employees to help you find what your looking for the customer service line is always very long ( maybe they should have at least 2 employees over there). Also when I called the electronics department to ask if they had something in stock they put me on hold and never came back to me then when I hung up and called back they never answered so I went into the store and employee told me that's usually what they do to get people just to come in.
