Wow! I've had some serious issues of late with delivery. Items listed as in stock (for many weeks) and not in stock.....I was told this would be removed from the website. No Not! Also, they are doing voluntary substitutions which I have de-selected the option to substitute with items, in some cases, I can not use due to requirements of the machines, ie; laundry detergent. I'm at the point I'm going to have to get off my butt and go to Target or use Instacart for Food Lion or Publix. read more

This is a gem of a Walmart! Ok, it is a Walmart, so you must expect long lines and poor customer service. That's just how Walmart is. But compared to other Walmart in the area, this one has more product, more organized, cleaner, and calmer than the others. I try to go during the day as its not so crowded, you may not have that option. Some of the cashiers are awesome, too! Terrible serivce for jewelry section. My sister and I drove about 40 mins to the location for getting my niece ear ring hole. The guy standing there told us there is no release form for liability waiver. So we request him print for us, but he said there is no way he can print, no time frame for the form come to the location for us. Nothing provided at that time! We do not like to write bad reviews. But this is treating us like idiots. I believe this Walmart will not last long... hopefully find better employees... for better serivce future!!! Good Luck!! read more

This store is really clean and nicely organized. It is obviously it is a newer store because it doesn't look or feel so run down.

very annoying. very disorganized and the workers are not trained very well. my mom and i had to walk around the store to find someone who could unlock the dressing rooms for us. the girl we asked stated that she didn't work in the clothing department but would find the person who did. we waited literally 20 minutes and then when she finally arrived she didn't know which key unlocked the dressing room doors. another 10 minutes go by of her literally just trying to unlock the door. she eventually just gives up and says she's gonna find someone who knows which key it is. (which is what i thought the first girl i talked to was doing 30 minutes ago.) so she leaves to find someone who knows which key it is and we wait another 15-20 minutes and by this time two other girls are trying to get in the dressing rooms as well. i'm fed up at this point and i'm tired of standing in the same spot for LITERALLY 45-50 MINUTES , so i climb under 4 dressing room doors to unlock them for everyone so we can finally try on our clothes. by the time i finish trying on my clothes , (i had ten items of clothes to try on so just know it wasn't a quick trip in the dressing room) they STILL DIDN'T COME TO UNLOCK THE DOOR. i was so irritated i didn't even feel like checking out or buying anything so i just left. just go to another walmart. absolutely pathetic. read more

Customer Service was extremely rude to my daughter today. I shop at Walmart every week and spend anywhere from $100+ weekly. I asked my daughter to return a bag of Halloween candy, it wasn't even marked as Halloween big bag of mixed chocolates. I gave her the receipt. The manager and customer service were so rude!! Not sure why they would not take it back, they offer another lady $1.50 for a Halloween costume and she had no receipt. WTH!!!! REALLY??? read more

My experience at this particular store was unlike what I've experienced at any other Walmart, honestly. I've never had to go back to a store with the same receipt twice. The first time, I went back because the cashier scanned one item twice. I got home later on that evening and realized that she also neglected to give me my paper towels after she scanned them. I don't know what she did with them or how I overlooked them, but she did not place them where I could see them. I went back the next day with the same receipt and, of course, had to go to customer service to see if I could either get a refund or replacement paper towels. The lady behind the counter was apparently left with too much work to do because she proceeded to let everyone know how angry she was and that she needed a moment, and none of the other workers were anywhere to be found. It was the weirdest experience I've had at any Walmart store. read more

Pretty good for a Walmart. They have a few really good employees and so far I haven't encountered anyone bad other than the manager. However, they still suffer from some of the same problems all Walmarts have such as very long lines, empty shelves, hard-to-find employees, no one answering phone calls, and selling rotting food. I have had horrible problems with milk already being spoiled despite not having passed the expiration date, as well as frozen vegetables and ice cream being obviously thawed and refrozen. I think something may be wrong it's their refrigeration system. read more

I would avoid this Walmart for ship to store. I've had large items delivered to this store twice and both times items were damaged and I had to wait for redelivery. Service is very slow, they usually have just 2 cash tills open. Photo area is better at the Kildaire rd Walmart. Could be a nice Walmart but this store doesn't have enough customers to keep it running properly. read more

Few intelligent life forms there. There is one customer service manager (thin blond woman) who is both intelligent and competent, which probably means she won't stay there. The others could not find their way out of a box. Because the competent one left at shift change, I wasted over an hour, on two trips, with something that should have taken 3 minutes to resolve, never resolving it. I could not fill out the survey complaining--or resolve the issue with the other company--because this store does not put the "store ID" (different from the store #) on its receipts. (When I called the woman said, I can't give out our tax id--first of all they can, and second---moronic! their own website says it should be on receipt.) read more

Customer Service at this store is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Most of the ladies working there act like they had rather not be working.

Horrible customer service!! I was allowing my child to walk beside my shopping cart in the toy section and a store clerk and another customer had the nerve to loudly talk (scold) about the fact that I would let my child walk freely being so close to the garden center door. First of all, it was none of their business how I choose to parent my child and second, if they did have an opinion, maybe whispering it behind my back would've been a better option. I was so stunned that I didn't say anything to either woman but I wish I had. I called the manager once I got home and realized how upset I was. While he apologized about the behavior of the employee, I didn't feel like there was any real follow through and he even remarked that he probably knew who said it. Why would you even hire someone so rude? I haven't been back to this Walmart since. read more

Customer Service is admittedly usually bad to nonexistent. Having said that, I don't usually need them when I go to Wal-Mart (fingers crossed), so perhaps my impression is more charitable than others. Great selection, big store, great prices; by virtue of location, it (for the moment, at least) also seems to be able to avoid the "people of Wal Mart" syndrome that's been increasingly overtaking the Tryon Rd store in Cary. There are actually respectful, clean, usually calm and peaceful and decently-dressed human beings that shop here. I'll keep going until the first time I see or hear a monster truck in the parking lot with an air horn that plays "Dixie." read more

This store is Horrible! NEVER EVER do site to store here. They had my daughter waiting for over an hour and could not figure out what to do. We ordered and paid for over 31 items and they did not have 1 of the items. This doesn't seem like it should be a huge deal but it was. They did not have one of the items (hair mousse) and NO ONE in the entire store could figure out what to do (I am not really sure why Walmart is selling things that they do not have). They did not know how to process the order without that one missing item. They couldn't cancel that item. They couldn't find the item and they couldn't substitute the item. They did not want to let my daughter leave with the stuff because they could not close out the order with that missing item. They did not want to let her go without being able to close out the order because they said she might go home and cancel it to get back our money. They were the ones that did not know what they were doing. They made her wait over an hour while they ran around clueless and took other customers. They insulted her and tried to make it her problem. They are horrible, unprofessional, unorganized, idiots. read more
