Shout out to Gabriel in Automotive who helped me at the Hardware Isle, waiting for more than 30 minutes to get an associate in hardware open the locked glass case for a drill bit that turned out to be out of stock! I pressed the call button many times, two people passed by saying someone will be coming to help, they don't have the key, I called the phone line for customer service, I asked Gabriel for help who doesn't have a key either and called the PA system for hardware associate help. Finally I asked that same lady who passed by and the lady asked one male associate in the sports section station nearby if he has the key and he said he does and she then said to help the customer (me) but he didn't go immediately, I went to see Gabriel who took action and approached the male associate to get the key. Anyway, thank you Gabriel for saving the day!!! Five stars to Gabriel but one star to the store and that associate who I don't want to get the name for I don't want him to get in trouble. Wow i was going to purchase a ps4 so I walked up to a girl with blonde hair on top and black under and said excuse me she said yes I said I would... and she cut me off and said someone else will be here. How do you know what I was going to say? So rude! Awful customer service at the photo and Wal-Mart.com pick up area in back. Consistently. Don't honor online prices. Ordered 2 sets of tiki torches stands online, selected free ship to store, was ready same day. Came to pickup and given only 2 stands (1 set). When asked about the other set they stated that they don't honor that and only wanted to give me one set for same price (therefore even more than in-store price). Finally wanted me too sign that I had received the purchased items. How insulting, finally got my money back. No wonder they are struggling against Amazon. Went to exchange a motorcycle battery because it didn't hold charge and was told by an employee i couldn't do that so he brought the automotive manager (Gabriel) who told me he couldn't do nothing for me. This happened 2x already there batteries are garbage but i was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Was told by Gabriel that it was my fault that there batteries didn't work. Although, it isn't a 5 star rating, my feel of walking in a store such as Walmart "Redlands Blvd" was a lot to take in at first. I was extremely overwhelmed in finding something I had needed for my porch, then as I approached the toilet paper aisle, I had noticed a worker by the name of "Braydon" relevant to my nephews name, I approached him, and asked for his assistance. He then dropped everything he was doing, to help me find what I needed. By his aspects I could tell he was very new, and eventually told me this was his first week at Walmart, pretty helpful for a kid that was just starting there, because he never left until I was satisfied with the thing I was searching for, and at times where he suggested better options. If you go to this Walmart I highly recommend you find "Braydon". read more

I bought a set of Halloween lights in October and when I plugged them in to use them on Halloween only half of them worked. I tried to return them after Halloween and they said they could only give me 25% what I paid for them store credit. Such a ripoff, their policy says return with or without a receipt within 90 days but then they switch it up when you get there. I told them to keep that store credit and I went to Target instead. My fault for shopping at Walmart in the first place I guess. read more

I'm finding some grocery prices cheaper elsewhere, and they seem unable to consistently keep some things in stock, like Clorox Splashless bleach. I'll go every couple of days or so and check, and nada, nada, nada. I hate when grocery stores fill in empty spots with other products, but frankly, in some sections of this store, there's not enough other product to fill in with. I think they've had these products in stock long enough to know what the purchase history is. If they mischarge you on something and you notice before you leave the checkstand, you're instructed to go stand in the customer service line anyway to get it taken care of. I really wish they'd get rid of the center aisle displays. If you get stuck behind a slow person on both sides of the display (maybe someone in an electric cart), you're really stuck. read more

If you don't mind running this gantlet, you can find a wide selection of made-in-China, ready-to-fail household goods, cheap clothing and junk food designed to appeal to the folks who park truck bodies and spare refrigerators in the front yard. Oddly, though they're dirt cheap when it comes to Levi knockoffs and pork cracklins, they're actually more expensive when it comes to non-essentials like garden supplies, pet supplies and DVDs, music, etc. read more

On September 21, 2017, I went to have an oil change for my vehicle at this Walmart in Redlands. After taking the information needed, they took the vehicle in. After a few minutes, one of the associates working on the vehicle approached me and said said that they could not continue with the oil change because the screw to drain the oil is stuck and might strip the screw. He said that I should take my vehicle back to the place where I did my oil change last and complain because they are liable for the stuck screw. I took my vehicle to a local mechanic for the oil change without telling them about my problem at Walmart. They were able to unscrew the drain for the oil WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM and completed the oil change. The next day I call this Walmart and asked to speak with the auto department manager. I was connected with Tommy who claims that he is one of the managers during my call. I told him about what happened yesterday and about taking my vehicle to another mechanic. His reply was that the associates working at oil change are NOT mechanics. So if these associates find a situation where they can damage your vehicle, they can stop and discontinue the service. So with this experience I now know that Walmart does not have TRAINED MECHANICS working at their auto department, they are just associates. Beware of taking your vehicle there, because they are just MECHANIC WANNABES. If there is a choice for a zero star for this review, I would rate their services a zero. read more

After sifting through the empty shelves for vitamins and household items (you know, the stuff they regularly stock) i finally find a few things i need and proceed to the garden Area to pay and there are 2 lines. Of course picking the shortest always backfires, but the other lane was closed. That lane stayed closed until the last person got up there to pay and a new girl signed on. She proceeded to take everyone behind us (mind you we were finally next in line after waiting a half hour already) then the cashier had an issue with a gift card. We waited a good 10 minutes for his CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER to show up and help him. All the while the other cashier is still taking everybody else. Soooooo i thought he could kill some time and reload my basket after i walked out. Being in customer service myself for many years, where has the courtesy gone? Is everyone really this dumb? ! I had several horrible experiences with the tire center. The store is outdated and chaotic. In short, it is hell.

Went to the Redlands Walmart with my wife to buy some groceries and a fishing license at about 10:40 am. She went to do the shopping and I went to the sporting goods department. I looked up and down the aisles in the sporting good section and could not find anyone to assist me. I waited at the check-stand hoping someone would notice and come to assist. After 15 minutes I still could not see anyone to help. I called the store on my cell phone and asked that they send someone to sporting goods to help me. About one minute later, I hear the girl I spoke to make an announcement for "assistance needed in hardware". I called back again and reminded her I was in sporting goods. She did make a correct announcement, but it didn't do any good. My wife had completed all her shopping and went off to find some help. After waiting almost 10 minutes, my wife come back and said she had spoken to the manager. About 2 minutes later a woman showed up and told us she had just come to work. (it was now 11:10) As we completed the transaction a male associate came up and said he was out to lunch and that someone was supposed to be covering. Five days later we returned to WalMart to look at the Fit bit that was advertised in the Sunday Walmart advertisement. We went to the electronics department where i found the associate talking with a friend about being stopped on his motorcycle. They were very engrossed in the conversation and I could not get his attention. We went off on our own to find the item. As we were looking, another associate walked by and we asked him for help. He showed us the area where it should be located, but we did not see the model we were looking for. We asked him if they carried that item and he said "nope, this is all we have". When I told him it was in the local add, he just shrugged his shoulders and said, maybe they would have it at a Walmart super center and then walked away. read more

I went to Walmart in Redlands tonight and bought beer. They id me and my boyfriend(which is 30 and doesn't currently have a id that isn't expired) they had to card both of us and he didn't touch the beer! I carried it and bought it. Walmart employee said "If your with someone we have to card them too" What if parents had their kids with them and wanted to buy some alcohol?? It's been a long time since I've shopped the Redlands store due to it being very dirty, unorganized, out of stock, and low customer service. But this week I went and had a completely different experience. I don't know what happened, but it has improved so much! One of the most wonderful shopping experience I've received at a Wal-Mart. Was greeted very kindly at the door, customer service was friendly and beyond helpful in finding me what I was looking for. The lines went by quick and the store is very clean and organized. I try not to come here if at all possible. I only come to trade out my propane. Because there is only one cashier and a long line I'm having to wait for "customer service". It's been 20 min and still waiting. Can't blame the cashier but really they need to work on staffing. There are other places that open lines if there are 3 or more. The worst place on Earth. This Walmart is the worst Walmart at which I've ever had the unfortunate luck to have to shop. I'll allow a moment for that to truly sink in. The. Worst. Walmart. The worst... of the worst. The people that shop here are absolutely atrocious. Disgusting, rude, oblivious, cretins that shuffle about the store, their tattered t-shirts soaked through with slobber, freely flowing from their gaping maws. The employees are a small step above that, at best. Each menial task requires intense focus to accomplish, should they even bother actually attempting something beyond aimless meandering about the store. I was here a few weeks ago and the line in which I stood was stationary for seven minutes. Seven long minutes, standing in one place, in a Walmart. There is a hell, and it's in Walmart. The cause? Apparently one of the lackeys was sent to scour the aisles for one specific item because the brilliant shopper two positions ahead of me in the queue decided to grab an item with no identifying information (bar code, tag, whatever) to purchase. And it seems the effort to notify the line of the wait was far too much to ask of the behemoth stationed behind the register, whose breath was labored from the ever strenuous activity of moving her massive arms across the electric eye. But worse, half of the wait was for the aforementioned lackey to initially even make her way to the lane to find out the cause of the distress light. So we all stood in place, staring at each other stupidly, no one possessing any more insight than the other as to what the fuck was going on. I did have the foresight to order an item online once. A $5 umbrella. Unfortunately Walmart has not instituted curb side delivery otherwise I would never set foot in the store, but I digress. This is the one thing they get right... item pick up is right at the front of the store. Oh, wait, no it's not! You have to trudge all of the way to the rear of this enormous house of horrors to retrieve the item which you already purchased. And after showing my photo ID (which was studied FAR too long for a $5 umbrella) and a wait the length of a small eternity (however long this ended up being it was certainly an unacceptable amount of time for a f*cking umbrella) I escaped with my spoils in hand. Upon arriving at home I immediately threw myself under scalding hot water in an attempt to cleanse myself of the sin of shopping here... to no avail. read more

Walmart is just full of nonsense. I went there to get some ammonia. There was none on the shelf, so I went and found a manage Kate or Kathleen . She the call on her radio "do we carry ammonia"? Huh? I said there is none on the shelf. So she then calls out to a Terry he's supposed to be stocking that department. Another employee said he is working on a pallet. I then ask can someone go in your stock room? She then said on her radio can someone call Terry? So a page goes out to Terry. Then the manager ask another emplyee do we carry ammonia. She said well if we do its in chemicals. I said I know where it should be but there is none on the shelf. Manager K looks at me and said I'm Terry is the person for that department. Finally Old Terry show up and she asked him could he see if there any ammonia on the pallet he is working on? He said well that would take me a hour or more. They got me working the freezer department. At that moment there were so many holes in your chemical department. And the person that suppose to work on that department is working another department? Awful customer service. My mom and I went there to get fabric and no one was a the counter to help. And I understand they won't be there at all times because is not as busy as other areas. I asked one staff member for help; she said that she was going to send someone. 20 minutes pass and I ask a different staff member for help and again he told me the exact same thing. Another 20 go by and we decide to leave and about 15 mins later we were back and still there was no one there still. So I asked this lady for help and I told her my situation and she answered VERY sarcastically "oooh I'm SO sorry" and she didn't even knew how to use the scan thingy, so she took other 10 mins. Overall this Walmart has awful customer service, staff members just walking around the store with nothing on their hands or just talking with each other. The store is also messy, just go to other supermarket if you need something. read more

Store is definitely lacking in Electronics and produce. It's basically a huge CVS store. I've always had to wait an hour to get someone on the Photo printing area. Hard to get in touch with a staff since they are severely understaffed. The restrooms are nice. The water fountain is very clean and cold. My main complaint here is that whenever I find something on the website which specifically says it is available "free to pick up today" on this specific store, the employees don't even make the effort to check and will just say that they don't have it. read more

Walmart Customer Service Continues to be Appalling. My wife needed something in the cosmetic case, but of course it was locked. She hit the service requested button, but after 5 minutes nobody came. She hit it again to no avail. She also asked 3 associated that were walking by for assistance and all they said was they would get someone. She waited 5 more minutes and then called the store or her phone and asked for assistance. You guessed it - nobody came. I went to a register and asked them to get someone - nobody came. After 15 minutes I stopped an associate and asked for assistance and she stated "we can't find the person with the key" WTF - two issues - they don't know where their employee is and they only have one key?? After 22 minutes of waiting someone finally came to my wife and told her they couldn't help because they couldn't find the key. A complete and total lack of proper management. read more

Don't get your tires here. I was visiting from San Diego and had a flat tire. After standing in 110 degree sun and being ignored for 15 mins I finally got the attention of a tire service person. We determined I needed two new tires and since I was in a hurry to get to a business appointment, I was very specific about having them call me as soon as the car was ready. They said two tire should take no more than an hour and a half. I was also driving a long distance back to San Diego and needed washer fluid which they agreed to fill for me. I return after 2 hours wanting to know what was taking so long, only to be told the car had been ready for a while. Then I find out they only put one new tire on the front and not two as they had quoted. I go to get in my car, toe nails freshly painted and the service guy steps on my foot with his dirty greasy boot, screws up my pedicure, he could have cared less about the fact that they only put one tire on my car instead of two, failed to call me and forgot to put fluid in the washers. These tire people need an intense class on quality control and customer service or better yet perhaps they should be replaced with people who really want to work and need a job. read more
