I took my car here once and has a pleasant experience so I CONVINCED my wife to take our Takoma here for a simple oil & filter change. reluctantly she did it and OH BOY am I sorry!! She got the oil & filter changed on Friday night and come Saturday we had an oily mess in our driveway. So far my neighbor just thinks they were super sloppy with the oil and the oil filter but as I write this review my truck is running because we think is is leaking. Our truck had been under warrant until a few months ago and has zero problems until now. It is less than 3 years old so if there are any issues with the oil tank, lines, seals etc... It is because of the crappy sloppy work from the lazy employees at Walmart car services. If you value your vehicle take it somewhere else!!! read more

My friends and I stopped here to buy some ice and pick up some beer and wine for a fishing trip on our way to Big Bear. We got in just after opening, around 6am. When we went to the check out aisle the cashier asked to see all of our IDs. I've never heard of this policy since I dont shop at Walmart, ever. We were told that everyone in the group had to show ID. I wasn't pleased me for my ID emand was also upset that I has to show ID. Basically, you can find almost anything in there. Prices are pretty good if you are on budget. The staff's helpfulness was ok. They do direct you to where you need to go if you are in search of something particular. However the line is pretty long at the returns most of the time. Specifically the tire and lube department.. they have ZERO customer service skills...or they just don't care.. especially the tech by the name of Keith... he has a piss poor attitude. I came in for the $20 oil change... I've done the exact same $20 oil change at other Walmart's...but while I'm waiting they tell me the oil filter will be more money which makes no sense... then they tell me that they don't have it in stock and they have to "pull" it from the store which costs more.. total bait and switch.. This location is HORRENDOUS I had the most HORRIBLE experience today I was trying to return a item that was incorrectly labeled literally mislabeled size on the clothing. (Sticker and Tag) all I wanted to do was exchange a pair of pants for the correct size I initially thought I HAD purchased! I was greeted by the most rude individuals who told me there was nothing they could do for me because of something with the inventory? Nothing they could do for me and laughed in my face. First on back Friday I purchase a t.v from another Walmart, they wouldn't let me return it here and I asked why because I would have to go back to the store I purchased from. The cashier said today when charge our return policy and I thought it was B.S. So I'm giving this place a 2nd chance, I came in and Cora was my cashier, I let her know I bought tire chains in Utah and would like to return it. Cora than says when don't accept returns for tire chain and I ask if I can speak to a manager. So Kenny comes out, her tells me since I purchase it 30 miles away I can't return it at this store, more B.S and I guess all stores are ran different. But Kenny did help me, by telling me to contact the makers and return it to them. F**k**g jack. Avoid this place but retards. I always shop here, but recently Walmart.com has been posting different prices stating "In Store Only" and yet the manager here refused to give me the "In Store Only" price and wanted to charge the FULL price, even though the Items were "Clearance." I noticed the Fontana store is doing the same thing! WTH!? The checker tried to tell me I had to order the items on the website to get that price...Hello?! It states "IN STORE ONLY and if you attempt to order the items online, you pay a higher price." 1230 pm today!! Apparently you get priority service when you're white. Waited about 15-20 minutes at the sporting goods Dept for help. After asking someone to call someone for help nobody showed up, so I went to the front. They call Lupita and she takes forever to go to the back to help us. When she finally makes her way to the back, she walks right passed us to the white people that just walked up and proceeds to help them. Now, I asked 2 different people for help and pressed the service button at least 20 times this woman walks right passed us though to help the white guys that just walked up. Then I told her in a pleasant way (I'm not a rude person) we were here way before them, she gets an attitude and says "I'm just gonna grab this for them and I'll be there to help you." Make sure you have all your items. I was charged for a shirt, but the item was not in the bag. I called and was on hold for over 10 minutes. After the third time talking to the phone operator, I talked to someone in Customer Service. I was told if (yes if) the cashier logged my shirt in "the book" I could get a refund. I told her I needed that shirt and it was the last one. I asked her to please hold the shirt for me at Customer Service (mind you I PAID for the shirt). She refused to help me. I waited 30 min for someone to get my spray paint out of the locked cabinets. I asked one of the ladies if she could help and she said she would get someone no one ever showed up. I asked another employee and he said only certain people hold the keys witch is understandable he suggested I asked the manager there were 2 walking by I can tell by their face expressions they didn't want to be bothered .I asked and they didn't even stop to listen i had to follow them as I was asking them the question. One of them asked if I had rang the bell for service I told him yes I had been waiting for over 20 min for one of them to point out the guy with the keys telling me he's busy with someone else which is fine. I don't understand why the manager couldn't help .As a manager I believe you should have access to everything including the keys. If I could I would give a zero for the lack of customer service (Kenny, Manager). We were trying to return an android cord, without a receipt, we have never in the twenty years I have shopped at this store have I ever needed a receipt. They told me it was posted at all registers, however I was never ever verbally notified of the policy change. I talked to a floor associate and she said they should have said of the change at the register. Second issue was with the Pharmacy. They cancelled my wife's order, refused to call the Doctor when there was an issue with the prescription, and lastly cancelled the prescription, so we had to go back to the Doctor and get a new one This Walmart has gone way down over the year. I get transferred to the food department wait on hold for 10mins no one picks up. Hang up call back they transfer me again and I wait an additional 5mins. Hang up call again let the person know who keeps transferring me nobody is picking up can you page them or send someone else . She transfers me again and I wait again. Hang up call back and ask to speak to the manager. She asks me sure but how come I told her take a wild guess and she says okay one moment and I'm on hold AGAIN! Walmart needs to get it together. I took my truck in to get an oil change on March 03, 2018 at 10:16 am. It took them 2 hours to service my vehicle. When I arrived there were no cars in the bays and I was 1st in line. I asked them to have my windshield wiper blades changed. They changed one when I requested both to be changed. My receipt says all fluids checked...but my windshield wiper fluid was empty when I arrived and it was empty when I left. So what else did they not do on my truck but stated they did do?? I know that this is a big corporation and they will never go bankrupt, but if I can convince one more person to not shop here, then my deed is done. On 1/5/19 I bought tire chains for a potential trip I had planned. I specifically asked the associate Shelley if the chains were returnable if unopened. She said they were returnable as long as the "zip tie" was still on. Forward to today 1/16/19 not only am I given the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE by the CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER but they inform me that the chains are non-returnable due to liability? How would they tell me this when a WALMART employee told me they were refundable if unopened? This is completely unethical. Being an Operations Manager myself, if I tell a client/guest about a policy, I am going to honor it, even if I have to go above heads, I would keep my word. Apparently store manager Raymond couldn't understand this. All he could say is, "I will reprimand that employee but, I still can't take the return. We even have signs up about it." I would get it if the box of tire chains was open, that's completely understandable, but in my case the box was completely sealed. What Raymond doesn't know is that the signs were barely posted. They weren't there when I purchased the chains, I even had the auto center employee confirm that, stating they just had a change in manager and they were barely posted. If I were in Raymond's spot, I would do whatever I could to keep a guest happy, that's customer service above and beyond. I get it though, it's a big store and sometimes policies aren't relayed to all associates. However, what are Walmart guests going to gain out of Walmart employees being reprimanded? How is reprimanding Shelley going to help my situation? Unfortunately, Walmart has lost my business and the business of my family and friends. This is an update to my last post about the Walmart on foothill blvd in Rancho cucamonga . I called the corporate line to file a complaint against LUPITA and that location.. and the representative that assisted me say she would 1st try and contact the location.. because to return policy that was stated to me was not WALMART'S policy.. Walmart can do returns with out a receipt the process to do so is to check your ID 1st to make sure you are not a habitual returner. Then they will process the return for a store credit!! When the corporate representative explained that to me.. i was even more annoyed that the store manager refused to help me!! The phone representatives said she would contact the store to have a higher manager help assist me with my return. The representative qas shuffled from department to department for 30min. Before LUPITA answered the phone.. when she realized it was the same manager that tried to contact the police on a pregnant woman she disconnected the call and said she would escalate this to a different department... It seems to me that the regional manager or district manager put this no receipt rule in place in order to help lower his location shrink numbers or return numbers.. but that does not help the customers!! That only helps their numbers look good so that they may advance in the company!!! As a result they have a manager by the name of LUPITA that actually threatened an 8 1/2 month pregnant woman with being removed from the location with the police!!!.. And my unborn baby still does not have a working swing rocker!! So i will now be force to keep a damaged product and purchase a new product in order for my baby to have a swing, all because that location wants there "numbers to look good" read more

I was camping in Lytle Creek and forgot a few things I needed. I only needed a few items and I was impressed that they store was easy to get around. I was quickly able to find everything on my list in minutes and only needed help with one price. I asked a lady in sporting goods for a price on a ice chest and when she went to scan it the price wouldn't show up. They tag was messed up and I didn't have time to wait around for them to figure it out. I was able to get a nice simple ice chest for soda and beer for only 14 dollars. It is bright green but it is big enough to hold a few 12 packs. I would go here again but I'm not a normal Walmart shopper. The location was easy to get to and parking wasn't that bad. It was much better than the other Walmart stores I have been to. read more

I was robbed by an employee there while shopping. She stole my wallet, took my cash and saw me in the front of the store and tapped me on the shoulder to say she found my wallet in the restroom and just turned it in to the customer service desk. Once the Loss Prevention team rolled the videos, they saw her and she was arrested. I did not even get acknowledged by the management at this store. I called them three days later and was told by the assistant manager that I would hear back from them. Nothing. They did not offer a gift card for the cash that was stolen from my wallet. Sooooooo upset and will NEVER shop at an Walmart again! I have told my sisters and friends and they have now decided that Target is our preferred place of shopping. The police officer that day said that they had already been out there twice that day. It is a shame they do not pay their workers enough that they have to steal from their customers!!! DO NOT GET AN OIL CHANGE HERE!!!!! RIP OFF ALERT!!! I have been getting my oil changed here because I get synthetic in my car and I wanted to save a couple bucks and they are the cheapest around, but there's a reason why... TWICE now I've caught them putting regular oil in my car after I had paid the extra $20 for the synthetic and when you catch them on it they will lie their way out! I know when you pay for synthetic they pour the oil from the bottle. The first time I caught them it was when I came back into the garage after strolling around and my car was being worked on. I noticed the mechanic filling my car with oil from the hose that drops down from the ceiling. When I asked him what kind of oil it was he said it was regular dino oil. I told him that I had paid for synthetic to which he quickly responded "No you didn't".... What??? I showed him my receipt and then he gave me some stupid spiel about how most cars they do use the regular oil so he just assumed it was the right oil... I should have learned. The second time was when my wife took my car in for me to get the oil changed. I told her to get synthetic which she did and paid for. I had gone over my mileage on my oil change so he told her that with synthetic I should come in for an oil change every 7k miles... fine.... When she came and picked up the car she noticed that they hadn't placed the little sticker on my windshield telling me when my next oil change was due so she went back and asked for it. The guy wrote the mileage down and gave it to her and she noticed that he only added 3k miles to my current mileage. When she told him no he should add 7k miles to it because it was synthetic oil he told her that he was the one who worked on the car and he didn't put synthetic in it... I WILL NEVER GET MY OIL CHANGED FROM HERE AGAIN. RIP OFF!!!!! read more
