Customer service is non existent, can't communicate with the staff members if you can find one! It's unbelievable that a major corporation can allow this to continue. I approached several staff members to assist me to investigate if the item I was looking to purchase was in stock in the back store room. They looked at me if I was speaking a foreign language, English is still the language of choice isn't it ? I ended up frustrated and decided to leave. This is not the first time that I encountered a language problem. I know what you're thinking " why didn't you ask for a manager". well this past January I had to wait 35 minutes for someone to find a manager and when they did I had to help them fill out the form to my dismay ! The manager said someone from the Corporate Office would contact me within 48 hours ...... its now June and I'm still waiting ! This is about Corporate Greed, non trained staff members and managers at no fault of their own have been placed untrained into the service of dealing with customers. This visit to Walmart was a little disappointing. I came to make a return and but a few necessities. When I got to the customer service area there were around 4 staff members standing around talking. One woman looked at me and made eye contact, but didn't say anything. I even tried to ask if she was available and she said nothing. Finally a staff member named Michael was available, but he did not look up from his phone. I had to double check he was even talking to me, because he never looked at me once, asked how my day was, or anything. I find the customer service in Walmart to be slowly declining. I did see they are seeking management positions, so I'm thinking this may be the reason there has been a shift lately. I also gotta admit, I am not a fan of the paper bags...they don't even have a handle! And last little vent is that their credit card machines don't have the option to tap...what's that about!? I'm a Wal Mart girl through and through. It's a one stop shop that has a lot of necessities-overall. It simplifies my life. I'd love if this would become a Super wal mart someday so that we could have more groceries. For now, it beats any of the other consumer goods stores nearby and gets the job done! read more

Second time dealing with the Walmart Auto Care Center, and unfortunately it was another frustrating experience. The first time was with my husband's car, and now with mine. I had an appointment for an oil change at 3:30 p.m. and arrived early at 3:20 p.m. Despite having an appointment, my vehicle wasn't even brought into the service bay until 4:45 p.m. That's over an hour past my scheduled appointment time before any work even began. I understand delays can happen, but if appointments are running that far behind, customers should be informed when they check in. Having an appointment felt pointless when the wait was that long. Based on my experiences, the Auto Care Center seems consistently understaffed or overbooked. read more

I find it rare that I ever turn to Google to leave a bad review, but today's experience deserves it. The asset protection associate at the exit was completely out of line. He screamed at me over the use of the handicap cart, telling me I couldn't take it past a certain point and that I was "certainly not allowed" to bring it to my car. I've always used these carts to get to my vehicle and I always return them -- never once has it been an issue. I had absolutely no reason to be chastised, especially as a disabled person who relies on that mobility assistance. Is this really how Walmart chooses to treat disabled customers? Because that's exactly how it felt today. Walmart needs to retrain this employee and rethink how they approach accessibility and basic respect. read more

First I never leave reviews. I was getting photos in the photo department. I think it was either a Saturday or Sunday morning and I ran into this guy named Anthony. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He had knowledge of his product I had problems he fixed him and I thought this guy is a nice guy and then I sat there while my photos were processing two more people came in telling Anthony thank you you're really helped me out. I needed new windshield wipers for my car and bought them at Walmart. I was having a difficult time trying to install them. After not having any success, I drove to the auto service area and they asked how they could help me. I told him I was having difficulty depending on my wipers and they told me to pull around to the other side since two cars were in line. Then one of the service workers helped me immediately. The wipers I had did not work so he brought out other wipers, installed two in the front one in the back, and I easily returned the non-working wipers and purchased the new ones. read more

I stopped at San Clemente Walmart to do some shopping. I was buying some scrubs and there confusion on some pricing for the same brand and color and there were some with discounted and some regular price Let me clear this wasn't about the price it was about what came afterwards I went to the fitting room area needing a simple price check, and the younger employee there clearly spoke to another staff member in Spanish about my request. It was obvious they were discussing it, yet no one communicated anything back to me--because no one spoke or understood English. I was left standing there, completely ignored, without even a basic response. Then I asked two employees in the back for help. One of them--without me ever asking for a discount--said he would call up front to make sure I wasn't trying to get a $4 price adjustment. It was uncalled for, unprofessional, and insulting. I never made that request--I simply asked for clarification on a price. When I looked surprised, he tried to deflect by saying he was "hard of hearing," which felt more like an excuse than the truth. Whether he was trying to cover his own behavior or minimize mine, it came off as condescending and dismissive. What made things worse was the lack of leadership on the floor. Everyone acted like a manager, but no one took responsibility. I was left feeling talked down to, ignored, and unwelcome. --- Here's the bigger issue: Customer service isn't a luxury--it's a responsibility. No matter how big or small a company is, it has a corporate duty to ensure employees--especially in customer-facing roles--can speak at least basic English. This isn't about criticizing individuals, it's about holding the company accountable for hiring and training practices that fail both the employee and the customer. Yes, low prices may get people in the door--but poor communication, lack of understanding, and dismissive attitudes will push them right back out. Respect begins with being able to communicate. If customers can't even ask a question without being misunderstood or brushed off, then something is deeply broken in your operations. They have SO MANY employees on the floor - but the majority DO NOT speak English (at all, they have another employee translate), and any time I need help with finding something, I have to go to multiple groups of employees around the store. I say groups because they are usually in groups together. Whoever is doing the hiring and training, please, hire people that can communicate with us and train them to either know where things are or at least radio someone in a department that can help. It is so frustrating. The app is not accurate at all when it tells you what aisle a product is in. read more

I seriously hate this place so much. I have no idea why I continue to come here. It's obviously out of desperation or a one time convenience, but then I am immediately reminded why it's so awful. I came to get bromine tablets for my hot tub and ended up with an arm full of stuff that I realized I needed, only to be reminded once I reach the register that they don't take tap to pay. I came here to get an oil change done for my car, it took them an 1.5 to do the oil change. I was the first car in the shop as well. Then when it was finished one of the shop guys had to go look for an employee to check out a very long line of people. Today I went in to get my tires done. I sat there waiting for three hours for them to finish. (Note: if I had the tools and shop, it would have taken me 1hr maybe 1.5). I was the only car getting tires put on. Another customer eventually demanded his keys back because his oil change was taking longer than my service and they hadn't even started on his car. After the finished I had to wait an additional 30mins for someone to come to the register just so I could pay. Come to find out, the lady was on her phone in a lane somewhere. No it was not a Walmart store phone thing, it was her personal phone. She even had her charging cord hanging off her while she was on it. There is absolutely no professional in this store. I hate going to it to even shop. The cashiers are always so rude and when I would go in with coupons they acted as if I was going to take 5hours to check out 2mins before they closed. They have also started to take price tags off everything like clothes and shoes. So be prepared to have to scan stuff yourself with the app. Total inconvenience. read more

My family was buying over $200 of camping supplies. We had great help in the department. Upon arriving at check out the bar code on a toilet seat was missing. The checker had no way to ring it up. My spouse went all the way back again and sent a pic of the price tag. It would not scan. I went back again, across the whole store and found one single item in the back with a code. While I was gone the second trip back an employee grilled my patiently waiting spouse, "Why are YOU standing there?!" Her tone was very accusatory. After our third trip back to the rear of the store, bought the item and then the same lousy rude lady demanded we show her both of the receipts, and suspiciously checked every item. If you're going to lock up makeup. Have an employee stationed there full time to assist shoppers. I pressed the button for assistance several times as did others that were trying to make purchases. The only reason I went there was to purchase many makeup items. I made other purchases while I was there. In the future, I will not go there. I will go to Target where it's not all locked up or I will buy off of Amazon. I am usually one who on Walmart. I was visiting from out of state. Forgot one of my daily meds. Pharmacy kindly reached out to my Sam's Club for my prescription. It didn't work out but they did try and were very apologetic about it. This location is clean and well stocked. I would have enjoyed shopping there on a day when I was stocking up for vacation had it not been for an injury. I had a torn meniscus while there and had to ride one of those motorized carts . Locals were self absorbed and unaware of anyone around them so I almost took out a few stepping out in front of me while texting. Couldn't have them saying Arizonans are rude though so I would have to often and then try to get that lawnmower with a seat and basket to get going again. read more

Was impressed by the neatness of the woman's department area. All shirts were nicely folded and everything was in its place and in order. Came in search of 100% Cotton shirts (which I found for an AWESOME price of $2.47 each in many cool colors). Also, I was looking for nice style and cozy socks with 100% cotton but settled for 78% cotton, since the 100% were all solid white and not cute lol. I typically never shop at these stores because the people working here tend to be useless at their job and or power hungry and love to make others miserable instead of treat THEIR customers as if WE are the ones giving them business. My mother tried to return something without a receipt. It got lost, she only wanted to exchange it for something else in their store. They aren't losing any money. Maria the "manager" literally made the process needlessly difficult trying to manipulate her by first saying with no receipt she could only give her $50 bucks. I sent statement of the day, time, and card and my ID so they could see the transaction. Said they couldn't find it in their system and claimed that since it was bought for Christmas the 90 days are already expired. They clearly thought my mom was stupid. I guess the manager also didn't know things process the day after you buy it in their systems cause she claims it wasn't there but she only checked the 21-23. It was bought on the 23 so it wouldn't show till the 24th and clearly she can't do basic math because the 90 days would be the 23 of this month...ridiculous. As soon as my mom mentioned that I would raise hell if I had to come down and I would just ask for a cash refund with all my "hard" evidence they finally decided to work with her. Ridiculous. Hate these big box stores and I will never be back on my dime. Do better. read more

This is a very large Walmart with tight aisles. Groceries are in the front center of the store. We stopped here on way home from Mission Viejo to pick up some packaged diet bread that we buy at other Walmarts. The packaged bread area was quite small with limited selection ... and mostly empty shelves. There were pallets and boxes everywhere waiting to be opened and product put on shelves. I don't think we'll be taking the 4 mile round trip detour again off of the I-5 to come to this Walmart. read more

Wanted to spend $500 on tires today. Called your automotive department twice but nobody answered. Went to your store and there was nobody in your automotive department. Asked another sales associate if there was anyone who could help me. They replied "yes" and walked away. Never saw them again. After almost 40 minutes of waiting and trying to give you my money, I got no assistance whatsoever. Then when I go to your website to complain, it tells me I have to enter the email address for my Walmart account before I can complain. Not only do I not have or want a Walmart account, but I shouldn't need credentials to lodge a complaint. I do not understand why people bring their non service dogs into Walmart and other retail stores. They are not allowed, and employees should tell these people to stop bringing them inside. But what is more ridiculous is a Walmart employee cleaning up after the doggies mess, and then telling the customer how cute the dog is. Enforce the rule, and don't worry about offending people who do not feel laws apply to them! read more
