The lines can get a bit long at certain times and the bathrooms could use a bit of update. but the staff is always friendly and helpful. The only downside lately is that they don't open the dressing rooms during week days because of theft and not enough staff.. That is a real problem when needing to try on clothes.

See attached promo. I arrived at this location at 8:45 AM. I noticed there were some construction happening. The guy at the door said that they don't open until 9:30 AM. I told him I was here for the VIP 8:30 AM event. He had no idea. He had to bring the manager to talk to me. She apologized and said that they're renovating and closed. Poor management for having construction during a VIP event. I was really upset because I got up early to shop to beat the hot weather. I noticed a few other customers showed up as well. The store didn't have any sign saying that they're doing construction during their VIP event. Shame on management. They need to read their emails from their corporate office.

As with any clothing store you have to really look for a good piece but I'd say for me it's a hit or miss if you're trying to look decent. I'd say it's great for casual dress. Sometimes I come across awesome deals at this location. It doesn't have as much variety as the one in Concord or Pleasant Hill.

There's two Mexican restaurants, a Subway, Burger King, and a Round Table. It's a fairly good place for the surrounding neighborhoods. I HATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEE coming to this Ghetto-Hood-Mart. But, I can walk there and pick up a case of blue moon without getting ripped at the am pm or the arab/indian brothas store in the area. That said, I can often read between the lines of a person's character when they disguise being a racist when using the term ghetto, but that is not ya cultureman. See. I am Cultureman a son of Adam and Eve. Thus, even with many different blood types, and different beautiful cultures, we are one race. So what do I mean by ghetto? Parents cussing out their kids for touching things, or cussing in front of them. Folks walking around in PJs at 230 in the afternoon. The whole family of 12 standing in line, when only one person is purchasing something. 700 pound folks walkin round with 9 inch heels limping, squeezing a 44 inch waist into a size 33, knowing dam well that shopping cart shouldn't have two cases of soda and all them doritos man! Wheew. I love women! All shapes, sizes, and colors....but dam! Where's the Walmart security? With all of the opened beer cans and opened food items stuffed in isles, foos can come there, and have a beer with a sandwich in the TV section, then burp pass the 80 year old recipt checking pops at the exit talkin bout "have a nice day" Ok. Here's my gripe, as well as learning how much human's have lost the ability to support each other emototionally, spiritually etc. So sad. Here's the deal. I race to the garden section to checkout. Aka, the short cut. WRONG! Line full of folks with the same idea. So. I'm standing behind a 30 something attractive lady holding a half gutter rat, half alley cat looking dog with about 130 items in her cart. I swear the dog was about a pound in a half. Yeyeee. She made it to the check out, but at the same time, a lady with a guide dog enters. Gutter rat begins barking at guide dog. Guide dog is like "whatever foo" and didn't make a sound. The checkout dude said mam, there are no dogs allowed in the store unless they are a service animal. She said "oh, he's an emotional support dog. He asked her to explain. She went on about how people with certain emotional needs have animals that could be considered service animals, and that she even flies with her dog for emotional support. The checkout dude said that he'd never heard of that, and to make sure she had state licensed documentation to show in case someone stops her. Now yelpers. Don't throw anything at me or be pissed. But that's a dam shame how we lost our connection to each other as human kin. So much so, that folks can reach new lows thinking that they have to replace human emotional support for that of a dog, or animal. Emotional support? So now I can get on a plane with my parrots Paco and Tuco on my shoulders holding my goldfish in a small container, all 6 foot 3 245 pounds of me then sitting down, and responding to those staring at me talkin bout "oh, these are my emotional support friends. I had a dog for a looooong time, and I'm not knocking folks with pets. I rescued Aswad (dog) at the brink, and still wish I came across the bastard who almost killed him. He's gone now and wont be replaced. All and all. We need to reconnect with each other or soon, at the rate things are going, folks will turn to getting legislation to marry their dogs, cats, and chipmunks. read more

dam this walmart is hella ghetto people. Its one of those things if you live out here in pittsburg though. I can never go here without getting bothered or harassed either.. and im a straight black man. Its either "Yo homie buy my cd", or "Sir my school needs this or that." I cant imagine what women go through going to this dirty ass walmart. So once you've worked up enough courage to finally come to this store, you have to worry about the dumb ass non helpful employees here. Customer service at this walmart is dead. Shit not even the greeters greet you. I never take my kids or my girl (rarely) to this walmart. Its always something. Location Location Location. Its too much drama just to go shopping. I just had the most appalling customer service experience of my life at this walmart. I've lived in Pitt most of my life so I know what to expect when I walk thru those doors but tonight takes the cake. As I'm walking to the pet department I pass by cosmetics which now has it's own register (of course due to theft) and I see the clerk LADONNA, an older woman, eating out of a can of fruit not even using utensils as she's ringing up a long line of customers. I am so disgusted by this not going to lie I was staring and this woman has the audacity to say "Boo B*tch" to me as I'm walking by. I was in absolute shock she would talk that way to a customer in front of line full of people. Ladonna should be fired. Why does walmart seem to hire the trashiest people around? Ghetto, rude, and attitude from hell. The parking lot alone makes you feel lucky if you don't get stabbed. Then once inside the workers act like customers are bothering them. When tellers "greet" you they don't even look at you. Some of the tellers are clearly racist to white customers. Target is so much better. This is one of those examples of a lack of leadership and concern from the manager. That is usually the case when these issues are so systemic. What they need to do is give shift preferences based upon positive surveys. Maybe then these workers will better appreciate who really pays their salaries. Earlier this year Walmart had to close hundreds of stores and they recently cut thousands of jobs. The BZ's that work here better recognize. read more

There is this guy that works in the T.L.E. department and he bothers the shit out of all of us! He flirts with all the female customers that come in, he says comments that are very inappropriate, and he has even been caught giving more than one female his phone number while on the job. Shopping in store is impossible. Merchandise is locked in cases that employees refuse to open. There are a bunch of employees around but none of them can, or will help you even when you ask. I waited 15 minutes to try and buy a $5 glue. I asked an employee for help. Nobody ever came. I left and I won't go back. This area is also very sketchy and unsafe with a bunch of vagrants and shady people in the shopping center. There is no reason to go here unless you desperately need something and you have no other way to shop somewhere else. read more

I hate this location. FULL of low income customers and the most ghetto looking characters. I don't trust leaving my car in the parking lot, to say the least. It's open pretty late and just walking from the car to the store (or vice versa) gives you a weird gut feeling like you're about to be mugged.. Not to mention its a never ending battle to even find a spot. I only come here because the redbox is INSIDE the store (as opposed to being outside a 711.) Then had them recruit all of their dumb families and friends to shop there. I think some people get paid to literally just stand there with a Walmart vest on. Everytime I go to this walmart location, I am greeted by homeless druggies that want money to shoot up more drugs. The store is always full of unorganized merchandise and the return line is soo f***** long. When I get to the lady to return a one hundred dollar radio that does not work in my truck, she says I cannot return it because I opened it already. When the manager, Cynthia, arrived, instead of helping me resolve the issue, she looked me directly in the eye and stated that I was not missing the item because she had been told I ate it in the produce section. This accusation made absolutely no sense, considering the item in question was located near the checkout registers, not in the produce department. I was shocked, embarrassed, and deeply offended by the way I was treated. I explained that I had not eaten the item and suggested that she review the security cameras to verify what had happened. Rather than investigating or attempting to help, Cynthia smirked, walked away, and left the issue unresolved. I've never experienced such poor customer service. Being falsely accused of something and then dismissed without any effort to investigate the situation is unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, not embarrassment and accusations. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this store, and I will be sharing my experience with others. Management's lack of professionalism, particularly from Cynthia, was extremely disappointing. A simple review of the cameras could have resolved the situation, but instead I was treated as though I was dishonest without any evidence. I expected much better customer service and respect from a store I have regularly supported.
