This walmart is shit. We bought this tv from their store. We had to wait to set it up because we had to figure out the space at our house. The day we opened it up we noticed it wasn't working and so we brought it back to exchange it. The customer service people there were so rude. They just assumed we broke it and spoke to us in a tone as if we were stupid and uneducated. Bottom line they sold us a broken tv and wouldn't let us exchange it unbelievable that this isn't even the first time they've screwed us over. I will NEVER shop at this Walmart or any walmart ever again. I have never felt so offended by the service and their employees. read more

i have had to go to walmart pharmacy's all over california. this one by far is the very best. the wait is never more than an hour. Last time I want I had some new prescriptions and I am a cash paying customer. when the bill came out I started crying because there was no way I could pay. they asked me a few questions, had me fill out some forms and my bill went from over 300$ to under $100 the blonde pharmacist - i don't know her name is kind and compassionate. this is by far the best pharmacy in the county let alone a walmart pharmacy. read more

Love this Walmart, it's huge and it's definitely one of the cleanest Walmarts I've ever been to. It doesn't feel creepy at all to shop there. It's like shopping at a giant Target with more stuff and better prices. They seriously have everything from interior home paint to horse feed to organic baby stuff. If I could put no stars I would... I went to look for a Coldplay cd and was literally standing in front of the electronics desk for about 6 minutes. There were three people there. Only one customer was being helped and the other two employees were just talking and messing around. Neither of them acknowledged me at all. Not once. No "hi ma'am, I'll be with you in just a sec". It's common courtesy to acknowledge a customer even if you can't help me out. This just made me walk out and not give Walmart any business. I went to Walmart at 9pm on a Sunday- I had purchased a money order there for my rent, on Friday and sometime over the weekend, must have thrown out the bag that the money order was in. I couldn't find it anywhere. So I went to Walmart and dealt with the Manager Jay. He told my fiance on the phone, that if we came there he would do whatever he could to help us. We went and asked for him, he found the money order in the system and said as long as the money order wasn't cashed, they could cancel it and issue a refund, as long as their security department cleared it. Security has to look at the tapes when they come in Monday morning, and confirm that I was there, and then they will issue me a refund tomorrow morning. What a relief, I am SO grateful for his help! He was very kind and provided great customer service. read more

I waited 30 mins to have someone help me with the BBQs in garden center. I had called twice from the store phone. Finally Sebastian came to help me and he was very good. He even said that he will be outside getting carts and will help me load it in my car. Unfortunately, it didnt fit, so I will pick it up tomorrow. Thank you Sebastian for your service. so I went to this walmart to buy a micro SD chip for my new go pro camera and we went to the electronics section and there was no one there to help us because the chip was locked and we needed assistance to get it. there was 1 guy that worked there and he was busy chatting it up with another person. when another lady walked by she didn't work in that section so she couldn't help us but she found another guy to help us and he also couldn't because he didn't have the key so he had to find the original main guy that was chit chatting with another person about nothing important. he got the chip and without even asking if we needed anything else (which we were thinking of getting) and then when we paid he was like yup and he just kinda threw the thing we bought on the counter after he scanned it. I've met some really nice cashiers there but this guy was just terrible. read more

I don't really shop here because they don't have many organic/natural options, but all my visits here have been great. They are always very friendly here, and they usually have everything that I need in stock. And if they don't, they're always willing to check if they have anything in the back. Even though Walmart is not my favorite store to visit, I've always had a great experience coming here and always leave with a smile read more

This store is always trashed, managers are always snippy and too busy to help with customers, I think one in particular I have been blown off by more times than I can count, greyishblonde hair, customer service supervisor, I don't think she even knows what customer service is.. Believe her name is Karen, avoid her if you need help she will only prolong your issues. Never enough registers open for how packed it is and the customer service supervisors sit there dumbfounded instead of hopping on a register like I know they know how to do. I avoid this place as much as possible. There is a much nicer one not too far away on east valley parkway that is much more customer service orientated. Do yourself a favor and go there instead. Oh and the only reason for 2 stars is Wal- Mart's low prices. read more

I shop at many Wal-mart stores. I must say that I always have the best shopping experience at this location. The employees joke around while still being professional and friendly. They are helpful as well. The store is clean and well stocked, if an item is not in stock. Speak to one of the managers and they will gladly assist. Great leadership leads to great employees. This Walmart is awful. I go out of my way to drive to the one in Vista, even though I live in Escondido, just to avoid the awful service I get there. The managers are rude and obviously have no college education because they aren't very bright. The customer service line is always out to the door and associates are just walking around doing nothing while one person tries to help the line. I've had trouble returning things multiple times WITH A RECEIPT, only to be declined of my return, funnily enough when I go to the Vista Walmart they are always HAPPY to help me with anything I need. Oh, and they take my returns! If you could choose any other Walmart to go to, I would. Because this one is just awful. read more

OPTICAL department for glasses, extremely overpriced! It would have cost me over $500 to get the progressive, transitional lenses I got online at Coastal.com. Coastal provides excellent customer service, extremely quick delivery, 365 day free exchanges and returns (postage paid) and expert advice. Unbelievable. Today is 11/10/2016 and I went to this branch of walmart to buy some clothes and wines, so 4 lines were stopped because non of the cashiers passed the class to sell alcohol!!!and I asked some of supervisors in yellow, they were not able to sell as well!!!!!! I stocked there for more than 20 minutes and cashier (Calvin) didn't care that his line has stopped and he was just chewing gum and saying I can't do anything till a supervisor came and just passed the bottle over the belly scanner!!! Do Not Purchase the Go Bank card here. I did. Was very sorry. I drive uber who uses go bank cards for payments. I only have one phone. When I tried to register my new card I was not allowed due to the fact my phone number was whit a different account. Ok so what about the 100 bucks I now dont have access to. Spoke with Go Bank three time who I clearly explained it shows that my phone number was the issue. They insisted I change my email. Ok I did. Still same message. I said ok is the money on the card. Thy said oh yes use it. Well no money on the card. Called back again they said use a home computer to register it. Went to wall mart and showed on my receipt that I had money on a card that was not there. They said it wasn't there problem. Ultimately had my girlfriend register the card. Only after agreeing to pages of legal documents just to get my 80 bucks. Well we got it and Cancelled it all. This is going to be escalated to the banking and trade commission. read more

This store is alright. Unfortunately not a super store... but with as bad as parking is already I'm sure that'd make it 10x worse. I don't know if a new manager took over around Christmas time or so but the stock on the shelves sucks. Either they're out of it or they move everything around. It's really annoying to come into a store and see that quite a few things got moved around the store or were completely removed from the shelves. The employees aren't too bad here at least. If I go here it's usually just to run and pick up one thing really quick and I always try to check out through the jewerly counter in order to avoid the mayhem that awaits at the check-out stands. Went in yesterday to get a phone for their Black Friday deal. We needed two phones and the first employee (Ramon I think was his name) was super helpful, knowledgeable, and on top of it. The employee "helping" him (I think her name was Nancy) was constantly interrupting him asking him questions, chatting, asking him to call people, etc. And it was frustrating. But that wasn't the worst of it. Ramon had to go on his lunch and so Nancy helped us activate our second phone. Not only was she easily distracted, but she kept trying to multi task by helping other customers while she was supposed to be helping us. Every time she was claiming she was on hold trying to get our phone approved (whatever that means, I'm guessing she didn't know what she was doing). When we asked her the case size for the phone, she didn't know and told us the wrong one. She helped two other customers as we waited for "approval" and I'm sure if she had just focused and finished ours we wouldn't have had to wait the TWO HOURS we stood around in store. She was ridiculous and didn't even try to do better. So disappointed with the level of service she provided. Ramon came back from lunch and helped another customer all in the time we waited for Nancy to finish whatever she was doing. So bad. read more

They didnt have the right tablets i needed, plus all there tablets were disorganized because of other customers not putting them back where they found them. ugh. i always end up frustrated when I go here. The products are decent and well prices but the shopping experience is SO bad that it makes it almost not worth it. It's the most frustrating when it is packed and there are like 2 registers open and you see the manager walking around not taking control of the situation at hand. I'm a very busy person I dont have time to shop so i did the shopping online and picking up at the store. I got a text telling me my order was ready went to the store only got a couple of items from the stuff I ordered. They told me I had to come back another day.i went back the next day only got some of my order. My review is specifically for the optical center ... ordering glasses here took FOREVER the employees are not well trained and all seemed very frustrated and overwhelmed. when my glasses came in the frames were so tweaked and out of whack they could not adjust them to sit straight on my face (which also took about an hour for adjustments) finally I decided to return them and that took 1 hr and 45 min! because the employees did not know how to process the return. I ended up having to leave and come back 30 min later to get my refund. ridiculous experience! read more

In Regards to Shoe Metro who Walmart sells some products through. THEY SUCK. Their items are not labeled with correct info. We ordered a pair of Purple boots and they sent us Navy Blue! We also ordered a Kids size 5 and they sent us a Toddler size 5! They refuse to pay for return shipping! Absolutely HORRIBLE!! This place is horrible!!! Today I was harrased by the employee working self check out. She came over and wanted to see what I was scanning, she went through my bag to make sure I scanned everything which I had! and then she accused me of switching out tags!!! She kept saying I didn't scan a tank top and made me rescan it, she then saw that I did scan it, it was just marked down from the printed price on the tank! She looked hella stupid and said " I'm just doing my job" I told her to leave me alone as this is self check out and I didn't need her assistance, this isn't the first time this happens to me! It happened before with groceries. I will just shop at Target where I don't get harrased by employees and its much cleaner and nicer people work there. Oh WallyWorld... This location always has way too many people everywhere. I hate shopping here, but I live down the street and they are open 24 hrs. Anything I might need I can find here at any hour. What really gets me, is they are ALWAYS stocking the shelves yet they are always OUT of what I came in for. One day they had no cases of beer in the cooler!! The cooler is a whole isle. How does that happen on a Monday night? What is the point of having boxes everywhere and so many employees "stocking" the shelves if there in nothing on them!!! I know I will be back... once you start shopping here you always get sucked back in for something. I try and avoid this place as much as possible. On the plus side, it's pretty clean for a Wal*Mart. The bathrooms are always clean and the customer service counter employees are always as helpful as they can be. read more

I just visited the Walmart, off nordahl, & have been visiting this location for quite some time, almost each time I visit, Shawn Snow, has been either the supervising manager, or manager on duty, each and. Every time I leave SO impressed. I myself have been in the service industry for almost 10yrs now and when I come across someone that is truly passionate and irreplaceable-it does not go unnoticed, he is simply why I am writing this review on the company right now........I am not going to lie I have not EVER had a good Walmart experience until I came to the Nordahl Walmart, and was able to be handled by Shawn Snow. He is one man/employee that truly impersonates what a GREAT employee should, not only loyalty to the company, but great customer service as well, I know that if I come to this location, and have Shawn as my check out person, I will have an experience that is worth a lifetime because of his generosity & him genuinely wanting to take care of me-these are all aspects as well as traits that are for a TRUE manager or even something greater! Thank y Shawn Snow-because of u I will be coming back to Walmart & suggesting all my friends/coworkers to visit the Walmart off nordahl, because once you have Shawn Snow, u will not want to visit any other Walmart beside the one that he is working at!!
