This particular TJ's is a smaller one and the biggest issue we had was the parking lot. Impossibly small and narrow, with limited spots that also were tight. We spent more time navigating the parking lot that inside the store which is an issue. Inside was fairly well stocked and the staff was the usual TJ upbeat and friendly. But oy vey was the parking lot a nightmare

My daughter wanted specific items for her lunch at work. This is the nearest branch from my work. So I stopped by after. Plenty of available parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside was busy but I was able to get the job done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went straight to the sections where the items are. Some of the items on my list were not there but I got most of it. There were people at the register but it went fast as there are 5 or 6 people manning it. That's what I like about Trader Joe's. They don't want to see a line to the register. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This store is one of those places that is very compact.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But when it comes to parking, they have plenty which is good!!! You can either enter/exit from Hazeltine or Riverside.

Came here for a few things like granola bars, dog treats, yogurts, and snacks. Claudia and team were very helpful and friendly. This is a great store with their new location opening soon across the street.

But don't worry, I could go pick them up at some random time tomorrow (I work an office job, that doesn't work for me) so instead of guessing when I might get groceries, I contacted customer service to help me cancel. I called the Seafood Department to place an order for some fried fish. I had called last Friday around 7:30 p.m. to order fish, but it was too late. Anyway, Adrian (sorry if I misspelled your name, sir) answered the phone and was very polite and courteous while taking my order. Now, this is a "you buy, we fry" service inside a grocery store, so I wasn't quite sure if I could call in an order. But after my last visit, where I placed an order and walked around the store while the fish was frying, I honestly didn't see why they wouldn't allow it. I originally wanted catfish fillets, but they were out. Adrian offered catfish nuggets as a substitute, but I passed. I then asked for red snapper or rockfish, but they had neither. I moved on to cod, but at $19.99 a pound, I said, "Not today." Finally, he told me they had tilapia for $10.99 a pound, so I ordered two pounds. He asked what seasoning I wanted, and I told him I wanted to try all three -- Cajun, lemon pepper, and one other that I can't remember. He told me it would be ready in 12 minutes, and when I arrived 12 minutes later, it was ready! It was fresh, hot, and delicious. I could hardly wait to get back home and eat it all lol. I will definitely be back next weekend. Thanks again, Adrian. :-)

Parking is super easy and convenient. You just drive up the ramp, go through the gate (it opens automatically), and there's no ticket needed. You even get one hour free, which is a huge plus. There's plenty of parking both underground and at street level in the Citrus Commons complex. I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's in general and shop here every week. What makes this store special is the selection -- you can find so many unique products that you won't see in other grocery chains, including a lot of European-style foods. Some of our favorites are eggplant spread, sauerkraut, frozen sweet cheese pancakes (blinchiki), pork dumplings, and many other great items. Prices are reasonable (around average), especially considering the quality and uniqueness of the products. The staff here is incredibly friendly -- honestly, one of the nicest teams I've seen in any grocery store. The atmosphere is always welcoming, clean, and easy to navigate. Another great bonus: there are actually two Trader Joe's stores right across the street from each other on Riverside Drive. This newer location is bigger, brighter, and has even more variety. And if one store is out of something, you can simply check the other -- so convenient! Highly recommend this location -- we're lucky to have it here in Sherman Oaks!

The prices are more than a bit over-the-top (ugly). Whoever designed this store deserves a smack-down. The aisles are so small you have to shimmy past people. And if you are shopping with a cart, good luck to you. Legit the most baffling design choices I've ever seen. This is an example of design that actually effects the shopping experience in a BAD WAY. Total head scratcher. Whoever designed the parking lot for the entire complex is an absolute idiot. If you need to get your cart to your car, there are several issues depending on what area you park in. First up, upon exiting the store there is a curb with no visible ramp so you have to cart-jump the curb to get down to the street level to your car. Then there is a raised planter between parking and the store so that if you are on the other side of it, you have to cart-jump the curb again. Seriously? Total failure in design on both the store and the parking. But hey - 90 minutes free parking so that's a plus. $16 for a smoothie is a little excessive for sure. Was it good? Yes. That said, while I'm happy to pay more for a great selection of organic fruits and veggies, the smoothies aren't that different from one I could make at home or get somewhere else of the same quality but for less. So if you are on a budget or just resent paying $16 for a smoothie on principal, I suggest focusing on your favorite, good stuff at Erewhon which for me is the fruits / vegetables and their outstanding selection of health / beauty products and their prepared food. from the beauty section, I got something called EVERYTHNG OIL based on the recommendation of one of the staff and it is a GREAT product -- truly my skin is transformed -- well worth the $. I also discovered a yoghurt there that I love -- Painterland Sisters -- but I now buy it at Sprouts as it is cheaper there. The prepared food selection is great! Vegan dessert selection - hallelujah! And I'm a big fan of all their vegan options actually - great stuff. I like that they give you a credit for every glass bottle you bring back -- not a small one either. $2 for each bottle! That brings down the cost of those fresh juices I love so I'll take it!! :) So spend some time finding your favorite stuff - this is a place to pick up a couple of things -- not do ALL your grocery shopping. First of all, you don't want a cart in this place -- too hard to navigate. But also, a full shop at Erewhon is 3 times what any other store would cost. But they do have some very excellent products so worth it for those things IMHO but not for EVERYTHING. Also, try to choose a time to go when it's not packed. the store is claustrophobic when full.
